Just Another Sybby Adventure

Ah, yes. Sybby, it is I. The author of the 'Just Another' fanfics. The ''ROB'' that helped the 'Marauders.' Well, funny enough? I got fucking reincarnated. This is purely for my own enjoyment, and how I would interact in a situation that most MC's find themselves in.

I will not put much thought into titles :D

Reaching over, we saw Sybby, a local author and Fanfic writer for fun reaching for the final slice of a pizza sitting next to him on the couch. Having already eaten the whole medium chicken bacon pizza in record time.

He began to chew, leaning back with his headphones playing some random music he liked, but would easily forget the lyrics to in just seconds.

He had just posted another two chapters for Just Another Naruto Fanfiction, and Just Another MHA Fanfiction, his first two official fanfiction works.

He had considered working on his own personal novels as well, Surviving Eridelos, or Idle System but he shook his head. He wasn't sure why, but recently he just hadn't been in the mood for writing them, something about how he couldn't put himself in gear to write the MCs as he wanted to, struggling to help portray them in the light. He had already written many chapters for both, only to delete them.

After having finished the slice he closed the box, standing up to go toss it into the outside trash.

Once he got back inside he was about to sit back down, but instead, he decided to lay down instead, putting the headphones back on he relaxed on the couch, just relaxing as he brainstormed about his stories.

Sybby without having meant to doze off.

Something he didn't realize is he slept for a very long time, not because he could, but simply because somehow, someway he had ended up in the void, and within it. There was nothing, no time, no light, no sound, no air, nothing.

Due to this state of 'Nothingness', not even his pain existed here, or his need to wake up.

Without him knowing, he had continued to float through the void, meeting many beings associated with it, through many versions of the void.

Soon, for the first time in an amount of time that was untold, Sybby felt something.

Grass rubbing against his skin, a warmth over his skin. Slowly his eyes opened and he sat up, shaking his head he began to look around. A brow raised as he looked at his surroundings.

Rubbing his hands through the grass, it was pleasant. Looking up he was met with what looked to be the ceiling of the cave, a warm fire burning in the middle with no noise. The grass was only in the small patch where he was.

Looking at his hands he noticed his fingers were slim and long, he pats himself down and found he had lost a lot of weight, no fat or muscle really, he looked rather plane.

Raising a brow he continued to test his body, patting at his muscles, patting at his legs and chest. He felt fine, and he could tell it wasn't a dream.

He could also tell that despite having always thought about it, he was still really calm about the situation, soon an envelope slowly fell before him, catching it. He rubbed at its face and back, trying to feel anything special about it, the only thing he could tell is there was definitely something inside.

Tearing the letter open he pulled out a few papers with a lot of writing, and he decided to start at the start

"Hello Sybby, this is God. I will not go into detail about me, since I know you don't care. But I do exist, and much like your Fanfics, I have decided to reincarnate you, you have not died. I have simply given you the ability to enjoy an 'Isekai' Adventure, while also still being able to live your real life. Simply think of this as a dream, a very, very real dream. For now, your feelings are suppressed so you wouldn't freak out, you would have been fine, but it's better to just have a calm mind for the first bit."

"Your first world is a simple dungeon crawl, you will meet many people, and besides for a few things, you are basically an almighty existence to the worlds. I know you won't use the powers often, and if at all so I don't mind you having them."

"I know what you will do, and I know how you will do it, and I know you'll have fun, so take your time and enjoy yourself, whenever you want to wake up, simply ask yourself to do so, feel free to try it out as you see fit!''

Thinking about it for a moment, he thought about waking up, and the next thing he knew he was back in his living room, not even moments had passed since he passed out. He could feel the suppression, but it was lessening, he could feel his heart getting excited, who wouldn't be excited? He got to experience his Isekai adventure, without dying!

Soon he willed himself back in and his eyes grew heavy, and he was suddenly back in the cave holding the letter still. He actually felt he could wish how long he had been gone, that's useful.

''Now that you have figured that out, also note you can choose when you want to return, it'd allow you sleep without needing to worry about how long."

