Jujutsu kaisen: I'm Armaros

The story follows Armaros a female knight who died at battlefield but gets reincarnated as a cursed spirit in world of Jujutsu kaisen. --- English is not my first language. I don't own anything but MC and things I might add. The story won't be my main objective as long as I don’t finish or drop my other fanfictions so might not be updated for now.

Chapter 6 - I'm going to help

(MC POV)

Sakuta stared at me, clearly in disbelief at what I had said, but I didn't care about his opinion. "Okay... Armaros, while I'd like to help you with whatever problem you have, I can't do so right now."

Grabbing his arm and pulling him closer, I whispered into his ear. "And why is that? It doesn't seem like you have anything else to do. Or is it because... you're embarrassed?" Smiling teasingly, I let go of his arm and moved back a little.

A slight blush appeared on his face, though his eyes remained calm as he responded, "I... I really do have things to do, like going home to take care of my little sister now that school's over. Besides, who normally puts themselves in such strange situations? It's not every day people ignore a beautiful woman as if she were invisible."

My smile grew wider as I asked, "So you think I'm beautiful? Fufu, I didn't know you were such a flirt, Sa~ku~ta."

Unexpectedly, he didn't react as I expected. Instead, he shamelessly replied, "I do find you very beautiful. So much so that I find it extremely difficult to believe anyone could think otherwise."

It seems he has a thick skin, but... the small blush still lingers. Fufu.

Oh well, it's nice to talk so freely with someone. It wasn't something I could do on the battlefield, where everyone was always so serious.

I opened my mouth and said, "So you won't help this beauty who's in need, hmm? It seems I will forever be invisible to others... alone..."

A little lie should be enough to make him think twice before deciding, and... even if it's not, I can always follow him until he agrees to help me.

The blush on Sakuta's face immediately disappeared, replaced with a serious expression, clearly showing his struggle to make a decision. But a quick glance at me made him relent. "I'm going to help you, Armaros. So, let me ask—do you have anywhere to stay?"

Shaking my head, I replied with a playful wink, "I don't, but if this junior would let me stay at his house, I'd be very grateful."

He really is special. My 'Eternal Appearance' has very little effect on him; otherwise, it would have made him agree the moment we started talking. Let me see more of your uniqueness, Sakuta.

Speechless, he started walking away, but not before agreeing. "Well, let's go to my house. My sister must already be worried about why it's taken me so long."

Fufu, I'm curious how his sister will react to him talking to himself. Or perhaps she's special too? I'll find out soon enough.

Walking beside him, I looked over and said, "Well, let's not make your sister wait any longer, Sa~ku~ta."

We then continued toward his house, which would probably be my home for more than just one night.

Thirty minutes later, we stood in front of an apartment, just as he had said. As we climbed the stairs, I asked him, "So, could you tell me something about this place? I ask because my problem isn't just being invisible to others, but also the lack of memories."

A look of realization crossed his face when I said this. He must have remembered how I'd looked around curiously at some things and asked what they were. He had been confused before, but now it made sense.

Looking at me—not just with the lust every man has, but with an appreciation of my beauty and a hint of pity—he replied, "That explains a lot. Well, let's start with the fact that we're in a country called Japan. This country values its culture and traditions."

As he explained more, I absorbed the information, understanding some of it. By the time he finished, we were at the door of his apartment.

Using his keys, he opened the door and finally stepped inside, calling out, "I'm home, Kaede."

Within seconds, a petite, innocent-looking girl came out in her pajamas, her expression a mix of annoyance and relief, the kind that makes people want to protect her.

She huffed softly, her expression easing as she asked, "Ni-sama, why did you take so long? Don't you know how worried I was?"

Sakuta looked a little guilty as he replied, "I'm sorry, Kaede. I was helping someone."

As he said this, he glanced at me from the corner of his eye.

Spreading his arms, he said, "Come here, Kaede," before hugging and comforting her.

While he did that, I discreetly absorbed the negative emotions in the room, making me want to moan, but I held back.

It also seems she can't see me, unlike her brother. So, his uniqueness isn't hereditary.

Watching them hug, I wandered into the kitchen, not denying my inner glutton some of the food from this world.

Inside, I found some cookies and the refrigerator, which I had previously named the ChillBox, but thanks to Sakuta, I now knew its proper name.

I grabbed a cookie and started biting into it slowly. As I took a bite, I heard the pleasing crunch, followed by the sweet taste of chocolate.

The cookies, and all the food I've eaten so far, are delicious. Is this heaven disguised as rebirth? The only regret I might have now is not being able to share this food with my comrades. But considering that I was reborn, I hope the others also got a chance at a new life.

Looking at my now empty hand, I thought, 'Oh, the cookies are gone.'
