9 Siege on Karitori Chiku Part 3.
Part 0: Beginning of the end...
Arc 2: Attack on Karitori Chiku.
(In town where we left off)
Able: I'm more Able now than ever.
Sam: Jeez… forget me! What got into you?
Peter: He saved us! That's what got into him!!!
(Meanwhile)
(Anderson is standing in an alleyway surrounded by dead monsters)
Anderson Redfield: Hellhounds naturally… (He quickly turns his towards where Suzuki was) Suzuki… *Hmph* well these last 13 years with you were fun… Goodbye.
Jericho: (Standing behind Anderson) Felt it too huh? The Magica's faded from him. But my question is; what the hell am I feeling from down the Street!?
(Jericho walks past Anderson silently grieving)
Jericho: (Sees Able wielding Excalibur) Well, well Arthur today your son has become a warrior…
(Kane and Angelo are still fighting)
(Kane is knocked down looking a tiny bit tired and worn out)
Angelo: While I might not be able to beat you in outright strength; I can wear you down until you collapse from exhaustion.
Kane: (Starts to slowly get up, readying a pair of throwing knifes) Oh really? I guess you do hold up for being the Deadly Sin of Sloth. You're too lazy to fight me outright. This makes you Slothful!
(Kane throws the knifes at Angelo but Angelo moves his head and the knifes only graze his face)
Angelo: Impressive shot… should I not have turned my head; that knife would've went straight into my jaw. (Notices Kane has disappeared) Where did you-…?
(Kane suddenly appears in the air next to Angelo)
(Angelo attempts to block Kane but miscalculates)
(Kane plunges one of his Knifes straight into Angelo's left eye then jumps over him and kicks him in the back knocking Angelo backwards)
(Angelo falls on his face plunging the knife even further into his eye seemingly killing him)
Kane: (Nearly out of breath) Come on get up! I know you're Sloth but you can't be that lazy! (Angelo remains dead) And don't pull that fake death crap! It takes more to kill a full blood Demon than that!
Angelo: (Starts to get up and tries to pull out the knife) Oh you bastard! I'll get you for that… I'll- I'll! (The Warhammer forms in hand again) (He rips out the Knife but the eye doesn't heal due to the deepness of the wound) I'll do the exact same thing to your skull! Now I'm pissed!!!
Kane: Well when you're literally something called "Sloth", you're bound to mess up once or twice. I mean you are named after the lamest animal on the planet.
Angelo: Oh now that does it!!!
(Angelo runs towards Kane swinging his Warhammer radically but Kane just keeps dodging them all)
(Kane leaps far out of Angelo's reach)
Angelo: (Irritated) The coldest darkest part of hell's reserved for you!
Kane: Oh is that so? Well when you get there tell them "Kane isn't coming right now, but I'll take the spot for him."!
Angelo: Tell them yourself!
Kane: "Bet".
(As the fight turns towards Kane's favor, Angelo snaps out of his rage and remembers his mission. Find Gluttony and Wrath)
Angelo: (Rips off a sleeve of his jacket and puts it over his wound where the eyes used to be) Haha I don't have to be concerned with you! I just need to find her and get out of here!
Kane: Just her? What about Wrath?
Angelo: My specific orders are to bring back one or more of the sins! Even if I can just get Gluttony it will still be a massive victory!
Kane: Then I'll make you go back to the rest of the Sins in a body bag, with no new members!!! Enough playing!
Angelo: I don't have the time for this… haha but I do so enjoy it! I guess I can be a little more Slothful before doing my job.
(They each ready their weapons and charge towards one another)
(Sam and Able are standing back to back with each other)
Able: Samuel…
Sam: First time in a blue moon you said that… Is that still you Able?
Able: Leave the rest of these monsters to me… You're gonna be no help. And you know that.
Sam: As much as I'd hate to, I agree. Give them hell.
(Able quickly moves towards the hellhounds in front of him, cutting them all down one by one.)
(A second group of hellhounds jump at Able from a rooftop)
(Able readies Excalibur and takes them all out as they jump towards him)
Peter: (Puts down a ladder for Sam) Hey, maybe while he's out there being a badass you can come up here and get to safety!