That's useful.

''There is another thing in the envelope, it's a card that you just have to hold for a bit and it will become your 'Adventure' card, the form of identification in this world. Once you link with the card, you will get your basic system.''

Looking in he found the card but left it, for now, reading the rest of the letter. ''You are currently in a 'Safe' dungeon, a dungeon usually used for people to learn how to fight and the like, you already have some experience fighting and using cold weapons, but this is a chance for you to get better while also learning about magic. This dungeon is actually a part of your system, think of it as an inner training realm. All you have to do is think about exiting it, once you exit, you will appear two hours away from the nearest town which will be to your east. No one will witness you leaving."

That was the end of the letter and it actually pretty much-covered everything Sybby cared about. Closing the letter he then took the card and held it.

After some time a screen appeared just as his face appeared on the card, it looked like a license, but instead, it showed his rank as an adventure and his class.

(I am shameless, I will make myself handsome. Picture here)

Rank: F

Class: None

When he looked at his system he was looking at a simple blue screen.

He spoke out loud. ''Do I have an assistant?'' He remembered it was in his 'Power' to do such, so he tried to make an assistant, it was more just someone he could bounce ideas off, not an A.I that could give him all his answers, a second person so to speak.

Sure enough soon a soft female voice spoke in a whisper inside his head.

/Hello Sybby\

"Oh, nice voice, a whisper so it's not too loud, nice. We should change my name for sure. Sybby is a pen name, but it always sounded weird."

/What would you like me to call you?\

There was a snicker from Sybby, due to his ADHD brain, the moment he thought of names, the first thing to click was 'xXSmashingYourMom69420Xx' but he didn't want that for obvious reason, so he took a while to try and come up with something. Something simple but nice.

Seth was what he came up with, he always liked the name, and it wasn't that bad.

"Seth sounds good.''

/It does have a nice ring to it, doesn't it?\

"So, let's explore this System.''

The first thing he clicked on was Stats, and it opened up before him, showing him in just a normal pair of shorts and a shirt, nothing else. To the right of his picture was the usual stats

Strength: 10

Dexterity: 10

Vitality: 10

Intelligence: 10

Wisdom: 10

When he focused he also got a simple explanation of all of them.

Strength: How much force you can exert

Dexterity: How well you can use your body, how aware of your senses.

Vitality: Your overall health, how sturdy your body is.

Intelligence: How strong your magic is, how much strength each bit of mana can exert.

Wisdom: How deep your magic pool is, and how fast it replenishes.

That's all really simple, just how he liked it. There were a few more things such as his rank, and his class much like his card, but this time there was an additional option besides 'None'

Focusing on the number three beside it, three options appeared.

Sword and Shield: Meant to fight at the front lines, you are the first to arrive, and the last to fall. Taking this class gives small bonuses to physical stats.

Mage: Meant to explore the wonders of the arcane, you can use mana to rewrite the very laws of nature. Taking this class gives you small bonuses to Mental stats and Dexterity

Bow and Arrow: Meant to use their sharp eyes and quick feet to pick at the weak spots of creatures. Taking this class gives a bonus to Dexterity and Wisdom.

Note: Taking a class does not lock it from being able to acquire later, once you take a class you start at its lowest class, and as you level up the skills and your own experience, you unlock more classes and get the ability to go to a higher tiered version of the job.

Depending on the class you take, makes it easier to learn, while the others will be harder. Example.

Taking Sword and Shield won't make learning magic impossible, however, it will be harder. If the Class maxes, and you can pick another class, that previous class's abilities, skills, and equipment remain free to equip.

"So, taking a class will make it easier to learn, I could take Sword and Shield, and use the experience that I have to get my physical body up to par with this world."

/You could also take the mage class, possibly learn enchanting, and would make it easier to max the other two classes.\

"A good point, but mana seems like a large thing to tackle with no knowledge of how it works in this world, I could also take Bow and Arrow, and focus on learning more about this world while staying at a distance, and since there is a boost to wisdom, that must mean there is something magical about it... I wonder what I should take?''
