Back at home

Andrew groaned one more time before finally giving up.The students chatted with each other till they got to the school.It was a really harmonious scene.

Finally the bus got to the school and they all got down.At the school entrance they met with celebration banners and students singing celebratory songs.

" On behalf of the whole school i say a big congratulations to Desmond group for winning the brain competition " said the vice principal.You guys can go home today and come back tomorrow for the party.

Everyone except the principal and vice principal left the school.

In the principal's office,principal Dany and the vice principal stood and discussed.

"This is great,we actually won the competition where am i going to put the trophy"

"Uhn the trophy case at the corridor "

"No that doesn't feel special enough,those trophies are not the same with this one.This is the first international competition we've won it must be treated differently"

" Why don't you just keep it in your office so anytime anyone enters your office they will be able to see the trophy "

"Wow you are right,you are so smart i wonder why you have never given me any good ideas like this before"

The vice principal just shrugged and left the office.

After the vice principal left,the principal took the trophy and put it on his shelf,after putting the trophy in his shelf,he laughed feeling very satisfied with himself.

Juliet and Hannah went home and met Mary waiting for them outside,she looked very happy as she kept checking to see if they were on their way.

"Mum we are back and so hungry,we missed your cooking" said Hannah

" I know,that's why i made all your favorite dishes.I missed both of you so much the house was really boring without both of you "said Mary.

"First you need to take a shower then you come downstairs while i serve the dishes".

Juliet and Hannah went to their rooms while Mary went to the kitchen.

30 minutes later both of them came back down and went to the dining room to eat.Mary asked them about the competition and how it went,she already knew that they won the competition as it was broadcasted on TV.

At Susan's house, Nathan and Susan had just arrived when Chloe's voice rang from the kitchen.

"Nathan honey i missed you so much,mommy is making lunch for you okay just sit still and relax,when i'm done you can tell me how the competition went".

Chloe didn't even bother with Susan,she came out of the kitchen and went to meet Nathan.She was very excited but when she saw Susan she felt disgusted,she couldn't even hide the disdain in her eye.

" It's good that you are here,when Nathan is done with his meal you can wash the dishes but before that go and clean up where i cooked " said Chloe.

Susan didn't bother answering her she went up to her room to drop her bag and came back down,she went to the kitchen to start doing the work that chloe gave her.

Nathan didn't like the way chloe talked to Susan but he couldn't do anything about it."Mum can she not do it now,we just got back and she is really tired, we have not eaten yet can she do all that after she has eaten".

" What nonsense are you saying,She didn't complain about it right,all i asked her to do was clear up and wash the dishes,why are you making it sound like I'm tormenting her" said Chloe.

" Mum I'm not saying you are tormenting her what I'm saying is let her do all this after she has rested"

Chloe looked at Nathan and saw that he was about to get angry so she decided to give in.

She went to the kitchen to tell Susan to leave the work.