Sam: (Rushes over and climbs up the ladder) Thanks. (Peter helps Sam up the ladder) Umm, this may seem like a strange thing to ask, but where's Isabel?
Peter: She and Louis just got to our holdout. She's a tiny bit hurt but nothing too bad.
Sam: Okay thanks.
Peter: I just hope Kelly's plan works…
Sam: And what exactly is his plan?
Peter: I don't know something about the shield that protects the town. We'll just see how this plays out. But at the rate Able's going, there won't be any monsters left.
Sam: Haha yeah…
(Kelly is busy completing Suzuki's spell)
Fredric: You done or what?
Kelly: (Gathering a few Redwood sticks and placing it in the middle of the spell circle) Patience is a virtue.
Fredric: Well do you think I'd have patience when monsters could be stalking us right now!!!
Kelly: (Burns the sticks) Shouting ain't really helping! Just keep guard and stay quiet.
Fredric: (Hears a loud banging sound from the forest) (Takes his Scarlet-Requiem spear) Fine you want me to keep guard!? Then I'll go check that out!
Kelly: Thank you. (A few minutes pass) (Reading through the notebook) After setting fire to the Redwood branches and the Yarrow herbs, only one more thing is required wait till the clock hits exactly 12:45. Its 12:38 now, we're almost done here. (Looks at Suzuki's body, lying next to the symbol) Mr. Yamada if there was only another way…
(A group of Hellhounds approach Kelly)
Kelly: No! Stay back! Fredric where are you!?
(A man walks out of the bushes)
The Man: (Brown hair and Red eyes) Oh Mr. Young's probably enjoying a cold downstream river bath right now! (The Hellhounds walk towards Kelly but The Man calls them back) No boys, we might still have a use for this guy.
Kelly: (Grabs the knife next to him) What do you want!?
The Man: (Reveals a set of vampire fangs) It's a simple request! Where is Samuel Logan Reyes!?
Kelly: And what exactly do you want from him!?
The Vampire: Oh its simple eliminate him before he becomes a threat. Unfortunately I couldn't get enough information from Mr. Young's blood. But apparently you're a little bit closer to him! Ah who am I kidding!? Have fun I only need a tiny bit of blood from him!!!
(The Hellhounds slowly approach closer to Kelly)
Kelly: 12:41 I only need 4 minutes!
The Vampire: How stupid do you have to be, to think you'll make it past 10 seconds!?
Kelly: No not stupid! Just hopeful!
(One of the Hellhounds jumps on Kelly but Kelly manages to throw it off due to the strength of a Reaper)
The Vampire: Remove the Full from Hopeful and replace it with less.
(One of the Hellhounds attacks Kelly from the side biting his right leg breaking it making Kelly unable to properly stand up)
Kelly: (Attempts to stand up but falls down) 12:43… even if I die, this place will still be saved!!!
The Vampire: Does it look like I care if it gets saved or not!? I just want the location of Reyes and everything you know about him!!! (He picks up Kelly throws him down to the ground full-force) Now how about talking now!!!
(Kelly just remains quiet and one of the Hellhounds bites his right hand off)
(Able is being overwhelmed by some of the Hellhounds in town)
Kelly: (In a pained voice) 12:44…
(Kane is grounded and defeated by Angelo being held by the mercy of his Warhammer)
(Angelo notices Valentina witnessing the fight and walks over to her)
(Hellhounds are closing in on the location of Team 1 all of which being helpless to defend themselves)
(Jericho and Anderson are drained of Magica and are surrounded by Hellhounds)
(One lone member of Team 2 kills himself with his Spear before the Hellhounds get to him)
(Even more Hellhounds start swarming the town from all angles)
Kelly: (Smiling before succumbing to his wounds) 12:45… Light breaks Dark-…
(The Magica Shield that protected the town moves quickly inwards towards the middle of town)
(The Shield just as quickly expands out pushing away and killing all Hellhounds in town)
(The Hellhounds fly away from Able, Team 1, Jericho and Anderson)
(Angelo suddenly gets stunned due to his Full Demon blood, allowing Kane to go in for a quick throw with his knife)
(The knife lands straight in Angelo's right hand)
Kane: Valentina! run…
(Valentina is helpless to defend herself_
(Angelo ignores the knife and grabs Valentina)
Angelo: Goodbye!!!
