I sat on a chair in a completely white room. I was strapped onto it and a vr helmet was slowly placed on my head.

[LOADING SCENARIO]

the text was in a dark red and there was a loading bar beneath it. When the bar reached the end I found myself in the middle of a destroyed city. Smoke, fires, screams and blood was everywhere. The sky was red and cloudy.

"Hey you alright?"

I looked behind me to see Ha-joon waving

"Yeah I'm fine..." I replied before walking around the ruins. Even though it was virtual reality I could feel every step and every change in temperature thanks to the Chimera Skin

Suddenly something fell from the sky

"Get back!" Ha-joon shouted but he was too late to push me out the way. It was a kaiju standing at atleast 2 meters tall with a mostly humanoid body. It had a large spiky tail and legs with hooves. It swung a punch at me which connected with my torso

My body was sent flying through the air and straight through a wall like a rag doll.

shut up... I can already tell thanks to the blood I spat out. Ha-joon moved infront of me while holding a bow. The Ranger 320S is a special bow only accessible to kaiju exterminator's.

Ha-joon aimed the bow at the kaiju and fired but it quickly dodged before sprinting straight at him. Bullets came flying from every direction straight at the kaiju, tearing it's body apart into a ton of pieces

"Phew... that was way too close" I said. The kaiju exterminator's responsible for killing the kaiju appeared

"Are you two alright?" A girl from their group asked. Did I look alright? I mean I was crouched on the floor holding my stomach.

"We are alright"

Ha-joon answered.

The text was slightly reassuring. After all we did have a mission in this place.

Me and Ha-joon followed behind the group. I was holding onto a pistol named the eagle C-11, manufactured in America. Ha-joon's bow was manufactured in the United Kingdom... speaking of which the united kingdom is currently anarchy thanks to their current prime minister.

"HELP! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME! MY DAUGHTER IS STUCK!"

the call for help pulled me out my trance and I almost instinctively ran towards the direction of the shouts.

"Hey don't just rush in there!" Ha-joon exclaimed as he chased after me

"You will be alright sweetie" the father reassured his daughter... the little girl was stuck under the rubble and her arm was completely crushed. It was a gruesome sight, the man's nails were dirty and damaged from trying to pull the debris off of her

I rushed past the dust and smoke "I'm here!" I shouted and approached the little girl. Using the strength of the Chimera Skin I managed to pull the debris off the little girl. Chimera Skin suits were powered by kaiju hearts like almost everything else we use.

"YOU DUMBASS DO YOU NOT HAVE A BRAIN?" Ha-joon shouted in desperation. There were others chasing behind him. I raised an eyebrow in confusion

The man infront of me was about to be torn to shreds by a fairly big kaiju that looked similar to a bear. It's long tongues slithered out but before it could take a bite it was slammed into a bunch of ruins. The man who did it held a circular shield and a large white javelin. A determined expression was etched across his face.

"Whats with you?" Ha-joon asked me with a disapproving look. I guess I was desperate to save someone, anyone

But I didn't say a word.

The man kept fighting against the level two kaiju. Explosions and flying debris were everywhere. The man's shield blocked the kaijus headbutts. It's tongue flew out and wrapped around his javelin in a attempt to steal it from him but instead the javelin released a shock which burned its tongue

"Damn... he looks like a super hero" I heard some dude in the back say.

"Why isn't anyone helping him?" I asked

"Ki-tae-hyung likes to fight alone. He asked that we only help if the situation gets dire" it was the same girl that asked if we were alright who said that

I kept watching in fascination. That guy was pretty fucking good for a rookie, I felt jealous inside. Ki-tae used used his javelin to jump up into the air and the kaiji jumped up trying to swallow him. The javelin extended and Ki-tae struck the kaiju in its mouth creating a kaiju Skewer and a fountain of blood

"Dinner is ready" Ki-tae and glanced at the group

Damnit... he is cool!

The group kept moving forwards. As we wandered a mirror caught my attention. I stared at my reflection looking back at me. I had long blonde messy hair that faded into black. When I say long i mean it reached my butt. I let out a scoff and ran after the group who were already ahead of me.

"Let's get this over with quickly" Ha-joon said while tightly gripping his bow
