Jujutsu Kaisen: The Contractor

Bindings, shackles, geas, chains, all things that restrict everything in our universe. Laws must be put into place and punishments need to be handed out to those who do not respect the rules for the world to retain its functions. But what happens when one can escape that punishment? What happens when one can manipulate those rules? A contract cannot bind one who can escape it. So the world cannot bind 'him' to its rules. He runs freely, unshackled by the rules of humanity and world. A God looking down on the world. ------------------------------------- Story is very slow and does not make the MC strong for the first 40 chapters. If you don't want that then I don't recommend this book for you. *I don't own the cover nor the story this fanfic is based on.*

Dejected Reunion

Arai walked out of the meeting with a stoic face with closed eyes. At the palm of his hands was a small tornado dancing around. He snuffed it out by clenching his hand to a fist before opening his eyes letting his green eyes be seen.

"Where are the kids?" He asked as he saw Ijichi walk towards him.

"They are with Ieiri. I brought them on a tour but one of them seemed bored so I brought them to Ieiri. She seems better with kids than me." Ijichi rubbed the back of his head embarrassed.

He sighed and rubbed his eyes. "I can already guess which of them that said that and I have to go see that damned woman."

"Eh? I am sorry if this isn't the case but I thought you had a good relationship with Ieiri?"

"A senior who bullies her junior and you call that a good relation." Arai said exasperated and walked away. "Well whatever, it was bound to happen."

"Ah do you want me to show where she is?"

"No need, she's always in the same place."

Arai said as he waved goodbye.

As Arai was making his way to the infirmary where Ieiri was at, he could see how the school was now. It was the same as it always was, mostly quiet with breathtaking view. It was calm and made his mind relax from all of the actions that happened before.

He made his way inside and as he saw the infirmary, steps was heard behind him.

"What did you come here for?"

A serious voice, one that would resembled a yakuza's not only in voice but in appearance yet he could not be the furthest thing from one. Despite his big stature, he was a responsible adult that wanted to help the next generation to become better. In conclusion, he was the definition a great teacher. Looking back he saw it was non other than the principal of this school.

"Principal Yaga, is that what you say to a former student?"

"To one that was expelled."

Though now Arai could see none of that, only a cold shoulder. Understandable since Yaga was the first to figure things out and find him responsible for killing over 100 civilians. Add that with Geto's similar situation and that made Yaga be even stricter and cold to them.

"*Sigh* What do you want Yaga."

"Don't you think that's what I should say. Shoko does not have the time to talk to you." Yaga said as he blocked his path not wanting to let their resident healer meet him.

"Then don't worry I won't talk to her. I just want to take back the girls and I'll be gone." Arai said as he walked passed him but a hand was placed on his shoulder stopping him. He was now beginning to be irritated from the constant interruption.

"I don't want to say this, especially to a former student of this school, but if you harbor any wicked intentions to this school. Then I will make sure to beat it out of you." Yaga threatened.

Arai hearing this chuckled.

"What? With your conscious army of puppets."

The moment he heard this, Arai could see it even with the glasses that Yaga wore. The surprise that shook the man. It was fast as he could see Yaga trying to regain his bearings but he could tell. He had caught him red handed and Yaga realized this as well.

"How do you know?" Yaga asked no longer trying to cover it.

"Kusakabe, did you forget what I am Yaga? To everyone it may be hidden but for me it's as bright as a star. You made a pact with him, of course I can see it's content. Especially for someone who neither is capable of using a domain expansion nor cursed technique."

Kusakabe, a sorcerer with no cursed technique and is a master of New Shadow Style. A skillful sorcerer that had managed to obtain the rank of first-grade with no cursed technique but at the end of the day, the man was human. His sister who had lost her son became broken and could not move on.

So to help her, Kusakabe decided to ask Yaga for help in creating an independent cursed corpse with her son as a catalyst. And to keep it a secret, Yaga asked Kusakabe to make a pact with him to tell no one of this.

"I may not know how you did it, but that kind of power. It's incredible. Just imagining an army of puppets, cursed spirits and sorcerers under my belt. That kind of power may even make me Special-Grade."

Yaga was on guard, just hearing that speech made him know that Arai was up to no good. He released the cursed puppets he had with him preparing for a fight but then Arai put his hand at the back of his head.

"Alas I have a debt to pay and it's one that I don't want to change for my benefit." Arai harbored no evil intentions to Yaga. "You were the one who accepted me to this school and made me get to know more about jujutsu. For that, I can't be grateful enough. Even though we don't share the same ideals, I respect you."

Arai opened the door to the infirmary and looked back to see Yaga looking down not showing his face to him.

"I won't tell anyone about this, so you don't either. This is a verbal contract not a pact so I'm trusting you on this. Don't make me regret that, Principal Yaga."

"So you still have a little bit of dignity in you." Yaga said as Arai halfway entered the infirmary.

Arai stopped in his track and smirked.

"Just enough to spare you."

Arai entered the room and saw Ieiri in a white coat similarly to one that scientists wore sitting down on a chair with Maki and Mai each on her side listening to her attentively. Arai let his eyes be able to see now and looked at her. The dark patterns beneath her eyes, the tired position her body took and the dyed brown hair, she had changed a lot in the past few years.

Arai leaned at the door and waited while listening to their conversation.

"So that's when I said 'You need mommy to put you to bed?' When he heard that, you should of seen his face. He got up in an instant and walked away all embarrassed! At that moment, Gojo knew that Arai was the perfect person to push around."

At that moment, the trio heard the sound of wood being smashed and looked behind to see Arai with a vein popping out of his forehead with a smashed door.

"How about you stop telling some bullshit stories to the kids, Ieiri."

"It's not bullshit if it's true."

She giggled before Maki out of nowhere jumped on top of the table and pointed at Arai.

"I knew it! You were the type to get bullied at school! I finally found your dirty hidden secrets Arai! Whahaha!" Maki laughed as if she was a villain delivering the final speech before confronting the protagonist.

But while she was in her own world, Mai tugged her sleeve and pointed with her head towards Arai.

"Uhm Maki?"

"What?"

Maki looked confused and looked behind only to see Arai facepalming himself. Before he sighed and pointed at her the same way she did to him.

"No dinner for you."

"Wait wha-!"

She could not finish before she felt a spiral form of wind appear beneath her and launch both of them outside the window. He couldn't even hear their cries or screams as he launched another gust of wind to close the windows.

"Well that's new, innate technique?"

"Technique, yes. Innate, no but I'm not here to gloat about how great I am."

"Which you aren't." She snickered before taking a puff of her cigarette.

Arai ignored her comment and leaned down to look at her face to face. He had come for her for one reason and one reason only and that was to take the twins back. Now that he has them, he would be on his way.

"Arai." Ieiri called out to him.

"What?"

"Do you regret it?"

His movement stopped. He knew what she was referring to, having left school, the massacre he had made and everyone he left behind.

Just for one single burst of satisfaction.

Even if it was a moment that would be detrimental to him, he had done it for the first in a long time. Be true to himself, not letting himself be restricted. That was what he had decided and will continue to do so.

"No." Arai said. "But I won't lie and say that I didn't miss you. It's good to see you again."

Shoko smiled and threw away the cigarette she was holding.

"If everything works out, maybe we can all go out for a drink. Seniors and underclassmen." She said as Arai was walking away.

"If we do then a seat will be vacant, that'll leave a bad taste in my mouth. I'd want everyone to be present if we do meet up." Arai said not looking back and waved his hand goodbye. "And that would no longer be possible. Not anymore."
