Part Seven

The four boys arrived at the restaurant and they chose to sit in the booth seat next to a cyan wall. Ian and Brian sat together while Joseph and Nathan sat together. After sitting down, Brian took out his phone and told Ian to join him in the game. Ian did as he said and the two boys started playing Football game on the phone.

On the other hand, Joseph and Nathan were both really awkward and did not know what to do except browsing through the menu. Being a bit nervous, Joseph played with the edge of his shirt. Nathan saw it with the corner of his eyes so he reached his hand to Joseph to calm him down a bit. He gently touched Joseph's thigh and even gave his trousers a soft pinch before taking away his hand.

Joseph's face turned very red that he could feel it himself and he felt butterflies in his stomach.

'Oh gosh, Joseph... Stop blushing.' he thought to himself.

Fortunately, Ian and Brian did not notice what just happened to them. However, Nathan did realize the blush on Joseph's face. He looked down and smirked to avoid being too obvious.

"Awww man... We still lose..." Brian said.

"I know... I think our opponents are hacking!" Ian answered, feeling a bit mad.

"I know right?" Brian replied.

"Umm... Are you too going to eat or not... Me and Joseph have decided what I want to eat already." Nathan asked with annoyance.

"Yes. The mini pizza here is really good. I would like to have that!" Ian said.

"Ye... yeah! Me too!" Brian said.

"Okay, I'll order."

After a while, a waiter came and Nathan ordered all the food they wanted. After receiving the orders, the waiter left with a smile.

"Oh my gosh, Ian, look!" Brian screamed all of a sudden. Ian, Joseph and Nathan looked really anxious because of that.

"What's going on???" Ian asked.

"I got this 5 stars card for the first try!!! Haha hahaha!!"

Joseph and Nathan rolled their eyes while Ian felt really excited about it.

Brian and Ian kept playing with their phones before the meal came. At the mean time, Joseph and Nathan were sitting next to each other awkwardly and did not know what to say. In fact, Joseph wanted to be closer with Nathan but he was nervous and a bit insecure. The two boys never confirmed their relationship themselves, except having an intense night not long ago. Both of them did not know how or when to talk about it and felt a bit awkward to bring it up.

The food came eventually and the four boys started having their lunch together. After that, Brian suggested going to his house to chill and relax. Ian said yes without hesitation while Nathan said no to his invite.

Ian turned his head to Joseph and asked, "how about you Joseph, are you coming?"

Being at a loss, Joseph did not know what to choose. His eyes switched between Nathan and the other two boys, feeling very helpless. Right when he wanted to say something, Brian said,"come on, man. Let's go! I'll decide it for you."

Joseph nodded his head and replied with an "okay". Ian and Brian looked very excited. Joseph turned his head to Nathan immediately, he saw him shrug his shoulders with disappointment. Joseph regretted his decision at once. At the same time, a waiter came and put down the check. Ian took out his credit card from his wallet and told the boys that he would pay for the food today.

Then, the boys left the restaurant and went to different directions. Nathan left and waved his goodbye to the three boys. They all waved back to Nathan and started heading to Brian's house. Ian and Brian walked in the front happily while Joseph walked at the back alone. Nathan's disappointed face came to his mind which made him feel regretful for joining the Ian and Brian.

Shortly afterwards, the three boys arrived at Brian's house. Although they had not gotten inside, they could already feel that the house was really huge just by its look. Brian unlocked the gate and the boys followed him to the front door of his mansion. Then, they all went inside his mansion and Joseph was entirely amazed by what he saw. The sunlight brightened the whole house through the French windows. The pool outside gave the whole house a sense of relaxation and the spiral staircase made the house look delicate.

When Joseph was still appreciating the house, Ian and Brian had already ran to the couch and the big TV in front of them was turned on. Joseph then walked towards the boys carefully and sat properly at one side of the couch. He noticed Ian and Brian were both holding a controller in their hands.

"I forgot to ask you... Do you want to play?" Brian said.

"Nah... I'll just watch."

"Okay then... Feel comfortable. You can walk around if you like."

Ian and Brian then focused on the game and Joseph was left out by them. He watched how excited the boys get when they won and how angry they became when they lost the game. After a while, Joseph was bored and he felt like it was a waste of time to be there. He made up an excuse and left eventually.

On his way to his home, the boy that he had a crush on came up to his mind.

'I should have left the restaurant with him.' he thought and had a sigh. Then, his mind was filled with Nathan and the scenes of the night he had with him.

After arriving home, Joseph went straight to his bedroom. He took a shower to clear his mind and then he lay down in his bed. However, he still could not quit thinking about Nathan.

'Should I call him or text him? Should I ask him face to face?' these thoughts were buzzing Joseph and he could not take it anymore.

He finally decided to pluck up his courage to text Nathan.
