Chapter 26 : Capture The Curse User

Nana stood among the unknown debris on the ground. The hand holding Dojigiri was so stiff that it was difficult for her to let go. She had never experienced such a scene before. From childhood to adulthood, the most she had seen were cursed spirits as small as a fly's head. The cursed spirit in this curse user incident was the most threatening existence she had ever experienced.

Although these curse spirits are not strong at the moment, she still needs to kill them one by one. Unlike the last time, when she only injured the opponent and forced the enemy back, the visual effect of blood and flesh flying on the spot is still very shocking to Nana.

Genichi, who was standing aside, hardly made any move. After clearing the curse spirits, the door in the corridor was no longer open. Genichi tried to walk toward the dark end in front of him, but the corridor seemed to have no end. The thick black mass that was not far away was always in front of Genichi.

Nana, who was standing in the same place, disappeared from sight behind. Then, Genichi thought for a moment and continued to move forward. Not long after, two figures appeared in the darkness in front. Nana was holding the Dojigiri, and the White Wolf was squatting beside her.

Hearing the footsteps behind him, Nana turned around in surprise: "Genichi-kun, weren't you in front? Why are you coming from behind?"

Genichi did not answer Nana immediately but directly activated the technique. Then, like a ghost in the cracks of time, he walked forward and backward. The result was still the same. Every time, he would see Nana again in front of him.

After returning to the original place, Genichi released the technique. He felt Nana's eyes blurred, and he looked at Genichi. It seemed that he was standing in a different place from before. Before he had time to think about it, he heard Genichi say: "This curse domain is a ring-like structure. No matter where you go, you will return to the original place."

Upon hearing this, Nana made a suggestion: "What about these doors? If the corridor is a ring, where do the doors on both sides lead to?"

Genichi walked to a nearby door: "This is exactly what I will try next. I will open it. Be alert."

After saying that, Genichi turned the doorknob. Genichi, who was ready to face the danger, did not see any curse behind the opened door but saw his own back.

Genichi suddenly turned around and opened the door behind him. As expected, he saw his own back again. Moreover, the two selves on both sides were not entities created by the curse. This feeling was more like looking in a mirror, except that the mirror image on the opposite side was not facing him.

Nana also came over and looked at the scene in surprise. She turned her head back and forth, her mind obviously confused. Genichi thought for a moment, then let her stand in the middle. He backed away from her and walked towards the door behind him.

So, in Genichi's vision, he saw that the "self" behind the door opposite was also retreating until he entered the corridor where he was just now. The self on the opposite side gradually retreated and finally touched Nana, who was standing in the same place. Genichi also felt the touch from behind.

"A space folding? These two doors are actually connected. Crossing one side is equivalent to arriving at the other side, and what you see is actually just an illusion?"

"So, what will happen if we leave the door opposite open?"

Thinking of this, Genichi decided to give it a try. It was like putting two mirrors facing each other. Theoretically, the images inside would be endless after multiple reflections. However, due to the angle and other reasons, as well as the loss of light propagation, people would only see a dark image in the mirror.

What about these curse spirits? If the door is left open, how many "mirrors" can it create?

"Click."

Genichi pushed open the door in front of him and saw the back of Nana again, as expected. From Nana's perspective, as the doors opened one after another, she also saw Genichi appearing one after another.

I saw another White Wolf of my own move curiously, then turn around in a circle, and then I saw more than a dozen white wolves turning around in sync.

As Genichi repeatedly opened the door, Nana kept seeing Genichi running past her. Then, her vision would expand a little.

"Too slow, let's try it a little more first."

[The Wheel of Time: Turn]

Genichi ran as fast as he could. Genichi drifted past like a ghost and looked almost invisible. In an instant, this strange scene extended beyond the limit of vision. Then, the sound of something breaking was heard, and a part of the "line" suddenly disappeared.

Genichi looked at the disappearing scene. Although it was quickly reconnected, he still sighed and said, "One thousand three hundred and sixty-four, is this the limit? I wanted to see if I could really achieve an infinite loop..."

He turned to Nana, who was standing beside him, and said, "Get ready. I'm going to break through here."

"ah..."

As soon as Gen Nainai stood up, she saw Genichi's figure in front of her blurry. Some distorted and harsh sound rang out, and everything around her began to collapse.

Nana felt like she was standing on a rag that was being tightened over and over again. In a moment of distraction, the ceiling was already on her left.

Then she felt dizzy and was about to fall towards the wall below, and then a hand stretched out from mid-air and grabbed her arm.

