'Will he really be here though?' I'm just sitting on a random bench watching people go back on forth.
'But I must say. These buildings in Florence are wonderfully made. The colours are vibrant and the design intricate.'
"Sir would you like to visit the Uffizi Gallery?"
I look to my side to see a young woman wearing a black suit with short black hair handing out posters.
I take one off her hands and scan through it. By the time I look up, the woman has moved on to another person. 'It doesn't seem like a bad place to start.' I look over the poster filled with children's drawings. 'This has manged to interest me anyway.'
Scene Change: Uffizi Gallery
'I must say all the paintings here a simply remarkable. Very realistic too.' I look to the painting on the left.
Flora
By Titian
A simple oil painting of a woman in a white gown.
I look it over for a second whilst moving my body to dodge a passer-by. 'Nice but a boring sight to the eyes.' I turn to look for more paintings until I happen across one that honestly reached my heart.
The Path Of Victory is The Path Of Death
By Amunaj
It's a man shrouded in completely black colours standing in the rain. Bodies of other people are all around him. The sky is a dark blue and no stars, sun and even a moon could be seen.
I simply stare at it for a while. Maybe a bit more than a while. More than I should have. Eventually, I just let out a sigh and carry on the next picture.
'That's basically just the Jujutsu world.' I keep looking around for more interesting paintings and checking the area for any residuals all the while.
Scene Change: Random Bench
'Nothing. This will clearly take a while.'
I'm on the same bench as before. The only difference is the darkened sky. I look up at the stars floating in space.
'Give me an idea. I just need to think harder!' I exert my brain to the limit. 'What can I do?' I stay there for a while until I come up with a rather genius plan. 'Instead of looking for his jujutsu residuals I should look for his human residuals!'
I pat myself on the back.
Sachi pov:
I watch as Unohana struggles against my fellow gardeners. "Aaaawww. How cute." Unohana tries to wack off the old woman's hand but it's already gone. "Truly a cutie." Another hand grabs her face and the cycle repeats.
'Now someone else can suffer. But that doesn't really matter though what does matter is the Yoshino Cherry.' I take a glance at said tree.
It's an elegant small tree with small pink-white flowers on it. 'It was planted the same month I was born in, which is April, and on the same year. Quite a coincidence.'
I keep looking at it for a while then turn my head only to see Unohana staring at me. I raise my eyebrow. She shrugs.
"What's the name of that tree?" She asks
"A Yoshino Chery." I respond. "It was planted about 12 years ago. Also on the same month I was born."
"Which is?"
"April. You?"
"September." She replies. I nod at her answer.
We simply stare at each other for a while until.
"Everyone it's time to show off the plants you grew!"
I stride forward and Unohana follows closely behind. All 12 of us sit down on the asphalt floor. "Now everyone show us your beautiful flowers."
I eye Jane after she says this. She gives me a glare in return. I cock my head towards Unohana. I can see her face thinking for a moment until a devious grin erupts on her face and she nods.
"I'm going to get my flower I the storage room." Everyone in the circle nods and whilst I leave, I hear them playing a game to guess the other's flower.
I quickly go in and out of the storage room and grab the Corpse Flower. I do my best to hide my smirk. I walk up to Unohana and hand her the covered flower. I nod for her to open.
I can see her face twitch as the disgusting smell enters her nose. She thrusts it back to me after barely 3 seconds.
I look up at her only to see her looking away to breath actual air. Eventually, she turns back. However, I'm a bit surprised.
"Not that much of a reaction. I'm a bit down now." She shrugs in response. We then go back to the circle.
After over an hour of each person talking about how they grew their flower and all facts they could get about it. I could tell Unohana was getting bored. The pit in my stomach grows wider.
After Gardening Event...
"Sorry." I say this during our walk down the street.
"For what?"
"About the gardening event. I saw you didn't seem too interested." I play with my hair whilst I wait for her response.
"Sorry if I didn't seem interested. I just..." She can't think of an excuse.
"It's all right." I see her open her mouth but then promptly shut it. We continue to walk in silence. The pit grows a bit deeper.
We keep walking in silence for a while until she suddenly stops still like a statue. "I'm going to...leave." Silently, I watch her go.
'Perhaps she sensed a curse or someone she knows. I'm a bit curious but what goes on with her doesn't concern me.' With a heavy heart I keep going no destination in mind. 'Am I a boring person?'
Unohana pov:
"I'm not late for training. Why are you here?" I ask my 'father' a simple question.
"You've been less focused on your training and you have been meeting someone haven't you?" Don't let it show. Don't let it show.
"Who could I possibly meet. I'm well aware both us lack actual friends." His eyes narrow like snakes. "My training has been going well. I don't see what there is to improve on."
"I decide whether you need to improve or not." He sneers at me as he says this. I don't make a sound. "We're going home." I quickly follow.
'That garden event was interesting but I just couldn't understand what all of you were talking about. It's not boring.' Even though, I know full well my thoughts will never reach Kagat. I still think as if they could.
I try to suppress the smirk on my face. 'I wonder what you'll do next but more importantly, I will find out why you don't have any cursed energy. This will be a fun game to play.' My face is a mouth splitting grin.
