Going for the competition

After saying what she had to say,Susan went back to her room.Nathan watched her ass he left and stood in a daze without moving.

The next day went by uneventfully and soon it was Monday.Susan was worried about how to talk to Juliet,she was scared that Juliet would not allow for Nathan to follow her.

The competition would begin the next day and the selected candidates were nervous.Juliet being the head of the group was trying to calm everyone.They were all going to leave today after school.Juliet was trying to make sure that everything was in place.She would not have done this if not for the principal.

Juliet was talking to Jason when Susan came to meet her.

"Uhhm... Juliet can I talk to you in private".

Juliet saw Susan who was talking to her with her head lowered.She knew that something was up with Susan and she was shocked when Susan came to school with her head bandaged. She wanted to talk to her but was distracted and soon forgot about it.

"Sure,no problem".

The both of them walked out of the class.

" My dad was worried about me going to the competition alone especially after I got injured,he would feel more comfortable if my brother accompanied me to the competition". Susan said to Juliet with her head lowered.

Juliet raised Susan's head up and said " why are you nervous,i won't do anything to you.Your dad wants your brother to follow you right ?"

When Juliet said this Susan nodded.

" Then your brother can follow us,I'm just wondering who your brother is".

After hearing what Juliet said,Susan was relieved.

My brother attends this school,he is in the same class as usual.His name is Nathan.

" Isn't Nathan the super rich kid.You guys don't share the same surname."

After saying this Juliet quickly apologized " I'm sorry,I shouldn't have asked.Since he is going with us I need to go inform the principal and the rest of the team mates".

Juliet left after saying this.Susan was relieved,she was happy that Juliet didn't ask her any questions as she was ready to say anything about her family issues to anyone.

All the team mates gathered around the bus getting ready to leave when they saw Nathan coming along with Susan.The teammates where shocked,the reason for their shock was because Nathan hated Susan no one knew the reason for the hatred but he was always against her in the class.

"Why is Nathan going along with us,I thought it was only the team members and the principal that was going for the competition"asked Andrew.

" As you all can See Susan got injured and her father wants her brother to accept her to the competition as he is worried about her and her brother is Nathan". said Juliet

The team mates were shocked,Nathan was the Richest in the class,some of the teachers feared him because of his father's wealth,if the both of them were siblings why was Susan always behaving like a poor kid.Those who bullied Susan were getting scared,they thought Susan was in the school on scholarship but now after knowing of her relationship with Nathan they got scared.

" Hurry up we are already getting late,we need to get there before night time". said the principal.

They all got into the bus and got seated,Nathan sat with Susan,Juliet sat with Jason,Hannah sat with Andrew,Kate sat with Emmanuel while the other just sat anywhere.

Jason and Juliet had not really talked from a while now.Juliet was busy while Jason was trying to avoid Juliet.He knew that Juliet was not ready to be in a relationship.

Jason did not want his feelings for Juliet to grow more so he tried avoiding her but Juliet did not notice as she was too busy.

The air around Nathan and Susan was really awkward.The both of them said nothing to each other,they just sat in silence.

Because the competition was in another city,the drive was really long.Susan felt really sleepy,she kept dozing off.

Before long she fell asleep.Susan placed her head on Nathan's shoulder and snuggled closer to him.Nathan looked at her and for the first time he didn't feel repulsed,he did not know why but he moved closer to her so that she would feel comfortable soon he also fell asleep.

On Juliet's side things were going pretty well.Juliet would say a few words to which Jason would just nod or hum.

" Why do I feel like you don't want to talk to me,since we got into the bus you barely listened to me when I talk to you,did I offend you "asked Juliet after being unable to withstand the awkwardness.

"No,you didn't,I just feel tired I haben't slept for a few days" Jason replied.

Oh ok ...after saying this Juliet kept quiet.Jason felt bad for the way he talked to her,he wanted to apologize but he did not know what he was to apologize for.
