Juliet and her team mates got ready to do the questions provided to them by the judges.Although Susan was nervous,she knew that this exam would determine the fate of her team so she got ready quickly and went on stage.

An hour passed before Desmond team could finish.When they all were through they submitted and left the stage.The announcer came back within 30 minutes and announced the scores.

" Desmond team has really surprised everyone here today with their performance,the misunderstanding has been cleared and it is now known that even without the other each individual from Desmond the am would have been able to answer these questions.The winner for this year's The brain competition is Desmond team".

Applauds came from the audience,it was really a thing of surprise.Everyone stood up to clap for Desmond team as they expressed genuine happiness for them.

Principal Dany was so excited to see that his team had won,he went on stage to congratulate the team members.

Juliet had already expected this outcome so she wasn't very shocked but the rest of the teammates were shocked,they didn't move away from their spot until principal can't came to congratulate them.

They were all so glad to hear that they have won.It was such a happy scene.

The host came up on stage one more time to say something " We have received countless of comments questioning the decision of the judge,actually even without the second round of questions Desmond team would have won the competition.Academia's team scored a score of 689 while Desmond team attained 800,it is clear to see now who the winner of the competition is".

After the announcer said this people understood that from the beginning Desmond team was truly the winner.

Ariana was really angry at the results,she left the stage in a hurry to call her dad."Dad I thought i was going to win the competition but i didn't,you said you were going to help me but you didn't now i feel very sad".

" I tried to help you babycakes but i can't make it so obvious.I have done the best i could do for you but it didn't work,I'm sorry babycakes".

"You didn't try enough dad,how am i going to go to school on Monday i feel so embarrassed"

" You don't have to go on Monday if you want i can help you transfer to another school babycakes"

" Ok daddy I'll transfer to another school"

After the call,Ariana felt slightly better,she only joined the competition because she wanted to impress her friends but now that she couldn't do it she just has to leave the school.

As the competition has ended it was time to go back to school,everyone got into the bus and sat down the same way they did when they were coming.

Before leaving principal dany stood up to address the students." Its such a big honor to be going back home as the winner of The brain competition,to celebrate this a party will be held in the school by tomorrow.Today you gyys get a break you deserve it".

As soon as he said this the students cheered and laughed." Principal dany since we won the competition don't you think you need to give us a reward" said Emmanuel.

" Well this party is the reward you should be thankful i allowed for this,you know the college entrance examination is in two months time,you should get prepared".

Hearing this the students groaned.They were going to do their entrance examination in two months time and before that there was going to be a mock exam in a month,the exam questions were really tough and remembering this the students were really sad.

" Can't the exams be shifted ,we just won the competition we are really popular now" said Andrew.

"Exactly why you should work harder,you got famous now because you won right,wouldn't you be more popular if you passed the exams with flying colors" replied principal Dany.
