Ch 2 - Choosing my class

As I sat there I began to come to terms with my situation. I didn't know how or why but I had been transferred to I didn't know where with my house and then a screen had popped up infront of me asking me to choose a class like in those fantasy games.

Now that I had broken down what is happening I decided that I should pick a class as the screen is still there, even after all this time, so I read over it again.

- Summoner: • +2 wis +1 int

• + summon small animal

- Destined: You will be selected a unique class based on chance and personality that may be better or worse than the base 4 classes. (recommended)

As I looked over my choices I thought about what the pros and cons may be I thought warrior and mage were pretty self explanatory, the warrior gains superior strength and endurance while having there base smarts and speed plus gaining mastery over a weapon but a mage gains superior smarts while having base speed, strength and endurance plus magic missle which I assumed was a base spell considering it was given to the mage class.

Now for the others I could figure out the Rogue and Summoner. The Rogue seemed to be based around stealth maybe like a [thief] or [assassin], they seemed quite fast and they gained a small boost to there intelligence while the stealth skill seems rather vague as it could have meant a boost to how well you are at hiding or it hides your presence for a time and quite a few more. The point is that without seeing it, it would be almost impossible to come up with a 100% accurate description for it.

As for Summoner well I thought it was quite self explanatory at first however what had me confused is what it could be in the future or more how one would get there as personally I could think of thousands of different of types of summoners such as those specialised in mass summoning, stronger summons, or even specialising in a single species so there would be no real way to plan out what I would do, I suppose unless I'm willing to gamble on what might happen next its a no go though I do like the idea.

What out of all of those intrigues me and I guess if anyone else was seeing it they too would be the most curious about is the Destined option. I can't even think about that one as I have always struggled with my own self however I have been great at working out others so the only thing I could guess here is it could possibly have something to do with animals as I've always had a soft spot for them even as I was slaving away I always headed home to feed my dog before he passed away.

Thinking a bit more I made my final decision as I focused on it the screen suddenly disappeared. I was extremely confused however I decided that since that panel disappeared I may as well try to look for something to eat I mean it had been almost a few hours since I woke up and I hadn't eaten anything so I went to my fridge and grabbed an apple ate it and threw it in the bin.

suddenly I remembered something as I hurriedly grabbed it out of the bin, I may have needed it or more specifically the seeds considering I didn't know how long my fridge food would last. Scratch that It would likely last a week till it goes off since I likely had no power. so I needed to prepare for the future and start a garden I may still have had to forage for a while but once it grows it should still help me out a lot.

I walked outside as I felt a blast of cool wind in my face and looked at the beautiful landscape which I was to distracted to admire before and god was it beautiful there was no pollution of humankind and all I could see was a vast hilly field with small trees on the horizon.

I looked around for a place to plant it as I spotted a flatter area of land off to the right and I decided that it would be a good place to plant the tree.

Conveniently once I reached there I realised that in a lower area of the fields hidden by a hill there was a small stream maybe only wide enough for a few people to step in and so shallow it wouldn't even reach your knees not to mention it was right next to where I was going to start planting the seeds. So I could easily collect water it was almost as if this area was built for farming.

And so with that sorted I decided to start planting the seeds I collected from the apple there was no guarantee it would grow but there was no harm in trying.

I crouched down to dig a small hole and set the dirt to the side it turned out this area had patches of loose dirt which would help with planting them after I put the seed in I covered it up almost all the way however I made a small mound wall around the seed so I would remember where it was and after that I headed back to my house to get a glass to water it with.

So I collected the water from the small stream and sprinkled it over the area where the seed is planted. I felt quite proud of myself for this and realised it was quite fun to do some gardening it was something I had forgotten as the last time I had time to I was in middle school and didn't really have much of an idea or the space but now I have a massive field and tons of time this may just end up being a fun experience as long as this place isn't dangerous.

I just raised the flag didn't I. Oh well guess I'll wonder bout it later.

I headed home as it was getting late. And I wanted to get something to eat. (my only way of knowing was the Sky) and began wondering why that panel appeared out of nowhere and now its literally nowhere then I began to pace around my house with a few apples in hand when suddenly I had a thought as I facepalmed.
