A single tear

Gojo faced Utahime and looked back at Gabimaru walking further ahead. He sucked his teeth, "Utahime, save the old man. I will chase after him." He hastily said without hearing her out.

"SATORU DO-" Gojo was already out of her sight since he sped blitz towards his brother's location.

As soon Gabi felt his presence near him, the corner of his lips curled into a smirk." Ah, I see. You want to go down this route." Gabi quickened his pace and started to run further from Gojo.

The two brothers were going at their fullest speed, jumping on the roofs on top of the temples, and breaking through any barriers that were blocking their way. Gabi flung himself high in the air, having both of his arms spread apart with a wicked smile across his face. "Gojo, Are you sure you want to do this? What about your students?" He pointed his finger in the direction where Yuji and Todo were fighting Hanami. The two brothers were high in the sky, having the heavy breeze blowing through their white hair as the sunbeams on their ocean blue eyes.

"They will handle it, I believe in them." Satoru's voice was full of confidence.

"Oh really?" Gabimaru's brow hoisted up and his tone was laced with mockery. "Let's see then."

Gojo was on guard, wondering what his brother was plotting. "Gabi-"

[Divided Hell] "Bundan sa reta Jigoku" His tone had become dark as the blue skies turned three shades darker. Rumbling was coming through the ground, causing the ground to quiver. People halted their fighting as they were curious about what was happening in the area. Gabi stood there, above everyone, across from his brother's face. " Are you positive that they can overcome this?" His question was rhetorical because he knew that they couldn't handle this amount of power. Gojo became tense because he didn't want to hurt his flesh, he wanted to save him and bring him back home to him so they could rebuild their bond. He just doesn't owe it to himself, but also to Misumi and Makima.

The deadly vines busted out of the ground and stood up to approximately 60 feet tall in the sky. Gabi's wicked smile grew wider, " Now let it fall and crush the useless beings to their death."Once he said that the vines twisted up together to make it into a dangerous weapon and fall towards Yuji's direction, to wreck him to his death. Everyone grew worried by the colossal weapon falling at full speed because as soon as it made contact with the ground the whole area would be in a disaster and that meant, everyone who was within the territory would be affected by this. Yuji and Todo looked up at the eerie sky to see that it was heading their way.

"We need to go brother," Todo advises Yuji.

"HUH? But we can't let that plant freak go." Yuji put up his fist in the air, ready for round two but even Hanami was retreating from this attack that was coming. The curse knew this wasn't part of the plan and had no need to be a part of collateral damage.

Todo grabbed Yuji's arm and tugged him by force. "That attack will smash us to bits before we can even finish our fight. We need to go brother." Yuji did not argue back since the attack was approaching them quickly.

Without even thinking Gojo went over there with a crescent kick to chop the attack in half, grabbed the top piece of it, and threw it away from his comrades to aim it at Hanami. The curse spirit was fast on its feet making sure that the attack would not touch him or even be near it once it landed on the ground, with all it might Hanami successfully dodged the attack but the massive impact on the ground forcefully shoved the curse spirit far away and harshly on the ground.

Gojo shoots a glare at his brother who's still in the air looking down at him. "You left me no choice." Gojo folded his hands together while having his fierce blue eyes burn holes into Gabi. " She will not see you like this, I will make sure to put you down before you crush that little girl spirit."

Gabi tilted his head in confusion, he was curious about what Gojo was mumbling about.

" Cursed technique amplification: blue" An uncanny feeling Gabi is starting to feel in the atmosphere. " Cursed technique amplification: red" Despite feeling that way, Gabi stood there above Gojo, waiting to feel the power that the gods blessed him with. His arms were apart and an indescribable expression was painted on his face. Saturo didn't know if his brother was scared, amused, or even angry. Gabi just stood there and Gojo continued his technique, Gojo separated his hands and aimed his hand signals at Gabi, "Hollow . . . purple." An intense lighting purple attack struck at the speed of light and Gabi stood there ready for the impact.

"IS THIS WHAT YOU GOT SATU-" The attack itself came in contact with Gabi and blitzed him away. Gojo's technique left destruction on the ground as it shot into the sky to send Gabi high up, ripping apart his flesh and annihilating his very own existence. A single tear slid down his cheek for the promise he had broken and for losing another person who was close to him that he couldn't save. Gojo wonders if he even could save anyone he cares about because he is starting to realize how he is slowly losing everyone. Yuji and Todo headed to him once everything was handled.

" Gojo sensei! That was awesome." Yuji's eyes widened with excitement as he looked into the sky to see the smoke trail from his sensei attack. Soon enough Gabi's burnt-up body had fallen back on the ground. There was hardly even a corpse left since half his body was missing and the rest was a failed experiment of a fried turkey.

Todo placed a finger under his nose holes to not smell the smoked flesh, " I won't be eating meat anytime soon."

Gojo stood over his dead brother's remains and just wished things could have been different from the beginning. Regret took over his body and he knew he couldn't face Makima or her daughter anytime soon. He failed to bring him back but he didn't have any choice, it was over. At least everything will go back to normal since the head of the operation is dead. Everyone came to Gojo and the rest and they looked down on the deceased body but didn't utter a word nor say anything. The new generation didn't know the relation between him and Gojo but they knew something was up since Gojo wasn't his usual chatter self. He was quiet and still as he watched his brother's body. Soon people started to leave and go to get treated after what happened today and soon enough Gojo was ready to leave. As he was about to walk away a help kicked his brother's body.

"You killed so many people, you piece of shit," The man aggressively said as his threatening tears started to spill.

Gojo swiftly turned his head, ready to tear that man apart for kicking his brother but someone beat him to it. Gabi's body started to regenerate as his leg and arms grew back and brutally punctured right in the man's stomach. The man gasped for air, surprised to see the dead man being alive. Gabi let out a menacing laugh at the distressed man and muttered Erebus. The wicked curse was within the man, and shortly after the curse matched his master's laughter and viciously tore the man apart. The man's insides spilling down on the floor as Gabi sits there having its blood fall on his body like a shower. Gojo stood there with thoughts racing across his mind but the one question he could formulate was how on earth is his brother still alive. Gabi stood up and wiped the blood from his eyes so he could have a better view to see his brother's priceless expression. " I will see you soon." Gabi pushes his hair back as his soldier Erebus stands behind him throwing half of the dead man's body in the sky and skipping around in circles having his blood showers his black/ purple body. Before Gojo could even move, Erebus held his master's body and disappeared into the shadows.

"What the hell are you Gabimaru?"
