En plopped onto the couch as soon as they got home. His legs still ached.

"Let's put your legs up," Grandma said.

Cy blinked as she turned to look at them.

"Is he out of shape?" Cole asked.

Did this guy even know the meaning of the word manners?

Grandma took his shoes off. And she had to touch his legs to remove his braces.

"Ow," En whined.

Grandma sighed. "Can't you design some more convenient braces?"

En hummed. He hadn't actually thought of that. Maybe he should.

Randel chuckled. "He's a genius, until he's not."

En grumbled. "Shut up, annoying wolf!"

"This is probably a terrible time to provoke your brother," Grandma said.

"Would ice help?" Cyan asked.

Grandma set the braces aside. "He doesn't like ice. Do you happen to have a heating pad?"

En blinked. "I can use my powers."

"Are you sure you can make it that far right now?" she asked.

En grumbled. "Heating pad."
