chapter 23 the banquet

I got ready for the party I took a cab and when I got there the party was about start

when I decided to go to the extreme end and then wait for the party to start officially I was thirsty so I decided to get a glass of champagne from the passing waiter

I took a sip and I felt something was odd

I decided to pretend as if I was taking it I wanted to see what's going to happen so I played along until I saw Emilia Anderson she came over with her friends and was

I acted like I was tipsy because I already drank a little from the wine so what feeling hot I decided to keep calm and then play along

then she said if I was tired that I should go to the room she is reserved for me so I should rest I thanked her but said I'm there to present a birthday gift to her and then great our father before leaving

she said okay and then left

I was feeling really hot inside

I felt like taking off my clothes and I needed something cold to calm me down the the little drink I have taken in was getting on me so I decided to go to the back of the hall

I took my phone and called Morgan but it wasn't connecting so I decided to text him instead I sent him a text

" I seriously need your assistance right now I feel hot all over and it's driving me crazy"

I should have left the party earlier I thought just hope I don't fall any more into their schemes

A guy came over to me

"Are you ok, you don't look well, should I get you a glass of water?"

he left and came back with the water I drank it all in one go

he just chuckle

I kept on pinching myself just to remain alert
