Chapter 53: S4 Dominic: Skin on Skin

Jasmine is distracted. She's a million miles away, but why?
Dominic draws in a deep breath. His inner wolf picks up traces of the local wildlife as well as a nervous buzz swirling around her. Perhaps Jasmine's anxious about spending time alone with him this weekend. After all, it is the first time they'll be away from town and civilization.
Once he gets her to the cabin, he'll help her relieve some of the stress and tension that's bottled up tight inside her. Hell, it'll do him some good, too. Especially since he spent the better part of the morning at Alpha Prime being questioned by Sheriff Taggart - that fucking pit bull doesn't know when to stop.
"Crap?" Jasmine's word sounds more like a squeak.
Dominic glances over his shoulder just in time to see her lunge forward in the saddle.
"How much further did you say it was?"
"Not far. We're less than a quarter of a mile away."
