Didn't I Already Claim You?

"Mister Hui. Here is your morning coffee." The assistant's purposely softened voice pierced Selina's ears, making her rub her ear lobe irritably.

Before Jason could take a sip from the coffee, Selina cleared her throat and walked over to him. "Jason, I'm thirsty."

"Ah, this is black coffee. You won't like the bitterness of it. How about I make you a mocha frappe right now? It'll only take a few minutes. If not, I have water too." He looked at Selina with a smile, shocking the assistant on the side.

For the past week, she's been trying to get his attention but failed in all attempts. He didn't smile at her even once when she wore short skirts and low-cut tops. Not only that, he literally only spoke about work. Everything that needed corrections was highlighted beforehand, and he didn't bother speaking an extra word to her.

Right now, he was smiling and saying more words to Selina than he ever did to her. She held in her rage and politely interrupted the conversation. "Hello miss. If you would like a cup of mocha frappe, I can have someone purchase it. This is Mister Hui's exclusive mug and only he usually drinks from it."

Smirking, Selina raised her eyebrow. "Oh? Thank you for your offer, but I prefer his handcrafted mocha frappe for me. As for this black coffee, I just need some sugar packets to drink it. Can I try it?"

She looked at Jason with pleading eyes.

"Okay. If you want to try it, you can have mine. But if you really can't stand the bitterness, then I'll make you the mocha frappe. Be careful. The coffee is hot. I'll leave it on the table for you." He walked over to place the mug down.

The assistant tightened her fists around the file in her hands. "Miss, how about I make you another black coffee?"

Smiling, Selina took the mug by its handle and brought it to her lips. After taking a sip and leaving her rosy lip stain on the edge, she stuck her tongue out. "Blehhh. Bitter. Bitter!"

"Selina, I haven't added the sugar packets yet. Why did you drink it? Did you burn your tongue? Here, let me take a look." Jason walked away to the kitchen area for sugar packets when he heard her complain about the bitterness. She squinted her eyes in displease at its taste.

"I didn't burn my tongue." She said as she lightly bit her tongue, letting the tip of her tongue get fresh air. Taking the sugar packets in his hands, he knelt down to add the content into the coffee.

"Are you sure about that? Here, try another sip. I added three sugar packets to it." He stirred and mixed it well before feeding a spoonful to her mouth.

"Ahh, bitter! Too bitter! I need something sweet!" She stuck out the tip of her tongue again.

"Is it that bad?" He stared at the dark colored coffee in his mug.

"You really want to know how it tastes?" She looked at him with a sly smile.

"Huh? I mean yeah. It shouldn't be that bad in terms of bitterness." He didn't catch her hint at all.

"Jason, I want something sweet." Her voice changed slightly more provoking. Only Celinda caught the change in her tone and was smart enough to avert her gaze elsewhere.

"I'll get you a sugar packet." He attempted getting up from kneeling on one knee but failed. His eyes widened as he felt her soft, warm lips pressed against his. With his tie in her hand, she pulled him closer as she leaned forward to steal a kiss from him.

Unlike the peck they had last time, she daringly kissed his lips over and over again. Her lips were moist as their lips met repeatedly. After she pressed her lips on his twice, he started reciprocating the kisses. Slowly, his hands caressed her cheek; totally forgetting about everyone else in the room.

Finally, she parted her lips from his. Before letting him go entirely, she licked his lips and then the corners of her own. "This is sweeter than sugar packets. More effective. Don't you think?"

Jason nodded, "You..."

The file from the assistant's hand fell to the floor, snapping Jason out of his thoughts. With a satisfied smile on her face, Selina turned her attention to the assistant. "Sorry, we're used to doing this on our free time."

Hearing her words made the assistant gulp subconsciously. 'Shit! When did the boss get a girlfriend? And she heard every word I've said in the bathroom just now! But wait. I could be wrong. Maybe she likes him one-sided. Maybe it's just a greeting! Right..Right..'

She parted her lips and awkwardly asked. "Uhm..Miss..You and Mister Hui are..."

A vibrant smile appeared on Selina's face, without a hint of friendliness in her eyes. "He's mine. I claimed him. Right?"

Jason blinked as he looked at her in shock. He really wanted to pinch his thighs to see if he was dreaming right now. Celinda uncovered her face and stood up. "I'm the witness. My brother belongs to her. My brother has two kids with Selina already. Does this clear up their relationship?"

The assistant was in a daze as she looked at Selina, Celinda and then her boss. Jason saw the sweet smile on Selina's face and cleared his throat. "That's true. I'm hers." He pointed to Selina.

Taking this opportunity to get out of the office, Celinda hopped to the assistant's side and said. "Brother, I think Aaron needs a raise for choosing this young lady as your assistant. But I think it is best to let me choose a new assistant for you. I'll go right now to gather their resumes and have an interview. You two continue."

Pulling the assistant out of the room, she locked the doors from the inside before leaving. Finally, the two of them were alone again.

"What was that just now?" He chuckled while eyeing her luscious lips in front of him.

She leaned backwards, "What? Didn't I already claim you? Did you not say you were mine?"

He stood up and held her hands. "You've claimed me, and I did say I belonged to you. But I never said you could kiss me."

"Oh? So...I can't kiss you, hmm?" Her voice deepened slightly.

Feeling shivers to his spine again, he broke into a nervous smile. "Uhm...I didn't say you couldn't. Here, you can kiss me any time you like."

"No. Now I don't want to kiss you. Hmph." She took out the rosy tinted lip gloss from her purse and reapplied a glossy layer on her lips; tempting him.

Trapping her between his arms, he leaned close to her ears and whispered. "What if I want a kiss?"

"T..then you take care of that problem yourself." She pouted, blushing from his tease.

"Oh? You said it. Here's the return gift for the kiss from earlier." His fingers combed through her hair as he brought his lips to hers and devoured it passionately. Like a wonderous journey filled with curiosity and slowness, his lips met hers repeatedly. Their kisses were slow just like raindrops trailing down a window. After one drip, there will always be another.

Slowly and steadily, they drowned deeply in their affectionate kisses. Her small hands clenched against his suit as she gasped for air. Both of them panted after parting their numb lips from each other. Pressing his forehead against hers, he whispered. "When will you sign the certificate with me and make your claim official?"

Lowering her gaze, a small smile formed on her face. She reached for his hands behind her head and intertwined their fingers. Once more, she gave him a lingering peck. "Just stamped the certificate and made it official."

Chuckling, he asked. "Really?"

"Mm. Really." She replied with a giggle.

"Hmmm...It's already 11:38 A.M. What do you want for lunch? Girlfriend." He asked.

"Boyfriend~ I'm still full." She pinched his chin and let her nose meet the tip of his nose.

"From breakfast?" He waited patiently for her response before taking her lips again.

"From chugging vinegar." She blinked innocently with a smirk on her face.

"Oh? Then let me balance it out."

As the couple's kisses continued, Celinda was busy reviewing potential assistants. At the end, she decided on a balding middle-aged man, who had worked in the company for twenty years with a wife and kids.

After that, she went around the same departments she walked through with Selina earlier and changed her wordings.

"Ahem, everyone still remember the young lady whom I've introduced as our special VIP from earlier? Remember her well because she is your future lady boss. She's CEO Hui's fiancée. As for baseless rumors revolving around a certain assistant and the CEO, that is all a lie. This afternoon, the assistant was terminated for spreading rumors and has already left the company under my supervision. Continue with your good work."

By the end of the day, everyone knew who Selina was and politely greeted her when they saw the CEO holding hands with her. For once in their career, everyone saw Jason with a million-dollar smile on his face.