Grabbing Nana with one hand and lifting the White Wolf with the other, Genichi jumped in the air and activated the technique instantly. Then, he freed his hands to take the Zenith bow, pulling the string and concentrating the arrow in one go.

Then he shot out a blue streak of cursed energy in the air, blasting a gap in the twisting corridor. Genichi brought Nana and the dog back with him and then lifted the technique.

Then Genichi jumped out of the gap with the screaming Nana and the White Wolf, who echoed her screams. The scene in front of them changed, and they returned to the school corridor where they had started.

As soon as Genichi put down Nana and White Wolf, he heard the whistling sound of wind behind him. When he turned around, a huge piece of broken wall had fallen in front of him.

"Bang!"

With a loud bang, Genichi punched the nearly one-person-high broken wall into egg-sized pieces. Under his deliberate control of the cursed energy, these pieces flew to both sides and the front.

Looking at the tumors pouring out of a gap in the sky, Genichi said to the frightened Nana: "Take White Wolf out of this building first."

Nana then picked up the White Wolf and handed the Dojigiri to Genichi, then turned around and jumped out of the window in the corridor.

This tumor monster soon struggled to reveal its entire body, and the surrounding stairs and walls were immediately torn apart by its huge body.

"It's a good thing we settled the bill, otherwise it would be hard to deal with it later."

This monster has six frog-like limbs, a big mouth with fangs on its face, and a thick tail similar to that of a reptile in the back half of its body.

Genichi did not immediately activate the technique. Looking at the ugly man in front of him, he could not help but sigh: "These curse spirits... are really more disgusting than the other. Those that meet the public's aesthetic standards are extremely rare."

While complaining, Genichi rushed towards him and held Dojigiri...

Nana jumped to the ground outside and breathed a sigh of relief when he heard a series of explosions. Looking back, he saw large pieces of glass in the main teaching building shattered simultaneously.

Then, a wall as big as three floors was smashed into pieces by a huge object in an instant. A figure flew out from the rising smoke. It was Genichi with some purple-black liquid on his body.

The cursed spirit's entire appearance was bathed in moonlight. A closer look revealed that its two limbs on the left side had been severed at the root, and there was a long wound on its chest, revealing the wriggling flesh and blood inside.

"Woof!"

The White Wolf beside Nana suddenly roared, and the sound awakened her. From the corner of her eye, she saw a shadow jumping out from the blind spot.

Just as Nana was about to defend herself, she felt a sharp pain in her abdomen, and then an object like a rope strangled her neck and upper body.

"That little brat over there! Throw the knife in your hand over here if you don't want her to die!"

As soon as Genichi landed on the ground, he looked over and saw a gloomy-faced man who had subdued Nana. She was tied up by a strange fish as long as a rope, and the White Wolf beside her was also dragged by a toad as big as a millstone.

Behind him was the huge cursed spirit rushing towards him, and there were threats from enemies in front and behind, but Genichi smiled: "You want this? Here, give it to you!"

Seeing Genichi raising the knife to throw at him, the curse user relaxed a little, but a strange feeling rose in his heart...

"Why... does it hurt so much? Where are my hands... and my feet?"

The curse user gradually fell to the ground and thought helplessly. The pieces of the fish-shaped body that fell on his face slowly dissipated. The pain overwhelmed his last consciousness, and he left behind one last thought: "I've been fooled..."

Genichi appeared behind the curse user and held Dojigiri, looking at the curse user lying on the ground without limbs. After thinking for a while, he used the reversal technique to slightly treat the wounds on his limbs, chest, and abdomen so that he would not die soon. He still had something to ask him...

To put it simply, Genichi first cast the technique on the thrown Dojigiri, then pierced through the curse user's body, removed the technique from Dojigiri and cast it on himself again.

After pulling out the sword, he chopped off the limbs of the curse user and the two cursed spirits he summoned. Why was it so troublesome to separate it into two steps?

Isn't this the last mercy given to him by Genichi, who is good at satisfying other people's demands? Since he wants the sword, he should give it to him. Unfortunately, he didn't take it...

"Oh... there's another one. You're quite interesting, but unfortunately, your level is not high enough. If you had a special grade, it would be quite strong..."

With one hand, he formed a seal with his fingers raised, then activated the technique again, stepped on the big guy, and jumped onto his head. Then, Genichi leaped in the air, reflected the moonlight, and cast a beautiful scene.

A line of blood suddenly appeared from the head to the bottom of the body of the giant cursed spirit. Then it suddenly split in the middle amid its wailing. Due to the width of its body, it did not split directly into two halves, and some parts were still connected at the back.

Looking at the dying guy, Genichi decided to be a good person and cut off his head with a knife to exorcise him.
