18.Experimenting With Orochimaru

After walking for a few more moments, we reached a huge underground room. The room had all sorts of body parts of humans and animals in glass tubes filled with liquid. Also many corpses of ninjas from different villages. It was just as I imagined before coming here.

Orochimaru looked to see my expression and did not find any changes. I opened my backpack and took out my medical tools. I tied myself the Scrubs and wore a surgical mask and a surgical cap and also wore my gloves. I then looked at Orochimaru "Let's get to work. Do you have any Jonins as test subjects?"

Orochimaru hearing me nodded "Yes. I have some. I'll go get them" and thought 'He's definitely not Kakashi. What a monster'. And went to get a prisoner from the cage. After he went, I readied all my stuff in a workbench and did all the necessary sanitising.

After a while, Orochimaru came with a Iwa Jonin who was put on stasis and laid him on the workbench. I then took out the DNA samples I extracted from Hashirama's cells and injected it to him. As soon as I did that, the Ninja started squirming. I let him be for the time being and asked Orochimaru "How far have you gotten in the research on these cells?".

Hearing me, Orochimaru took out a scroll and handed it to me. It had all his research on Hashirama's cells and the way he made an arm for Danzo. Using the Sharingan, I read the whole scroll in minutes thinking to myself 'Got to say Orochimaru is a real genius. Without prior knowledge, he managed to perform such precision cell division.

It was a good theory. Speed up the cell division by providing the cells with chakra and also use shape manipulation to make it to the body part you want. But he did some errors in creating the nervous system and also the chakra network. But all in all, what I missed was the procedure of shape manipulation. That was the reason I couldn't get it to work. Well, who on earth knew you can use chakra to divide the cells and create the body part we want.

I then started correcting some parts in the scroll according to the knowledge I had and fined after training with Tsunade. Orochimaru was watching very much interested in what I was doing. I then handed the scroll back to Orochimaru who grabbed the scroll hastily and started reading saying "Interesting.... kikikiki". Many times.

I let him muse over his thoughts and came back to the Iwa Jonin as he had stopped squirming. I sent some chakra inside his body and started inspecting. What I found was that the DNA successfully entered his body, but his chakra is rejecting it from fusing with his body.

I then turned towards Orochimaru "Orochimaru san, do you have any way to extract chakra from Hashirama's cells? I could still feel a slight flow of chakra inside the sample you game me." Orochimaru nodded and brought a slime which was inside a glass bottle. "This has the first Hokage's chakra stored in it. You can use it."

I received the glass jr and took out the slime. Then I placed my hands on the Iwa Jonin and concentrated releasing some Narural energy along with my chakra pushing out the remaining chakra of the Jonin and emptying his reserves. As soon as I did that, I could feel the DNA merging in his body. At this time, I placed the slime on his chest and started feeding him Hashirama's chakra.

Surprisingly his body didn't reject and his DNA started to morph. He started squirming again, but this time, I held him down by creating some chakra threads. After a while, he stopped squirming. I released him and took some of his blood and tissue sample and checked it in the microscope I created.

To my surprise, this method worked. The DNA really merged without any side effects. This was all I needed to continue with the next step. Now I'm just one step closer in achieving Indra's and Ashura's chakra. If it's not enough, I'll need a drop of blood from Naruto and Sasuke to get things going. Just a small drop will be enough and it won't hurt them as well. If it works, I can unlock Ashura's power inside Naruto and also maybe give him wood release.

Orochimaru was very much surprised seeing me work and doing things that he didn't ever dream of. I turned to him and said "It worked. The experiment was a success. This way you can get Hashirama's vitality and increase your lifespan. Keep this guy in observation for now. Let's see what will happen after a few days. We need to confirm weather it has any side effects or not".

Orochimaru just nodded. And like that we spoke for a while about different experiments and exchanged knowledge. Orochimaru was happy he started gaining new information and also different methods that he didn't even dream to use. Like that we lost track of time and night fell.

At night, I teleported myself to the village and very carefully took a small amount of blood in a syringe from Naruto first. He didn't even wake up while I was taking his blood courtesy of Kurama's healing power. He also feels less pain because of Kurama's chakra. I smiled at the sleeping kid and left a chocolate bar in his pocket. I used to leave him some chocolates whenever I come to see him.

I then made my way towards the Uchiha compound and did the same to Sasuke. But Sasuke woke up as he didn't have a fox inside him to negate his pain. But before he could open his eyes, I I dropped a chocolate bar near him and teleported myself out of the village. I reached my lab in the Uzumaki ruins and started separating the chakra and extracting the DNA from both the blood samples.
