The Necklace!

When we went down, we caught a seat in the cafeteria. Me, Joanna and her friends sat together. A good thing is that the school pays for the food, and I really liked it. Once we were done with lunch, we went back up. On our way to the floor, I felt dizzy and nauseous. I felt like I was about to faint. And suddenly, I fell down, and it was all blank.

I became conscious after a while, and I saw that Joanna was delighted. She hugged me so tight. "I was so stressed, I didn't know what to do, I am so relieved now…" she continued but I still felt nauseous, and I wasn't in a mood to listen. I stopped her in the middle of her story and told her that I wanted to throw up. After half an hour, I was settled, but I felt sick and weird. I felt drowsy and heavy. I couldn't speak, Joanna could understand my situation, but she didn't know how to help me. She stayed by my side for the rest of the day. Ms Jessie was there too. She ordered some soup for me. I drank it, but I didn't feel any better. Hour by hour, I felt even sicker. Suddenly, I realised there was no cause for me to feel so ill. But I didn't have time to think about it. Unknowingly, I fell asleep. I

woke up after 3 hours. It felt like I slept longer. But I felt better, I was going through some of the bags that I brought to the trip. It was a total mess. I thought I would take my time and arrange it correctly. I dropped down everything in the bag onto the bed. There were lots and lots of things, I don't even remember bringing all of that! After an hour of organising, something sparkling caught my attention. I moved some things around, and surprisingly, IT WAS A NECKLACE!

"I remember this," I said, in my mind. The necklace I got for my birthday. Something I realised is that it always brought me lousy luck. "ehh, who cares" I said. "cares what?" someone said. I immediately turned to see Joanna. "what are you doing here", "you scared me very badly." I yelled angrily. "haha that was funny" she giggled. "but what were you talking about".

"its a necklace.".

"the one you got for your birthday?" she inquired.

"yep" I returned.
