***Cyan***

"Yummy..." Berry's eyes still looked droopy. It was a good thing the sensors on her chair would keep her from crashing into everything.

Berry was smiling. Cyan could tell that her sister was happy. The medicine they were giving her for her pain was strong. It was in her system and slowly pushing the pain away.

She smiled at her little sister. Berry was small. Even though she was ten, she was shorter than some of the kids Cy helped babysit. Her legs were wrapped in casts.

"Berry, how did you get into your chair?" Cy's mom asked, rushing over.

"I climbed on it."

Wow, Berry must've had better upper body strength than Cy gave her credit for.

"Why would you climb up there when you were still so groggy from the anesthesia?" Cy's mother asked.

"I was tired of waiting for you to lift me up there."

"I was busy trying to finish up the tubes. How did you know your chair was unlocked?"

"It was locked."
