Chapter Eight: In the Museum

We rent a room in a hotel for a night, and we just tried for burying the ashes of Empusa. Veronica still wondering, I can't blame her because she didn't she her mother since she was born.

It's 2:00am, and she caught me swimming she came, I feel like shuddered while she walk to me. she sat down near in pool, and start a conversation. "Do you know Athena and Poseidon haven't great relationship?"

"Your ability is cooler than mine" Veronica compliments said to my power. We chitchat in the verge of the pool, actually I getting to know her better. She said to me that her, and his father lived in far away north when Athena gave birth on her the skies and gods sounds the horn, and they say that Veronica is the first birth and the chosen one. Minutes later Trevor yelled, at us to come in the room. "Guys look at the news! They found you!"

The reporter asked Chase stepdad Theodore who said and accused Chase as kidnapper and drug addict. Chase infuriated he pointed and threw the lamp on the television, and says that it's lies. "Dude! Chill! Even you're a fugitive now we can escape.. Right Veronica?" Veronica looked at Trevor after he said it. "Yes! We can escape here but you must chill and relax." She calmed me down, and I sit in the bed, and ask them. "Why I became a demigod? It's just a dream I wanted. Not this a reality? It's hard and ugh" Veronica comfort me as well as Trevor. Veronica replied "Since I'm a child I knew I'm a demigoddess, my father gave me my gifts to my mother Athena. I was happy every single day and every birthday because she left me a gifts and touching my hair while sleeping giving me a good dreams, Even I don't see her. Yes it's hard to accept that we're abandoned and must live in gods island camp of half bloods, first I'm afraid when I'm 10 I train myself to be the strongest and powerful so then, I will prove to my mother and my grandfather Zeus I'm worthy as a Hero. So do you, you will be the hero of Olympus and the camp." I wiped my tears, and I snickered said "Well explain." and she patted me tight and smiled.

"Drinks?" Trev asked.

I and Veronica laughed, and just grabbed a beer, and we tossed as we sleep for hours.

"Wakey, Wakey!!" Sternly and loud waking up of Veronica. "I'm awake!" I said flabby, as I go to bathroom and wash my face.

Trevor sit and drinking juice and eating some Doughnuts and Pizza leftovers yesterday.

"So, we need to get out in this place because any moment maybe monsters or demigods, etc will track us.. Again.. " Veronica said.

She packed of thing and said sternly meet me in the lobby. "Dude?" he languidly said. While I'm just change T-shirt and spray cologne, and that's it. I ate two doughnuts and drank water and leave the room.

"Where is Trev?" she's asked. "I'm here, dammit!" he said scathingly. "What happened?" I asked Trevor replied "my teeth stung." He said scathing.

"Okay, that's enough you need to deal with it. I already paid the rent in this hotel and let's go!" Veronica expounded.

"Wait what's our next destination?" I asked.

Trevor's response "Well, In the Museum!" Veronica looked at him and looks expressionless on it.

We took an Uber and go to the National museum where's there're statues of the gods and monsters as well.
