A worker of jujutsu came to get her taking her away.

"Megumi, Nobara, Azure... We have to save him!" Yuji said.

"Of course," Nobara said.

Azure nodded his head while Megumi stayed silent.

The four were about to enter the building as Ichiji told them something.

"I'm going to lower the curtain. Be careful and good luck."

"Emerge from darkness, blacker than darkness. Purify that which is impure."

"hm.." Azure voiced as he watched black glob go around the whole detention center.

"It's turning into night!" Yuji said looking at the sky.

"It's because of the curtain. The residential area is nearby so it acts as a barrier to hide us from the outside," Megumi said.

"If the curse gets close it'll let us know," Megumi said talking about his cursed spirit.

Yuji petted the dog.

The four went inside the building to see it a huge area with multiple floors and small windows where rooms were.

"What's going on here?! This is supposed to be a two-story dorm building, right?!" Yuji exclaimed.

"C-c-calm down! It's a maisonette!" Nobara told him.

"..." Megumi looked at his surroundings in surprise.

'The original domain expanded due to cursed energy. I've never seen one so big!' Megumi thought,

A huge noise came from behind the group making them quickly look back.

"The door?!" Megumi exclaimed.

they looked to see the exit was blocked with with multiple poles.

"The door is gone! How?! we just come from there!" Yuji exclaimed.

"You got this?" Megumi asked his spirit as it nodded.

"What to do? What to do?"

"Hey, hey! what to do?" Yuji and Nobara looked around.

Azure just watched the two who were acting a bit off.

"we're good, we can track the scent of the exit," Megumi told the group.

"That's a good doggy!" Yuji hugged the spirit.

"Beef jerky! bring all the jerky you got!" She exclaimed at Azure.

"Hey! Stay sharp!" Megumi told the two.

"You're so reliable, Megumi," Yuji said making Azure nod in agreement.

"You've saved a lot of people. Including me!"

Megumi contemplated what he said for a moment before telling the three to go in further.

"Let's go."

As the three entered a bigger room they saw, a boy split in half lying on the floor as two balled-up bodies lay next to him.

"Ugh..." Azure voiced in disgust looking at the bodies.

"That's brutal... are those three over there people?" Megumi asked.

Yuji went over to the split in half body looking at his name tag.

"We're bringing this body back," Yuji said.

"What?" Azure asked.

"It's that lady's son. his face isn't that messed up.."

"But..." Azure began to say.

"She's not going to be satisfied if we just tell her that he son is dead," Yuji said.

Megumi went up to Yuji grabbing his jacket.

"We have to confirm that the other two are dead. Leave him," he told Yuji.

"Every time we look back, the path is different. How're we gonna get back here?" Yuji asked.

"I never said 'we'll come back' I said 'leave him'," Megumi scrunched his face at Yuji.

"He's not even worth saving alive. Why would I save his dead body?" Megumi said.

Yuji grabbed Megumi's jacket.

"What're you talking about?" Yuji said getting angry.

"Hey..." Nobara began to say trying to deescalate the situation.

"This is a juvenile detention center. We jujutsu sorcerers receive all sorts of information about a location before infiltrating. This guy was driving without a license and hit a girl who was walking home from school. That was his second time driving without a license," Megumi said making Yuji step back a little.

"You always want to save as many people as possible... And focus on going out with a normal death. But who's to say that someone won't kill someone in the future?"

"Then why... Did you save me?!" Yuji yelled.

"Hey. Knock it off you two," Azure said seriously.

"Y-yeah.." Nobara said surprised by Azure's tone as she hadn't heard him like that before.

"A-anyways this isn't the time or the..." Nobara began to say as she walked up to the two, but she began falling into a black hole.

*SPLOOT

"No..bara...?" yuji said as he watched her disappear.

'It can't be my divine dog should be...' Megumi thought as he looked at his spirit to see his head stuck in the wall.

"Azure! Itadori! Run! We'll look for Kugisaki after we get away!" Megumi yelled to the two before being eye to eye with the curse.

'There's no mistake– it's a special grade!' Azure thought as we watched looked at the curse breaking a sweat.

'I can't move!' Megumi thought.

'Move. Move. Move. Move. Move...' Yuji thought but he couldn't move a muscle.

with the speed of light, the curse was now face to face with Yuji

"Ngh!!" Yuji exclaimed as he took out his weapon aiming for the curse head

*VRRSSHHH

"Arrrgghh!!!"

*GLOP

Azure looked at the ground to see Yuji's sword on the ground followed by his hand.

'Wha-?!'

"Wait! Where am I? it's so dark I can't see any..." Nobara said as he was in pitch blackness.

'I sense... a Curse!! How... many?!' She thought as she turned around to see lots of huge faces and eyes looking at her.
