Accused

[ sorry I haven't posted in a while. I'm working on publishing my other book I have been working on for a while and now I'm editing 300 pages 😭. This is a light chapter and soon I will get into the good stuff😮‍💨]

After Makima stormed off Gabi had no choice but to go with the others.

( She's Makima after all. I know she can take care of herself to go back to the dorms.)

When Gabi found the others he witnessed a hyper Yu trying to calm down a terrified schoolgirl.

( Geez Yu, you're going to scare the girl more.)

Gabi shoved Yu aside and bent down to talk to the shaken-up student.

" Hey Gabimaru…!" Yu was cut off when Gabi raised his index finger in the air to signal the hot-headed boy to hush up. Yu understood what he was doing was wrong once he saw the student jump up in her place when he yelled out.

" I'm sorry," Gabi smiled at the student to ease her down and went to go with Gojo and Shoko.

(I know he didn't mean any harm but he needs to have common sense when someone is frightened he just can't be all up in their personal space.)

Gabimaru made sure there was a great amount of distance between him and the student. Gabi was sympathetic to the girl because he once knew how it felt to be rattled up like this. If it wasn't for Ms.Bushdia and Kenji he would probably have gone mad already.

" I won't ask you how you feel because I can obviously see that you're scared."

The girl didn't move an inch and still refused to make eye contact with the boy so Gabi had no choice. He leaned up against the wall next to her while still having distance between them.

" I will just stay here with you until you are ready to talk or get up," He rested his head on the marble wall. The girl slowly uncovered her head by removing her hands from her face and peeked over at Gabi and to her surprise he smiled at her.

" See, I won't bite." He joked with her a little bit to make the atmosphere less tense. She still refuses to say a word but at least she changes her position from being curled up in a ball to letting herself lean on the side of her body against the wall.

" I'm sorry that you had to see what you saw today. It must have been scary but you have to get past it and be stronger. Don't let this bring you down and shut off the world." He stared into the girl's eyes. '' I was in your shoes at one point. I was put in a place where I had to defend myself without any help. I was so scared to step out of my hiding space and just like that I missed 5 months out of my life that I will never have back. It's okay to be scared because that is what makes us human but it's okay to stand up against what you are scared of because that just makes us stronger and not just physical strength I mean a stronger mindset. Our brains are our biggest weapon," After that, the girl lightly nodded her head understanding what the boy was preaching to her.

"What… are.. You?" She stuttered but still was able to ask her questions.

Gabi shrugged his shoulders, " I'm just a regular idiot kid." He laughed out loud causing the girl to chuckle at his statement.

Gabi stood up from the ground and lent her his hand, " Are you ready to go to your other classmates?" He asked the girl and she bravely accepted his hand and held it tight, " Thank you." She murmured but he still heard her and guided her to the rest of the group that was outside of the broken-up school.

Gabi and the girl reached the others and the group of female students ran to the girl that was next to Gabi and hugged her tight. The girls were so overjoyed to see their friends were safe but unfortunately for Gabi as soon as they ran to her he got pushed out of the way and his butt landed on the hard ice on the ground.

" Ouch!!"

Gabi's classmates laughed at him and Gojo tried to help him up but then Gabi pulled Gojo's body down so he could get payback for laughing at him and Gojo fell face down on the hard ice.

" HAHAHAHA!" Gabi laughs uncontrollably while sliding his body on the ice trying to get away from angry Gojo. As the two brothers were playing, Shoko admired the bonding time they had but she had to join in and tease the brothers.

" Awe, it's adorable seeing you two having fun." She pokes fun at the twins and they quickly stop horsing around.

Gabi sucked his teeth and fixed his messy hair to push it out of his face, " As if," and Gojo fixed his glasses on his face, " You wished."

Shoko rolled her eyes at them, " Idiot moment. "

" Women," Gabi rolled his eyes and Gojo laughed at his comeback against Shoko and she retaliated by throwing a chunk of hard ice she found nearby at Gabi. Of course, Gabi dodged it but she almost sniped his head off if it wasn't for his fast reflexes, " You tried to kill me?" He raised his brow at the girl and she played it off, "Almost did. Next time I will throw faster." and she walked away leaving Gabi speechless.

( She just tried to kill me?)

Gabi still couldn't believe it and he was still standing there at the same spot having his mouth agape. As he was standing there like a moron the frightened girl from earlier came to him.

" Hello, I would like to give you a proper gift for saving us. I don't… have experience with the opposite sex."

" You mean males?" Gabi interrupted her.

She shyly nodded her head, " Yes males.." She whispered that last word, " But I read manga and I guess it gave me an idea what you… males like because the protagonist enjoys these types of gifts. "

( I wonder what manga she read)

The shy girl handed him an object but a scarf was wrapped around the gift. Gabi furrowed his eyebrows wondering what the girl got him in such a short amount of time. Gabi slowly unfolded the scarf and was flabbergasted by what he had received.

(WHAT THE FUCK?!)

Yu came up behind Gabi to see what was going on. " Hey Gabi, what's taking you so long?….." The cheerful smile Yu always gives out to people switches up quickly as his mouth drops from seeing what is in Gabi's hand.

" I read Golden Boy and the main character always gets extremely happy when it comes to females and their belongings. Thank you again," The shy girl quickly ran back to her classmates while Gabi was still standing there with unicorn underwear in his hand.

( She called me a pervert. I feel insulted…)

Gabi and Yu were still standing in their place looking down on a female treasure not knowing what to do. They both did not utter a word to each other but suddenly that moment of silence they were in soon turned into chaos.

" Why are you both standing there? Let's go, '' Shoko was walking up to the boys trying to rush them to the car but as her distance was getting shorter, Gabi and Yu started to panic and didn't know what to do with the sinful gift.

( Um, um, um, um.)

Gabi's eyes were trying to escape from his socket as soon as Shoko reached them. " Why are you looking like you have seen a ghost?..." Shoko looked down at Gabi's hands.

"Oh…?" That was all she could say.

Yu and Gabi look at each other and change their sights to meet Shoko's unreadable gaze.

( Is she mad?)

"Perverts." she spat out to them and punched both of them in the face causing them to fall back on the slippery hard ice and grabbed both Gabi and Yu's hair and dragged them to where the car was parked as she was dragging them they felt their butts turning into icy pucks "that's why you guys took so long? To see girls underwear!" she shouted and curse them out like rabbit dogs on the street and they both didn't dare to say anything to the small girl but feeling the throbbing pain of Shoko pulling their hair out of their scalped

( I didn't even do anything this time AND I GOT ACCUSED!)
