Chapter 209: THE OTHER PLAYERS
Jessie stopped by the lieutenant's office when she returned. "I have a recorded interview with Nancy Miller, and we've got all we need."
"Let's hear it."
After rewinding it, she sat back and listened to the interview all over again. "What do you think?"
"I'm not sure how we'll handle her offenses. I guess that's up to the DA, but she did sound remorseful that she walked through the crime scene. You know, as with this case, sometimes after employees get a promotion, they think they know everything and can make their own decisions regardless of what the company would have said if asked. I think she's one of those people, and it's a damn shame. But there you have it."
