317 Life Of a Monk After Having Kids

"Mmm, it's so nice and quiet after the kids are asleep." Selina muffled a groan. She was so tired after running around with the kids today that her bones felt like it could crack from one more bent. As she slowly drifted to sleep, she felt Jason's arm hold her from behind.

"Who would've known that having two kids at once would be this tiring?" However, as he spoke, his hands were naughtily digging its way under her top.

She reacted almost instantly to his touch. "Mmm, don't tell me you regret having our precious babies. If you do, I'll run off with them and you can stay alone. My babies are so adorable that they are allowed to tire me out."

"No way! This is the best kind of tired I love. I can't live a day without them around." Jason answered.

Kisses landed one after another on her neck. She could feel her body's desire for him as her privates became wet from his ministrations. Her thighs squeezed together as he continued to tease her soft spots.

"Is it safe today?" He whispered.

"Mm, yea-" Right when she was about to give in to her inner desires for the night, two figures dashed into their bedroom, interrupting the couple's privacy.

"Mommy!" Ivy and Chloe barged in screaming for Selina.

Luckily, Jason was quick with his movements. He retracted his arms and wrapped his arm around her over the blanket the second he heard footsteps.

"Yes!" Selina answered, raising her arms in the air as if she was surrendering herself to officials. It felt like they were being caught red handed over a crime they haven't done...yet.

The twins were now three years old. After learning how to run, they've formed a habit of running around after waking up. As they grew older, they liked to act like tiny adults.

Under Selina's guidance, the twins learned to express themselves freely to family members while maintaining a proper distance from strangers. Of course, Jason was the one who taught them to distance themselves even with boys around their age. They can be friends, but no promises can be made. It was as if he was afraid that his daughters would be snatched away by another family.

When the twins entered their bedroom, they were holding binoculars in their tiny hands. Though Jason was fast, the twins were even faster. They covered their eyes and ran out of the room. "Daddy continue! We see nothing! Continueee!"

"No - Wait!" Jason wanted to jump out of bed to catch his girls, but they were already out of the room.

"Hah! They sure learn quick. They run quicker than they speak." Selina chuckled at her twins cuteness. It was their daily dose of joy to have their company. "Let's go see what-"

Before she could get out of bed, she heard thumping sounds approaching. Ivy and Chloe each carried a pillow that were slightly bigger than them. Curious as to what they had in mind, Selina stayed quiet to observe them.

The twins ran up to Jason's side of the bed and looked up with their round puppy eyes. "Daddy! Hand hand!" Chloe asked for his hand.

As always, Jason felt his heart melt at the sight of his princesses coming to his embrace. "Here you go." He smiled, showing his teeth. His twins loved giving him surprises and their creative responses always crack him up.

"Here you go!" Ivy and Chloe repeated his words back to him. They stuffed the huge pillow out of their hands into his and ran to Selina's side.

Without a word, they grabbed Selina's hands. "Mommy, run!"

"Hah? Pfft, HAHAHAHAA" Selina followed her twins and ran away with them to their bedroom, leaving Jason behind.

He could hear Ivy calling out to him. "Daddy! Continueee! Mommy is our pillow! You have ours!"

Jason combed his hair back and started laughing with the two pillows in his arms. "Ahhhhh life as a monk after having kids. Life is hard indeed, but who told them to be this cute? And that's what I forgot to teach them...to knock on our door before entering."

He plopped back on his bed and sighed. "I taught them to always knock before entering other people's rooms. I didn't teach them to do the same for our room. But where did they learn to snatch my wife away? They should've snatched me away instead...."

At this very moment, Michael let out two sneezes. He rubbed his nose. "Am I coming down with a cold?"

"Uncle pick up the phone~" A sweet ringtone echoed in his ears. He smiled seeing Selina's name on the caller ID screen.

"Hello?" He answered as if he was expecting this call.

"Big bro, did you teach my babies to do something?" Selina was vague in her description.

"Oh? I only told them my version of The Big Bad Wolf story. Considering that you're calling at this time, my lovely nieces must have learned well." He smirked victoriously.

"Yes, they surely did. Here, the twins want to talk to you." Selina passed the phone over to them. With both of them hugging her in bed, Selina could barely sneak out. So, she gave up the idea of sneaking back to her bedroom to accompany her husband.

"Uncle!!" Ivy and Chloe greeted him immediately. They may be young, but they knew who gave them candies and fairytale books.

"Aye! My two darlings aren't going to sleep yet?" He asked them dotingly. Since they were born, he would shower them with gifts. If one day they ask him for the stars, he would probably give it to them.

"We are! We miss uncle and want to tell uncle to sleep well. Night Night Uncle! Don't stay up and be a panda!" Ivy giggled, remembering what Michael would jokingly tell them.

"That's my girls. Alright, then night night! Don't let the bed bugs bite." He spoke softly.

After hearing the twins tell him good night several times, they finally ended the call. However, the second this call ended, Jason's name popped up on his screen.

"Yo, brother in law." Michael answered.

"Don't yo me. You're teaching my girls weird things again, aren't you? Don't lead my girls astray." Jason overheard their conversation earlier and rubbed his temple when he realized the person who caused this was Michael.

"How's the taste of hugging a pillow at night? Heh." Michael asked.

"Cut it. What do you need?" Jason was back in bed and didn't have the mood to run in circles.

"Aaron's vacation-" He only needed to speak two words for Jason to understand what was wrong.

"Approved. There. Done." Jason grunted as he signed off on Aaron's vacation request. As Jason made plans to expand his business for Selina's sake, things have gotten really busy that he had forgotten about Aaron's request.

"Great! Thank you for your approval, brother in law. I'll see my lovely nieces when we come back." Michael happily ended the call.

"Damn! To use my babies against me-" As soon as these words left his mouth, he heard a creak.

Chloe and Ivy poked their heads into the room. "Daddy sleeping?"

"Almost." He smiled at his girls.

"Yay!" Ivy and Chloe ran into the room and spread their arms out for a hug.

He laughed helplessly while helping them on the bed. "Why are you two here? Isn't mommy with you?"

"Ivy? Chloe? Where did you two go?" Selina walked around calling their names.

"Mommy, we're in your room!" Chloe yelled.

"Oh, there you are. I went to the bathroom for a minute, and you two ran to daddy." Selina crawled into bed to join them. She playfully pinched Ivy and Chloe's cheeks.

Jason tucked them in. The couple watched as the twins fell asleep between them. They gave them a kiss on the forehead before whispering, "nighty night, sweeties"