(Angelo uses a teleportation spell and escapes from Kane)
(Kane passes out from exhaustion knowing that he has failed)
(Team 1 and everyone at the holdout cheer out in victory high-fiving one another.)
(Excalibur fades from Able's hands and he takes on a much calmer tone, being a little bit dazed at what just happened)
(Anderson and Jericho stand up steadying themselves)
Anderson: (Tired and worn out) Kelly Dine… when I'm seeing you again you're getting all my respect!
(The Vampire gets pushed out by the Shield resisting it a little bit, he is unable to get blood from Kelly)
Sam: Hahaha haha! Yatta!!! (Sam punches up in the air out of victory) I honestly didn't think we'd make it past 5 minutes!!!
(Peace finally falls on the town and everyone rests)
(Later that evening around 20:02)
(Anderson is reading through a list of all the causalities)
(Anderson narrating:
Suzuki Yamada: Noble Sacrifice.
Fredric Young: Unknown presumed KIA.
Kelly Dine: KIA.
Valentina Taylor: MIA.
Angelo Regio: Abandoned post.
Theobald Cobb: Suicide.
Eddie Caldwell: KIA.
Mia Skeldon: MIA.
David McCrery: KIA.)
Anderson: The ashes left behind by you won't be cast away through the wind… Your sacrifices will all be honored, Rest In Heaven.
(Meanwhile in the eating hall)
(Everyone is celebrating, singing and having fun)
Able: Hahahaha! This afternoon was fun!
Louis: Fun for you because you had a massive sword!
Sam: Haha. (Notices Kane standing against a support beam in silence reflecting on his failure) What's wrong with him?
Able: Don't know, apparently he lost a fight pretty badly…
Sam: Poor guy. (Sam takes his and everyone else's plates) I'll take these to the kitchen real quick.
(Sam walks towards the back where the kitchen is and goes outside to scrape the leftovers into the trash can.)
(Someone suddenly tries to attack Sam from behind while he is scraping out the leftovers but due the Reaper instinct he instantly dodges it.)
The Same Vampire as before: I finally found you Samuel Reyes.
Sam: I don't even know who you are.
(The Vampire reveals his fangs and starts uncontrollably attacking Sam but Sam keeps dodging and countering every attack)
The Vampire: Can you just die already!!!
(The Vampire distracts Sam with his fists and while Sam is distracted lands a bite on Sam's right shoulder but it burns his fangs)
(Sam throws the Vampire off and lands a few hits on him with his fists)
(The Full moon lights up the area as they fight one another the Vampire lands a lot of hits on Sam with Sam only hitting a few times.
The Vampire: How do you even know how to fight!?
Sam: That's what happens when you watch a lot of Bruce Lee movies!
(The Vampire tackles Sam and charges him into the Kitchen)
(Sam knocks the Vampire off him and grabs a knife from the kitchen counter)
(Sam slices the Vampire's chest and the Vampire's blood spills in Sam's face)
(The Vampire takes out a dagger and lunges towards Sam)
(Sam readies himself but moves on his own and stabs the Vampire in the chest with the silver kitchen knife)
(Sam suddenly falls to the ground next to the Vampire)
(The image of Sam's childhood reflects in front of him, a kitchen, a bloody knife and a dead Vampire)
(Sam gets up and walks towards the eating hall tired and bloody)
(Everyone sees Sam walking in bloody and tired)
Able: (Rushes over to Sam) Sam! Sam! What happened!?
Sam: Someone jumped me! Right as I was cleaning out the boards!
(Sam passes out from exhaustion)
Able: Come on let's get him to bed!
(Able and Louis carry him out towards his sleeping hall bed)
Able: Isabel? Can you sit by him make sure he's okay?
Isabel: Yeah sure…
Able: He came from the kitchen; let's go check it out…
(Able leaves the room and Sam rests in his bed)
(Some of the smaller wounds on Sam heal due to the Reaper genes)
(Able investigates the kitchen where Sam fought the Vampire and sees that the Vampire is missing with only a blood trail left where he ran out)
(End of Chapter 9)
