Bonding

[ I wanted to show some Gojo and Misumi bonding time]

Author pov

Ever since Misumi met that man she had been curious about that special feeling she had gotten ever since she made contact with the mysterious white hair man she saw a year ago. When she felt his skin against her skin, it was a special bond she felt that she could not explain. Ever since she told her mother about that man, Makima always shuts down the conversation before it even gets started. For some reason, Misumi knows her mother is doing this on purpose but she doesn't know why so she's been trying to find him on her own. Since the young lady saw him in Tokyo whenever she got out of school she would walk around the busy streets of Tokyo trying to run into him again but luck was never on her side. It had been a whole year since she started doing this and still not thinking about giving up. The white hair girl could only dream of seeing him again to feel that feeling she felt.

" Where are you?" she mumbles to herself as she sips on her milkshake.

Before Misumi walked off a surprise guest was behind her, " What are you doing here Misumi?" Gojo asks as he grins at her, " Are you trying to look for your boyfriend?" he wiggles his body.

Misumi choked on the milkshake as it slid down her throat, " No Gojo senesi! I'm too young for that."

Gojo gently places his hand on her shoulder, " You sure are. I thought I have to tell your meanie mother about your scandal."

Misumi giggles at him, " Mother is not mean but she will explode if I ever did have a boyfriend."

" Back to my question, what are you doing here Misumi? Does your mother know you are walking around Tokyo?"

Misumi tries to hide her face because she is bad at lying but Gojo bends down staring her down making sure he can see her expression, " I can tell when you're lying, Misumi."

The white hair girl started to pout because she knew she had been caught red-handed "Nothing, I'm just looking for someone."

" And who is that?"

" I don't know his name, only his face and he looks just like you." She answered and Gojo turned paler than his usual skin color.

" I saw him a year ago and ever since that time, I couldn't stop thinking about him and this feeling I felt on my palms. It's just weird" she continued to explain to him.

"Have you ever thought he probably left the country or went to a different city in Japan? If you did this for a year and didn't see him maybe it is time to give up now." Gojo tries to stop the girl from finding the deadliest man that has ever walked on this planet. Instead of scolding her the only way he could stop this is if he is gentle to her about this.

The pout on Misumi's face never left, " I guess so but don't tell Mom about this. Lately, she's been so deep in thought like something is getting her attention I don't want to add more stress on her."

Gojo stuck out his pinky, " It's a promise then Misumi, you know I can never snitch on my favorite person in the whole wide world." when she connected her pinky to his, he quickly grabbed her and placed her on his shoulders " Let's get more sweets until we have a stomach ache." Misumi burst out laughing, " Yes Gojo." and he ran down the streets holding Misumi's legs making sure she didn't fall.

Gojo pov

when it was somewhat getting late Gojo took her home and he knew he would get in trouble with her wrathful mother before they even reached the steps of the house there was Makima outside on the porch with her servant Ms. Tanka by her side.

" Here we go Misumi, your mother looks furious, " Gojo whispered to the red-eyed girl.

Misumi laughed at him, " She is the nicest person I ever met in my life."

( Nice and Makima together in the same sentence? That can never be right.)

Misumi ran into her mother's arms, " I'm sorry if I came home late, I was spending time with Gojo sensei and he brought me a lot of sweets."

Makima snuggled in her daughter's hug, " Okay, I'm glad that you are safe baby. Go inside with Ms. Tanka so I can speak with Gojo alone."

Misumi nodded her head kissed Makima on the cheek and went to hold Ms. Tanka's hand and face Gojo's direction, " Bye bye Gojo sensei," Gojo waved to her with a huge smile glued to his face.

When Misumi was out of sight, Makima glared at the covered-eyed man, " What were you doing with my daughter? didn't I say a million times that I don't want her to be involved with any of you sorcerers?"

( Here we go.)

" I understand why you distest the elders and others but I don't have anything to do with your beef with them. I get why you won't tell Misumi about her father but she still is my niece whom I care for. You can't cut me out of her life that easy. She and I are family." Gojo stood his ground and did not mind Makima's attitude.

Makima didn't say anything for a minute, she eyed him down or perhaps thinking about something to say back to the white-haired man.

