Wasting Time

It's been 5 months that Gabimaru has been imprisoned in this hell where Higanbana would disagree with him and says it's the most pulchritudinous place that anyone will die to experience. While Higanbana was on her vacation break having all the spine-chilling creatures bowing down to her and serving all her needs gabimaru was the opposite. Gabi has been running away hiding from them and was frightened to even attempt to engage in battle with any of the curses. Higanbana was fed up with his cowardness behavior and decided to take things up a notch.

Higanbana pov

5 months have passed by quickly and this brat didn't even make an effort to try to fight the 4th grade curses. They are the weakest out of the bunch; he only needed to use them as practice dummies for the real deals. I'm disgusted that I invested my precious time with a weakling like him.

Higanbana pushed the curtains back forcefully off her four-poster bed that the curtains flung off from the bed and that caused to startled the jittery curses.

The special grade curses were curious about what caused Higanbana to be in a foul mood. All of them were hesitant to ask their queen what was wrong except the fearless Jorōgumo.

When Higanbana was about to exit the premises to teach Gabimaru a lesson about wasting her time the all mighty jorōgumo halted her movements.

" Higanbana, where are you going?" Jorōgumo was too informal for her ruler.

Higanbana turned her focus to her ill-mannered subordinate, " Excuse me ?"

The tension was rapidly growing in seconds which made everyone in the room uncomfortable besides the two curses that were facing each other without surrendering.

The gusty Jorōgumo repeated Higanbana's question, " Excuse me? I'm just wondering where you are going to go ?"

Higanbana began laughing like a crazy manic and started to mess up her hair to the point her hair was disarranged all around her face. Everyone was panicking about her next steps. Besides Jorōgumo she didn't move her 8 legs and her face was dull and unexpressive. Jorōgumo showed hHganbana that she was not scared of her superior and that amped up Higanbana more.

" Oh? My baby Jorōgumo is trying to be my equal, how cute is that? I must say I might be losing my touch to have a revolting arachnid scale up to me " Higanbana chuckled at the trashy spider.

Before Jorōgumo had a comeback to say to Her Majesty Higanbana quickly grabbed her neck and ram her head to the wall which caused a major impact on the area Higanbana slammed Jorōgumo's head at.

Higanbana used her free hand to grab Jorōgum's chin to face her." or you might be losing your mind to talk to me like we are equals. Have you forgotten you're here because of me? Like how I easily brought you here with me I can easily erase you like your whole existence was nothing but a tale" Higanbana swiftly cut off jorōgum 4 legs " Now you're not even on the same level as the other arachnids."

Higanbana let go of the wounded Jorōgumo to make her fall to the ground. She turned to the rest of her lower rankings " Don't help her either. Let her catch her prey to restore her energy to heal." Before she left all of the horror-struck servants; responded to her by nodding their heads at full speed. Higanbana fastened her pace to get Gabimaru to enlighten him that hiding wouldn't aid him in being strong.

Gabi pov

(It's painfully cold here. The sweater I once had is now obliterated when I was running away from the kappa when I was getting water from the river. I can't lower my guard because there are a lot of wild beasts here that can devour you within seconds. These past months I haven't slept or had a chance to even relax. It's either kill or be killed in this world and I'm not strong enough to kill them and I surely don't want to die in their hands. It wouldn't even be a quick death, it will probably be a long agonizing death that nobody wants to experience.)

(I haven't even seen Higanbana in like forever. I bet she's somewhere around here having fun as usual. Her deranged self is perfect for this place.)

While Gabi was in a small-scale cave rubbing his hands together to make himself somewhat warm he didn't even notice an unhinged frantic woman was coming his way. With every step she made her surroundings were losing life. The pretty trees that were once green and showing a large amount of life soon turned into dead leaves to the point that if you touch them it crumbles away. The little white light that was coming from the moon quickly turned red. The territory that Gabi was in felt so uneasy and that grabbed his attention. He saw the red moon and proceeded to walk out of the cave then he realized his surroundings were lifeless. He thought he was in a ghost town.

" Gabimaru," a demoniac voice called out for him that echoed in the forest.

(Not again. The last fight I was in I almost died. I hope it's not a grade 2 or higher because I don't have the strength to run away again.)

While Gabi was roaming his eyes around like a madman, the wicked figure was closing the gap between them from behind him. As soon as Gabi felt a presence behind him he attempted to turn around but the figure grabbed him and carried on by slamming him to the ground so hard that the bones inside of his body began to vibrate within him.

" Hello fool," the devilish grin painted on their face.

When Gabi was gaining back his senses he saw the figure that attacked him. " Higanbana! Why did you do that?" Gabi questioned the girl while panting.

"Don't question me brat, " her smirk did not remove from her face.

(Oh no with that smirk I just know she is plotting something in that satanic mind.)

" I'm tired of waiting Gabi. So now it is my turn to take action," she sighed.

(What does she mean to take action?)

Higanbana started to stretch her body by doing the triangle pose and the warrior 2 pose. This confused Gabi of why she was stretching but he didn't want to question the unpredictable woman.

" Okay, I'm finished," she stated after her stretching session.

" Finish for what?" Gabi asked out of curiosity.

" For this," Higanbana raised her left leg to her head and slammed it fast in between Gabi's vastus lateralis and vastus medialis to make his upper thigh. This caused Gabi to scream in agony.

Higanbana bent down and caressed his cheek while removing the snot that was all over his face," Hush child. Please use this lesson to not mess around. How the hell would you get strong when all you do is run away? I thought you wanted to be stronger, boy. Please don't waste any more of my time and do what you're supposed to do."

Gabi tried to respond but he couldn't make any words come out of his mouth so all he did was nod at her.

" That's a good boy. Now tell me what are you going to do?" she asks the disabled boy.

Gabi still couldn't say anything because of the exertion pain he felt in his thigh and this caused Higanbana to be more livid.

Aiko pov

Today marks the fifth month without speaking to Gabi. Aiko was in such a depressed state that even Kenji couldn't even make her crack a smile. Her new routine is waking up and checking on Gabi while talking to him for hours to let him know that he's not alone and ending the day by going to sleep. When Aiko woke up she began starting her routine and she checked on the person she misses dearly but today seems unusual. Aiko saw blood dripping from the bed and falling into the pool of blood that was on the floor. She rushed to Gabi's side and inspected his body and she noticed the fractured thigh.

(How did this happen? Why is Gabi hurt?)

Aiko couldn't think of anything but to call the man himself Kenji, " Kenji!!!" Aiko screamed at the top of her lungs to make sure it could reach him.

When Kenji hears her he dashes through the house to get to Aiko, "What's wrong?!" Kenji responds while panting to catch his breath.

Aiko's tears started to fall from her eyes and was talking all out of place. Kenji realized what was going on without Aiko's help; he saw the pool of blood coming from Gabi's leg. Before Kenji could even say anything, Gabi's arm twisted around at a 180-degree angle that made his arm look like a half-pretzel twist.

Kenji pov

" wh…what's going on Kenji," Aiko was crying out loud.

(He's not just unconscious. He's probably in a different world.)

"Aiko stay strong. Stop crying before you have more wrinkles on your face." Kenji nonchalantly said.

(Gabimaru comes back in one piece because there's nothing that I can do)
