Chapter 27: Training

After Sukuna ended his twisted explanation, the room fell into an uneasy silence. His voice had faded, but the malice hung heavy in the air, almost tangible. I could feel the tension pressing down on my shoulders, and I wasn't the only one.

Principal Yaga stood there for a moment, his eyes fixed on me but his thoughts clearly somewhere else. He had the look of a man who had just been forced to swallow something bitter. Finally, he broke the silence.

"I really hate that guy," he muttered under his breath, almost as if he was speaking to himself rather than to anyone else in the room.

Gojo, always quick to catch the mood, chuckled lightly, though his smile didn't quite reach his eyes this time. "Join the club, Yaga," he said. "I think it's safe to say none of us are big fans of the King of Curses."

Principal Yaga didn't respond immediately. He just nodded slightly, the corners of his mouth turning down even further. I could tell he was thinking hard, maybe about the implications of what Sukuna had just revealed, or maybe about the next steps we needed to take. Either way, the weight of responsibility seemed to settle even more heavily on his shoulders.

Turning to Gojo, Yaga finally spoke up, his voice a bit gruff but steady. "Gojo, I will be leaving now," he said. "There's a lot to consider and even more to plan for. I need to get back and start making some arrangements. We can't afford to sit idle, not with all of this hanging over our heads."

Gojo nodded, his expression turning serious. "Understood, Principal. I'll stay here for a bit longer and make sure Yuji's alright. We'll need to keep a close eye on him… and Sukuna, for that matter."

Principal Yaga glanced at me, his eyes softening a bit. "Yuji, take care of yourself," he said. "And remember, you're not alone in this. We're all doing our best to figure things out."

I nodded, trying to muster a smile. "Thanks, Principal Yaga," I said. "I'll do my best."

With that, Principal Yaga turned and headed for the door. He moved with purpose.

"What should I do next?" I asked to Gojo.

Since the news about my death has know to both Megumi and Nobara, I need to ask Gojo, what is the next plan like are we going to meet them or something.

But for some reason, I have a feeling that I won't meet them for a while.

And just like I have expected, Gojo said.

"Well, there's going to be a Goodwill Event in a month or two. And before that, I'm going to train you. Hard. We're going to make sure you're ready for whatever comes next. Besides, it's about time we took your skills to the next level, don't you think?"

I blinked,Training with Gojo was never easy, but it was always effective. "So... you're saying we're going to be doing some intense training?" I asked, trying to keep up with his rapid-fire change of plans.

"Intense?" Gojo echoed with a laugh. "Oh, Yuji, you have no idea. We're going to push you to your limits and then some. I've got a few tricks up my sleeve that I think you'll find... enlightening."

"Alright then, Gojo-sensei. I'm ready when you are."

"That's the spirit," Gojo said, his grin broadening. "Now, get some rest. You're going to need it. Training starts bright and early tomorrow, and I promise, it's going to be a blast."

Yes, I know it will.