" You being more involved in her life will just complicate things and I don't want her to even get the idea that you are her father because that will just disgust me," The colorful-eyed woman finally responded.

"Umm Makima you do know me and he is twins so why it would disgust you?" Gojo kinda felt offended which was a first because the ego man hardly let anyone say something to break his confidence.

" Your twin is simply the better twin in my opinion and you will never pique my interest, " she folded her arms on top of her chest.

Gojo sucked his teeth at the red-headed and Makima replied by smirking at the man "Anyway, I have leads on your 'lover' Makima."

Makima didn't say anything so she could let the man finish "He murdered a couple of people in the cafe called Sweet Tooth Paradise."

( I see she's not cursing me out when I mentioned that Gabimaru is her lover. Makima still loves him as much as she did when she was younger. I wonder if he knew he had a family would he stop what he was doing? How would Misumi feel when she realized the man she'd been looking for was nothing but a serial killer? She must never know her father's past it might break her.)

As he was finished, Makima's smirk wiped away when she heard the name of the cafe, "What else happened?" she asked him.

" Nothing much but he used one person's head and wrote bonds over it and scratched it off. I really don't know what that message means."

Makima started to sulk after Gojo explained everything "That was the cafe he and I went to the day we had started dating. Maybe that message is meant for me but I could be thinking too deeply into this."

( If that's the case does he know about Misumi's existence? Why would he go to the same cafe that he went to with Makima when they were kids and cross the word bonds on it? I wish Twins telepathy was a thing because I clearly don't know what's going on in his mind.)

" Thinking about his moves won't do anything but I heard you and the rest of you sorcerers are in a sticky situation. That kid is Sukuna's vessel. How on earth did that happen?" Makima sat on the steps in front of her house.

" I believe Gabimaru played a role in that from the descriptions Yuji gave me how the man looks when he bumps into him exactly matches the same descriptions Megumi told me about the man at the school."

" What would he gain from doing that? What's his motive ?" Makima questioned Gojo and herself trying to come up with answers to her questions.

" I don't even know, not even Geto knew his plans. whatever he's planning he has an advantage against us because we have to keep an eye on Yuji to make sure Sukuna does not appear out of nowhere."

Makima's eyes widened when she came up with an answer, " What if he needs more time? Because the Gabimaru I know is that whenever he wants to do something he would do it regardless of the consequence. He didn't participate in the war nor made any reckless moves yet so it goes down to time."

( If time is what he needs then how dangerous is his plan? Before Gabimaru escaped Jujutsu High he was already strong enough to tear down anyone who was in his way so how strong is he now? How strong does he want to be to follow on with his plans? )

Makima's eyes narrowed as she kept going deep in her thoughts, "Do you think he wants to put an end to sorcerers? It makes sense since we were the ones trying to execute him."

" Maybe? But why would he help Geto build a whole army of sorcerers who believe they should be the ones on top of the chain? I think his plan is far bigger than that something crueler but I can't figure it out."

Makima let out a big sigh not knowing what her ex-lover was planning she leaned her back on the ground to look up at the sky, " Why must you be so difficult Gabi…?" she murmured.

Gojo let out a chuckle at Makima seeing how she was softening up with the whole Gabimaru situation. Gojo kinda of wished that they would get back together but that's all for Gabimaru to decide that because Makima would probably say yes without even thinking about it.

( You have people who care for you brother. I wasn't there for you back then but I promised I have you back now even against the elders.)

"I'm heading out Makima. You should stop by sometimes, everyone misses you and my students would love to catch a peep of the red-haired demon of the Saito clan." he laughed as he walked to his car.

"I will pass on that, I have better things to do." She walks inside her house and shuts the door behind her " I never felt connected with them, to begin with." she mutters to herself. "Besides my daughter the only person who I felt close to was him, his big smile with that messy wavy white hair, his soft blue eyes, and the way he touches me. His touches always calm me down, I miss it, I miss him." a single tear fell down her cheek, representing reminiscing about his gentle voice saying how he loves her in his mother's kitchen but that tear also represented regret for not telling him how she felt the same way.
