82 Culling Games VI

"I guess I'm the one who won."

Arai could only smile sheepishly at the incarnated sorcerer who sacrificed everything for victory. He could not understand people who were like this, yet he could respect them for their tenacity.

Though Arai soon put that thought at the back of his mind, he closed his eyes as he tried to remember the feeling of when that man swung the sword. It was like it cut the domain itself; it actually went farther as Arai could see the slash having cut multiple buildings behind him.

There he saw it, behind the blade, an incomprehensible phenomenon occurred. To that sorcerer, it may have just been a strong sword swing, but in reality, it was as if he was cutting through something. Something that he couldn't see but feel.

As if the world itself was split apart.

Just the thought gave him goosebumps.

His eyes looked down to the red blade still emitting that red hue.

'This blade is far greater than I would have ever imagined.' Arai thought as he grabbed hold of it.

Looking closely, he could see the blade having cracks within it. It was already damaged on the first day it was created. Scratch that, the first hour it was made. He swung the blade to the building without using his cursed energy and widened his eyes to see the blade not only intact but the building being sliced and falling to the side.

'I think I get it now; this blade is strong by itself but has that additional technique. It won't break as long as I don't use that technique inside it. It's definitely useful.' Arai thought before sheathing it and placing it on his hips.

'Who was that guy? He was so strong!' Eino said inside their mind.

"Didn't you hear him introduce himself?"

"I'm just saying that he was way above the rest of the fighters we found. Can't believe there are people this strong running around," Eino said, a bit numb from all she had seen.

Comparing all her previous opponents, a lot of them were people that Arai killed in an instant. There was nothing to see, nothing impressive. Only a few were able to even survive one strike, but this man was capable of not only fighting but injuring Arai. It was very impressive.

'Speaking of injury. How could you let him cut my chest?!' Eino said as there was a slash across her chest.

"Not like you had any."

'What was that?'

"Nothing. See, everything's fine."

The injury he suffered from the fight healed from his reverse cursed technique. He was, after all, very proficient at it. Now, though, he would have to pay attention to the start of his plan.

"Kogane, I have 100 points now, right?"

Kogane then appeared before him and nodded its head. "That's right! You can put up a new rule and be the first to do so."

"Then make a new rule for me. The rule will be: [All players that have placed a rule down themselves will be able to enter and exit the colonies at their own free will]."

This rule would make him alone capable of moving from colony to colony.

Unfortunately for Arai, Kogane had other plans.

"Denied. The rule is too one-sided towards you. We give you the counter-offer of letting one be able to do so like you said but they have to spend the next 24 hours in another colony."

Arai frowned when he heard this. 'They're limiting the travel of players? No, they're limiting the travel of the top players. I guess they don't want us to go around too fast for their little game. Whatever, that's fine by me.'

"Alright, I accept."

"[New Rule: All players that have placed a rule down themselves will be able to enter and exit the colonies at their own free will but have the need to spend every 24 hours in a colony.]" Kogane's voice was heard by everyone in the colonies.

In one of the two Tokyo colonies, there lay a man with electric sparks crackling around his body. His eyes looked down at the dead body in front of him. But when hearing this new rule, the sorcerer couldn't help but smile. He was Kashimo Hajime and unlike Sukuna and Kenjaku, he was from the Edo period.

"Someone put up a rule, huh. I should do the same." Kashimo looked up the rule with intrigue. He looked at Kogane, who displayed his 200 points.

"Kogane, make a new rule. [All players gain access to information on other players, such as their name, amount of points, number of rules added, and their current colony.]"

"New rule added! [All players gain access to information on other players, such as their name, amount of points, number of rules added, and their current colony.]"

Arai, who was just about to go head towards the exit of the colony, smiled. This new rule was perfect for him; he had wanted to head to another colony to find Itadori.

"Kogane, show information regarding the individual known as Itdori Yuji."

"Information regarding the individual known as 'Itadori Yuji' cannot be revealed as this individual is not a player."

'Sukuna is not a player? So he hasn't entered the games yet. I can't really know where he'd go, though I can make assumptions. He'd likely go to one of the Tokyo colonies since they're closer to him, but there's a chance he may go to another colony. I think right now, the safest choice would be to go to Kyoto since it's close enough to Tokyo and to the ones below them.'

Arai tried the same with all the individuals that he knew of, and the result ended in dissatisfaction. No one he knew was in the game.

'Are they not going to enter the colonies, or are they just making plans and haven't entered yet? No matter. I'm sure they'll split up and go to different colonies so me going to Kyoto is still my first destination.'

"Just you wait Sukuna; I'll have my revenge."
