Standing a mere dozen or so feet from where they were standing, several calabash trees, loaded with bright blue calabash fruits, were growing big and strong without a single care in the world.
Occasionally, one of these calabashes would fall into the lake they were growing next to and raised the water level a centimeter or two.
This sudden increase of water volume, however, wouldn't last long.
