I was just chilling in my electronic store peacefully minding my business on a peaceful morning. All of a sudden, I heard noises coming from somewhere unknown and through my prodigiously keen investigations learnt from the intelligent Detective Holmes I read about one time, I discovered that it was coming from a large number of people dragging and beating a young boy some ways away from my store. I got close to them and asked why, I was told the boy is a thief.

"Thief keh!! Ogun kill him today!" I shouted and joined the crowd to dust the living daylights out of him.

Hold up, wait a minute...

Before you call me unprintable names, hear my own point of view and side of the story.

My name is Tochukwu George, I am a born again Christian. In fact, I am a deacon in my church and I pay my tithe unfailingly and give offering voluntarily and regularly.

Sometimes last year, I took a loan of 10 million Naira from the bank and used my home and car as collateral. The money was used to stock my store with goods. But three days later, my shop was burgled and the sons of Jezebel carted away all the valuable electronics I just stocked. When the time to repay to the bank came and I was not able to meet up, my car and house was seized by the bank.

Ever since then, I have been living in a one bedroom apartment with my whole family. Those unfortunate sons of darkness turned my life overnight from that of luxury living in a 4 bedroom duplex to one of abject poverty living in a one bedroom apartment.

I didn't have an opportunity of knowing who those burglars that robbed my shop was, but since there is a thief in front of me now, it brings back memories I thought I have buried deep inside me and this thief must pay for what his more professional brothers did to me.

I rushed into my store and instantly picked up a long spanner. I rushed to where they were still beating him and used the spanner to reshape and redesign his face. After beating him to my satisfaction, I went back to my shop to pick my ingredient of cremation. I have a five liter keg filled with petrol inside that I wanted to use to power my generator for work later but this takes precedence over every other thing. I took the keg back to the site and thankfully and unexpectedly, someone has already provided tyre while another person has provided matches for the cremation. So the ingredients are already complete.
