Norris Moore spent an entire afternoon at the bar, and when she finally returned home, she was quite tipsy.

Her housekeeper helped her upstairs, but Norris refused to go to bed and insisted on sitting on the sofa to sober up.

"I'm fine." Norris leaned on the sofa and spoke to the maids who were worriedly standing beside her, "You guys can go. I'll be okay after sitting here for a while."

The alcohol flushed her cheeks a rosy hue, but her eyes remained clear, and her tone calm. The maids respectfully retreated, "If you're hungry or need dinner, just let us know."

"Mmm, okay, thank you."

Norris nodded, leaned back on the sofa, and closed her eyes.

Seeing that she wanted to sleep, the maids quietly left her alone.

On the contrary, the more she drank, the more sober she became.

Yet, her body was still somewhat uncoordinated, so she remained on the sofa to recover.
