Three Years Later: Satoru Gojo
I'm sorry, Yaga. I finally understand it.
Why do I have to be the one to find a child? This was supposed to be someone else's job, but since I was one of the people who ended up fighting Toji, I suppose it's partly my responsibility.
The homeless man really dumped his child on teenagers.
After graduating a couple of years ago and becoming a special grade, I've been able to move around more without the damn higher-ups complaining.
It's because of my new position as a special grade and that I am currently the strongest person I know of. The only person who can stop me at this point is missing, and I don't know how they disappeared.
Naohiro Zenin.
The first year he went missing, I tried finding leads but ended up finding nothing. This Kenjaku guy is a complete unknown. Working with Tengen hasn't gotten me anywhere since; apparently, Kenjaku can swap bodies.
I've been busy as the only special-grade sorcerer in Japan because someone doesn't want to do their job, so I've been on and off searching for Kenjaku when I can. I find him, I find Naohiro.
With how I am now, I should be able to defeat my younger self easily, but in the end, I only know very little about Kenjaku.
Problem is.
After all this time, is Naohrio dead?
I shake my head.
No way.
He won't lose to anyone besides me.
...
Anyway, I've finally arrived at Saitama Municipal Urami East Junior High to see Toji's kid and bring him back to the Zenin clan.
Naohiro told me that if something happened to him, bring Toji's son to his brother Naoya when he awakens his cursed technique.
I ended up figuring out why.
The Ten Shadows.
The cursed technique tied with a Six Eyes limitless user. If nurtured, the technique's potential is astronomical.
It also apparently has a trump card that can rival some of the strongest sorcerers, given that the user wants to kill themselves.
...
After waiting around for a bit to make sure that I don't look like a creep, I see a kid who looks to be around 6-7 years old.
Ugh, he's the one.
I walk up to him. "You're Megumi Fushiguro, right?"
The kid turns around and has a monotone voice. "Who are you, and what is with that face?"
I fixed my face and pushed my glasses back up. "You just reminded me of your dad. Anyway, my name is Gojo, and I'm here to talk to you about your future."
Megumi gave me a deadpan stare. "Do I need to call the authorities?"
A tick mark appeared on my head. "You can see things that others can't, right? Your dad was from the Zenin clan, which makes you related to them. I came here because a good friend of mine, Naohiro Zenin, wants to invite you into the clan. Plus, your dad kinda dumped your responsibility on some teenagers since we kil-."
Megumi narrows his eyes. "I don't care about what he is doing. He has made it very clear that he doesn't want Tsumiki and me in his life."
Then, a girl stepped out onto a balcony to wave to Megumi.
I raise an eyebrow. "Are you really a six-year-old? Anyway, that's the gist. I came to invite you to join the Zenin clan. You'll have a lot of backing, especially since Naohiro and Naoya have a lot of influence in the clan. Naohiro is currently out of Japan, but you'll see him eventually."
He ends up turning around to look back at Tsumiki. "If I join the Zenin clan, will Tsumiki be happy?"
I give him a smile. "Absolutely. Naohiro and Naoya have already put the trash in their place. They are both good people and if you do not like living in the clan, you can always go back to living with your sister. I'll guarantee that."
He raises an eyebrow. "You can guarantee something like that?"
I tilt my glasses down to show him my eyes. "Of course, I'm the current strongest, after all."
Megumi scratched his hair. "You're weird, but I would like to know more about the monsters I see."
He then narrowed them threateningly. "Tsumiki will be happy, or else."
Don't laugh. Don't laugh. Don't laugh. Don't laugh. Don't laugh.
Composing myself, I reply. "*Cough* Yes, I'll keep my word that she'll be happy."
He seems to want to say something, but I ruffle his hair. "I'll be back tomorrow morning to take you over to the compound. Be ready by then."
*WOOSH*
Before he gets another word in, I teleport back to Jujutsu High.
...
A smile appears on my face. "*Pft* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
I like him already! He's my exact opposite!
Noticing someone looking over at me, I turn to see someone leaning against the wall with a cigarette in her mouth.
Shoko looks to the sky and puffs. "Welcome back. You kidnap the child?"
I recoil back. "Wha? It's called an invitation!"
She raises an eyebrow. "Oh yeah? How will that hold up in court?"
Scratching my hair, I sigh. "*Sigh* The kid was a pain in the ass, and he looks a lot like Toji, but since Naohiro wanted me to bring the kid in, I'll do him this favor."
Shoko flinched.
I glance at her. "Sorry, I have to talk to Naoya, so I'll see you around."
She flicks her cigarette and steps on it before leaving. "See ya."
Damn, even mentioning his name, she freaks out. She is supposed to be the next medical professional here, but she can't look at dead bodies without having a panic attack.
To confirm the blood and body parts at the scene were Suguru's, she was asked to identify them, which did horrible for her mental state.
This sucks.
Things were so much more fun...well, interesting is a better word for it, but it was better than this. Shoko's personality completely shifted. You wouldn't even think she was the same person.
Guess it's one more reason to look for Naohiro.
Now, then, let me check in on Naoya.
Clasping my hands together, I teleport to the Zenin compound training area, where a teenage Naoya can be seen monitoring the training of three kids.
Turning in my direction, he keeps his stern look.
I smile; he's trying so hard to look tough. "Yo, I just got back from inviting Toji's kid. I'll bring him here tomorrow."
Naoya nodded before turning back to the three kids. "I'll let the old man know. Thanks, by the way. I appreciate it."
I nod and teleport to the empty Gojo compound's training field.
Stretching my arms, I say to no one, "Time to train."
Naohiro
I don't know how long I've been in here since time doesn't flow inside the prison realm.
The thing that I do know is that I'm almost ready for everything this world will throw at me.
The abilities and breakthroughs I've had here make me want to run out there and see how I compare to others now.
I could see through the prison realm's eyes after being immune to its sealing properties.
Kenjaku put me thousands of meters underwater after dumping the prison realm in a subduction zone in the Japan Trench.
The dude really wants me to stay sealed.
It's too bad for him that I'm done here.
Now, it's about time for me to leave this thing.
I push myself through skeletons and the prison wall to have my body rapidly expand, and then I walk into nothing but water.
8000 meters of water pressure would be a death sentence for nearly anyone, but I'm built different.
People are going to be pissed, but there's no way I'm getting out of it.
...
I quickly shoot upwards.
