Went to Get Water

Crossing her arms to her chest, Selina's knitted brows created a deep fold on her forehead. She leaned on the bathroom door and looked around to make sure she didn't miss a single spot that could hide a human.

"Uh huh. So, she never came back to this room." She concluded when she noticed the way the blankets were in a twisted mess — rolled up like a twig — on the bed and nothing had changed since she left to go brush her teeth.

Rubbing her chin lightly, Selina decided to ditch her beauty sleep in exchange for an adventurous journey to search for Jessica. She bit down on her bottom lip, tiptoed to the door and slowly parted a small gap. Her round eyes blinked energetically, hoping to see Jessica's figure down the hall. Unfortunately, her target was nowhere to be found.

A sigh escaped her lips as she stepped out of her room. A refreshing breeze came from behind, sending chills down her back. Selina turned around and noticed the opened window. "Hmm? When was this opened? We always leave it closed. Oh well, I guess I'll close it first."

As she walked closer to the transparent glass, she spotted a moving figure in the garden. "Hmm? Alfred? But what is he... Wait isn't that Jess? Hoho~ I knew something was weird earlier. So, it's sneaky meeting time. I have a lover too, but he's downstairs~"

The sound of a turning door knob caught her attention, making Selina turn around again. As the door to the other room creaked open, Celinda quietly snuck out of the room with her slippers hooked in her free hand. Right after she successfully closed the door, Celinda slipped her feet into the slippers and patted her chest.

"Where are you going?" Selina's lips twitched while leaning her back on the wall.

"Huh?" Astonished by her sister-in-law's voice, Celinda turned her head backward to see a mischievous smile on Selina's face. "Oh, I was thirsty for some water. What about you? Why are you standing by the window this late? Is Jess sleeping?" She didn't notice it, but her fingertips were twirling the tips of her hair nervously. Her actions gave her excuses away instantly.

Pointing her finger at the garden, Selina smiled. "Jess also went to get water."

"Hmm?" Celinda didn't understand what her gesture meant until she saw it with her own eyes. She blinked twice before tilting her head toward Selina's. Luckily, the hallway was too dark to capture her flushed cheeks or else Celinda would be embarrassed to death.

Brushing the tip of her nose gently, Celinda asked. "Then what are you doing out here? Were you looking for Jess?"

"Me? I felt thirsty just like you and wanted to get water. Should we go now?" Selina held back her giggles and carefully walked toward the stairs. Following closely behind, Celinda nodded with a silly smile on her face.

'What are sleepovers without guys?!' Both of them thought inwardly as they walked to the living room where three kings sized couch beds were spread out. After confirming who was sleeping on which side, the girls exchanged naughty gazes and slid under the blanket to join their partners.

Circling her arm around Jason's waist, Selina rearranged his arm out of her way. Staring closely at how much of a light sleeper he was, she decided to give him a small tease. Tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear, she leaned closer to his ear and began whispering into it. "Hubby, I want a kiss."

A sweet smile curved on her lips when she felt him pulling her closer into his embrace. She bit down on her lower lip as the anticipation to taste his soft lips rose. Her eyes were glued to his slightly parted lips as he lowered his head and pursed his lips slightly.

In his half-asleep state, he ended up giving his wife a peck on the forehead. Dissatisfied with the kiss she had received; she drew circles on his chest and whispered once again. "Hubby, did you forget how a proper kiss is given? Should I teach you again?"

Trailing her fingers naughtily up his arms to the back of his nape, she combed through his smooth hair. Her heart raced faster and faster as her face went up to her husband's eased expression. She placed her forehead lightly against his before closing the gap between their lips.

At first, she pursed her lips to plant a peck against his defenseless ones. She waited, searching for signs of him waking up. Seeing him in deep slumber caused an itch to spread in her chest as she became bolder. Pulling her husband in for a deeper kiss, she took her time sharing the after taste of her mint breath with him. Unknowingly, Jason's arm tightened around her as she drowned in the addictive sweetness of kisses.

Sliding her knee between his crotch, she began teasing him beyond the extent she had planned to stop. Before she knew it, her wrists were pinned above her head and he toppled over her. His lips parted from hers. He whispered huskily, "Aren't you supposed to be sleeping upstairs?"

Staring at his lips, she bobbed her head once before shaking her head. "Jess started it. She and Alfred are together at the garden. So, I came here for my hubby. What? I can't kiss my hubby now?" She acted spoiled, making him smile.

"Of course. But only for a little while. Go back when Jess comes back inside, okay?" He kissed the tip of her nose.

'Okay~ But before that.." She lifted her head from the bed and took his lips once again.

Meanwhile, Celinda was busy snuggling close to Bryan's chest. As soon as he felt the familiar person in his embrace, he hugged her close. "Why are you here? What about the girls?" He kissed her cheeks before placing her head to the crook of his neck.

She took her opportunity to file a complaint to him about her envy. "Kyla was calling out Isaac's name while hugging the enormous teddy bear to my right. So, I turned to my left. Then, I saw Yi Wei hugging the mattress while kissing the pillow! I had nothing to hug, so I came down here. Why? I can't come join my boyfriend?"

"Hehe. Of course. You're always welcomed to come to my embrace. Come, let's sleep." He covered her with the blanket and made sure she was cozy before shutting his eyes again. As these two pairs enjoyed their time alone, Alfred was trying his best to win the girl he liked.
