Episode 114

Fawn returned to preparing lunch while Michiru cleaned up the kitchen. He helped where he could, enjoying the comfortable silence between them.

Once he was done, he headed upstairs to the boss' office, plate in hand. He knocked softly on the door, waiting for permission to enter.

"Come in."

Michiru opened the door, surprised to find the boss alone in the room.

"What's that?" the boss asked.

"Fawn taught me how to make it." Michiru approached the boss's desk.

Sir Marcus took the plate and fork Michiru offered him. He examined the dish closely before taking a bite. His eyes widened slightly, clearly enjoying the flavor. "Not bad. You made this?"

Michiru nodded, feeling proud of himself. "Yes, sir. Fawn helped me."

The boss finished the entire plate in record time. "You should help Fawn out more often."

Michiru grinned. "I'd like that, sir."

"Did you come all the way here just to drop that plate off?" the boss asked.
