Chapter 39: Evolution and love.

"Why are you here Satoru?" Bury your feelings. That's all you have to do.

"Your mentor told me about Megumi just before he kicked the bucket~" Toji told him so the Zenin Clan wouldn't get Megumi. 'Not like they can take him from me anyway.'

"You better train Megumi welllllllll. See ya, user of Heavenly Restriction." Thought as much. 'If he found me or Toji he would definitely find the other one.' I look up at the array of houses.

'I have enough space for four more. So let's meet the Zenin Clan. Can't belive I became aware of those two only after Toji's death. What a wasted opportunity.' I'm gone in an instant.

I manuver my way past the guards and phase in to Naobito's room.

"Don't you have the dec-"

"Shut up. Where are the twins?" Obviously, Naobito is surprised and he also seems pretty annoyed.

"I'm the head of this Clan which you are a part of, show respect!" I ignore his words. I walk closer to him but a blurring shadow leaps at me.

Splat!

'No idea who that was but now they're just a bloodstain on the wall.'

"I'm really not trying to threaten you or anything. I'm not angry over what happened last time. I'm just not in the mood now."

Naobito still has an arrogant expression but his eyes tell enough.

"You'll find them outside near the pit." Okay.

"Also where's Naoya?" Naobito raises an eyebrow.

"Who is Naoya?"

"Hey there~" They immediately back up a few steps. 'Maki and Mai right?'

"From today I am now your guardian. You may call me mother!" Mai's face cringes up massively. 'Too soon?'

I grab both off their heads and take them home. Pretty sure this is kidnapping but who cares? 'I do feel curious about Naoya though.'

One hour later...

'They shout too much, especially Mai, Maki was rather calm. I'm sure Hana can deal with it. Suguru also called me for something a while ago.'

"Hey Sachi." Yuki calls out to me. 'Damn. Suguru looks bad.'

"How would you create a world without curses?" Isn't it quite a simple thing? "My thoughts are...

1. Take away the cursed energy of everyone

"I've seen cases where people barely had cursed energy but he was the first. Since he had no cursed energy, he became much different from us and became a superhuman. Don't feel ashamed to lose to him." Yeah that's true.

I notice how Suguru's eyes glance at me for a moment. 'At least Yuki could hide it better.'

"If everyone was like him, the world would be too chaotic. So, I turned my head to the other idea. Make every non-sorcerer control their energy." That won't be possible. This time Suguru starts to talk.

"Then...considering what you're saying... can't we kill all non-sorcerers?" That's what I was thinking!

"That would- Sachi! What do you think?" This won't be too hard.

"If we were to kill all non-sorcerers, they'd probably just learn how to use cursed energy for survival."

"I was thinking the same thing! I'm sure they would evolve into sorcerers..and gotta go!" And she runs away to wherever. 'That's a lot of mASS.' Hehehaa.

I sit down on the bench.

"Have you lost weight Suguru?" He only mumbles in response.

"I think Satoru maybe could do it." Suguru looks at me. "You know about his eyes so if he made a vow and used his eyes to make a large amount of cursed energy to...y'know?"

"I get what you mean Sachi. You don't have to think at all." I really want to help Suguru with his dilemma. "Just tell me some other news."

"Well. I now have four kids! All adopted." He nods slowly and opens his cracked mouth though he closes it soon after. I drag him closer whilst laying my head on his chest.

I sigh.

"Suguru you are my best friend which means I love you and I don't want you to be hurt. In my eyes only two things can be done." I can tell he's listening closely.

"You must believe. Belive in humanity to grow and become better. In the past all they had was rocks and stones but look at them now!" I truthfully respect them.

"They made flying vehicles through science, they're making AI! Don't you understand! Humanity itself can still grow to better." Pace yourself Sachi.

"I think sorcerers exist to protect non-sorcerers but also to protect the future. If past sorcerers didn't do their job, you wouldn't be alive, even Satoru might not be here!" Okay. I've yappped enough.

"I...understand. You make...good points. Protecting the future isn't something I've thought about." Suguru looks a bit better.

"Glad I could help." And so I leave, feeling quite fulfilled.

"wait...kids?"

'What to do next?' Is what is was thinking until a crow pecked my neck.

"What is it Mei Mei? I'm not setting up another deal with you." She purses her lips in response.

"How could you assume such a mean thing about me darling? How is that axe coming along?"

"I need more time. 6 days or so." She nods happily.

"You're much faster than the others." She flexes her hips. "Discounts are always a nice gift?" No. She smiles, clearly understanding my expression.

She cuts the conversation short and we both head our separate ways.

Suguru will get better and Satoru will just do whatever. Shoko will just heal people and Unohana will play games. It sounds boring honestly.

'But having friends is what makes life more fun.'
