Jujutsu Kaisen: Divergence

Bored with his life, a man wishes to reincarnate in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen as Fushiguro Megumi. He had some cheats to back him up and change the course of the plot. He doesn't care what his actions might cause in the plotline since his primary goal is to live an interesting and eventful life. **** A/N: - Harem: Yes, but members are undecided. I maybe can go solo romance as well. Is the protagonist strong? Yes, to the point that he can defeat a mob Special grade from Chapter Third. Is there Ntr, Yaoi, or Yuri? Strictly, no. I hate those shits. Any question will be answered once the first review drops by. Happy reading~

Chapter 4- Dominance?

Megumi remained in his room for some more time, trying to settle down his fuzzy mind and get a grip on himself.

Gojo Satoru just walked in, asked Megumi to take care of his team and vanished using his teleportation.

Seeing someone manipulating space with such fluency made Megumi raise his brows. Without even trying to touch the man, Megumi could feel the physical distance Gojo had from the rest of the world, thanks to the infinity he was always enshrouded in.

Megumi wasn't a battle junkie, neither he was in his last life nor did he adopt such a trait back in goddess sanctuary so even though he stood near the current strongest of the Jujutsu world, Megumi felt no sense of repulsion or urge for battle.

"Well...I hope I don't need to fight him any time soon... " Megumi sighed as he straightened his back and went to the washroom.

He needed to fix his hair first.

*Yawn*

While scratching his hair and a sleepy face currently wearing him down, a pink-haired young man walked down the hallway of his new resident toward the open ground.

Itadori Yuji has recently shifted to the Jujutsu High and has already gotten accustomed to this place. He does like the city and the exquisite ambiance it offers but this serenity wasn't bad for a change either.

"Ah, Fushiguro? What are you doing so early in the morning?" Despite already being aware, Yuji couldn't help asking the guy whom he met some days ago yet they already were best buddies.

Megumi brought his staff to a halt before he turned to look at the protagonist for the first time after he transmigrated into this world.

'There's no presence of him at all... ' The 'him' here was none other than the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna who currently was a part of Itadori Yuji.

The resilience of the pink head was enough to completely suppress Sukuna's curse energy. It was ridiculous to think about.

"Some light training. "

"Hoh...can I join?" Megumi's hand came to a halt and he was about to swing the staff in an arch when he heard the guy.

"You don't know how to use a weapon, right?"Megumi looked over his shoulder before asking.

"Just casual swinging and slashing...I can land some punches tho... " Mimicking the boxing stances, Itadori showcased his nimble movements and strong punches in the empty air.

Megumi knew that Itadori was stronger than a normal teen even though he still didn't know much about curse energy and such. Kudos to the great Gojo-sensei who teaches mostly nothing theoretically.

If not for Sukuna, Itadotri might never be able to use Curse energy. The only chance the protagonist had to become the focus of the story stems from the fact that his mother, or to say the being possessing her body did have innate skills.

However, until the point Megumi read the manga in his past life, Itadori didn't show any sign of possessing any curse energy after Sukuna switched bodies.

Fighting him as of now is certainly useless until he doesn't go through the training arc. So rather Megumi chose a better option to assess his strength.

"Let's do arm wrestling... "

Yuji's movement came to a halt as he heard his friend before he eagerly agreed and plopped down near the stairs and turned his body to the right.

Megumi sat beside him with his upper half turned in Yuji's direction as both boys clasped each other hands in a tight grip.

"Don't take it personally if you lose, alright? " Itadori flashed a cocky grin even though his arm already began pouring strength against Megumi's grip.

Megumi didn't say anything and with a solemn look maintained his arm perfectly in place.

'He's strong... ' Megumi already acknowledged since the strength Itadori was applying through his hold might snap any power lifter's bone easily.

His curiosity piqued as to what was the limit of Yuji's strength but before he could push the boy any further, a feminine yet rough voice tore their focus.

"What idiots...is this new way of determining dominance? " Turning his head, Megumi was greeted with the face he still remembers vividly, not from this life but his previous one.

Short hazelnut hair with a tired look currently adorning her moderately good-looking face as the girl, Kugusaki Nobara, walked toward the two while wearing her tracksuit.

Megumi didn't reply to her before he detached his arm from Yuji's and got up.

"Morning. " To not come out rude, he greeted the girl before he went to have a long run. He still wasn't getting the feel of his new body and needed some time to become accustomed to his flesh and bones.

"What's up with him... " Nobara frowned slightly at the cold response from her new associate as she saw Megumi jogging around the track with steady strides.

"What are you talking about? " Itadori asked, as he got up from the stairs and stood beside the girl while following Megumi with his eyes.

Nobara wasn't too familiar with Megumi so she didn't bother on the matter and considered this Megumi's usual behavior.

"What you two were doing anyways? Asserting who's stronger? " By built, there wasn't much difference between the two from Nobara's perception but she have seen Yuji's strength in their previous excursion.

However, hearing his following words made the girl slightly startled, "I was exerting almost double the strength of what I applied in breaking that wall...yet... I wasn't able to budge Fishuguro's arm even a bit. "

The statement might have shocked Nobara but Yuji's eyes were beaming with admiration as he spoke under his breath, "He really is a person worth learning from. "

While running around the track, Megumi's mind was occupied by the thoughts of upcoming events of the special grade curse.

He checked the calendar and found it set for July which meant the event was going to happen soon. And the fact Gojo Satoru was on a trip was no coincidence either.

He couldn't crush the curse womb beforehand since from what Megumi remembers, the womb appeared hours before the trio(Megami, Yuji, and Nobara) arrived at the scene.

He didn't particularly care about those people who were about to die by the Special-grade since they were criminals who were about to be killed and he wouldn't earn any Karma points either from it.

But the problem remains in the fact that Megumi hasn't fought any curses after his transmigration at all. He indeed has faced the opponent that were beyond any Special-grade but still, the actual experience was required.

'Should I look for a curse in the city...? '
