Special Grade Tengu Spirit

Timeskip 

A Week later

P.O.V Yuichiro

I was sitting in the backseat of a car with a woman named Akari Nitta driving me towards my current 'mission' , a mission that was supposed to be given to Gojo,  but since Gojo would be busy dealing with other curses outside of Tokyo he gave me the one that wasn't close far from the other first years first mission.

Looking out the window I thought back to Gojo's warning just before he left.

Flashback

Taking a break from sparring with Gojo-sensei I asked him a question, "Hey Gojo-sensei I heard from Yuji that they're going on their first mission tomorrow… when do you think i'll get my first mission as well?"

Gojo looked at me through his blindfold and answered in that same playful tone I got used to hearing "You'll also be going on your first mission tomorrow." 

Looking at him surprised, "Wait, so does that mean I'm going on the same mission with Yuji and the other two?"

Shaking his head Gojo answered, "Nope im giving you one of the missions that were supposed to be given to me." When Gojo saw me looking at him with a dead expression he clarified.

"C'mon have some faith in your sensei~, I wouldn't send you on a mission I don't think you're ready for~."

Looking at him a bit more I sighed before giving up. I could never understand what he's thinking. Getting up to look for Yuji and tell him that I also had a mission, one separate from them I heard Gojo's voice behind a bit more serious than before. "Also just a warning I only get sent on missions dealing with special grades… So have fun~." 

Sighing again at his antics I went to find Yuji and tell him about my mission.

End Flashback

While I was thinking back on the fact that I most likely have to fight my first special grade we arrived at an abandoned indoor swimming pool.

Akari Nitta stepped out of the car before walking up to me and asking, "Seeing as Gojo sent you on this mission that was supposed to be his, I'm gonna assume you know about the different grades of curses?"

Still looking forward towards the abandoned indoor pool I answered "Yeah he told me the curse in there is a Special Grade, told me I was ready for it." After I said that she shook her head and sighed, probably thinking how irresponsible Gojo-sensei was. 

"If he thinks you're ready then I won't fight him on it. I'll set up a curtain." As she said that, I started walking towards the abandoned place and as I Was walking I heard her chant.

"Emerge from the darkness, blacker than darkness. Purify that which is impure"

When she finished chanting a black gooey like substance began to fall from the sky and surround the area where the Indoor pool was held. 

Walking in what I was greeted to wasn't an indoor pool that was dirty but rather I was standing on an ocean filled with typhoons and a storm cloud above us.

P.O.V THIRD

As Yuichiro was looking around amazed he suddenly disappeared and reappeared a few feet away in the air looking at the spot he was just standing as a Bolt of lightning struck. When the lightning dissipated what stood there was what looked like a Tengu wearing samurai armor just standing there looking directly at him.

As soon as his feet touched the water the Tengu curse was already in front of him, its fist stretched to hit him. Yuichiro, knowing that he couldn't dodge quickly, made a hand sign activating his technique.

When the Tengu's cursed spirit fist passed through him he jumped back and took his chokuto out from his Kamui, the cursed spirits not deterred by the fact its fist went right through him and doing no damage, instead rushed towards Yuichiro once again.

Yuichiro seeing that the tengu cursed spirit running towards him channeled CE through the chokuto and when lightning covered the blade, he ran and met the curse spirit mid way and clashed with it. 

After a few clashes Yuichiro jumped back because he noticed something, 'My sword didn't do any damage?! Even with the lightning which is supposed to make things easier to slice and pierce!' He thought as he started to doubt if he could win. 

 But that wasn't all that surprised him, the Tengu Curse spirit was now aiming a lightning arrow at him and shot it, Yuichiro once again quickly activated Kamui and let the lightning arrow pass through him setting off a huge explosion behind him.

Not taking his eyes off the curse but feeling the wind pressure that came after the explosion Yuichiro widened his eyes as a bead of sweat rolled down his cheek, "Gojo-sensei really thinks I can win against this?" He asked himself quietly.

As he was contemplating the curse took this chance and moved once again appearing in front of Yuichiro who eyes widened even more as the curse sent a straight to his abdomen, Yuichiro knowing he had no time to dodge, block, or use Kamui. 

Reinforced his body with as much CE as he could and yet even with that it still hurt like hell. Yuichiro was sent flying, skipping over the water before slowly skidding to a stop.

Yuichiro laid there for a second before he shakily got up on all fours and threw up everything he had that morning. After he was finished throwing up everything in his stomach he shakily stood up seeing the Tengu like curse spirit dashing at him at astonishing speeds.

Yuichiro's legs were shaking as he thought, 'Am I gonna die here?' As he thought that multiple images came into his mind first it was Yuji, then it was Megumi, then Nobara, then Gojo-sensei as the curse was now on a few meters away from him.

Time seemed to slow down for Yuichiro as he thought about all his friends and the fact that he would be letting Gojo down if he died on a mission that he deemed ready for. Closing his eyes Yuichiro's shaking stopped and he sent his Chokuto into his Kamui he reinforced his body with CE and opened his eyes seeing the curse spirit's right fist in front of his face.

Yuichiro dodged his head to the left and threw a right hook of his own...… It landed. The cursed spirit flew back a few meters before stopping and looked back up to Yuichiro who's eyes were glowing a bit. Yuichiro rushed towards the cursed spirit and to the Tengu curse covered in armor Yuichiro was a bit of a blur.

Yuichiro came in with a punch to it's chest which sent it flying back further but Yuichiro didn't let up he chased down the Curse and hit this time in the face while it was upside down sending it flying even further to there original spot.

Seeing the curse fly back further Yuichiro didn't stop, he only had one goal...and that was to win. When skidding to a stop the Curse spirit looked up and saw that Yuichiro was still a meter away from it so it was about to control the sea when all of a sudden Yuichiro appeared right in front of it right arm rearing back, and when Yuichiro's punch hit the Tengu Curse.

Black sparks appeared, but that wasn't the end before the Tengu curse could even hit the water again. Yuichiro was there with a spinning kick...…and was once again accompanied by black sparks. This happened two more times before Yuichiro once again appeared before the curse could land in a stance with his left hand covering his right fist, when Yuichiro threw this punch something crazy happened.

You see when fighting this curse Yuichiro noticed something like with his sword regular reinforced punches while causing cracks in the armor they immediately healed up so when he first landed that black flash a thought came to his mind.

When Gojo brought him to other places where curses were which were always first and second grade curses they never exploded like the very first curse he exorcised did then he realized, in that split second when his CE spiked just as he hit the curse spirit added extra power to it.

So he was about to attempt to do the same to this curse, when the Tengu curse was in front of him he sent out a straight right punch and just as his fist was about to connect he sent a burst of Cursed energy through it resulting in a devastating effect. The Tengu curse's whole torso exploded sending its head upward and its arms in opposite directions.

The Tengu curse incomplete domain shattered, letting Yuichiro free fall into the dirty, grimy, smelly pool water, but before he could touch it he disappeared and reappeared outside the building scaring Akari Nitta who was waiting for him.

Looking at him, she saw that he had a couple bruises but other than that he looked fine, "I assume that the curse was exorcised?" She asked.

"Yeah that curse was no joke, even one of those domain thingies Gojo-sensei mentioned!"

 Akari was shocked at what she just heard and looked at Yuichiro closely and thought, 'He fought and exorcised a special grade curse in its own domain, and only managed to come out with a few bruises?! Now I can see why Gojo gave him his mission! This kids a monster!' Yuichiro interrupted her thoughts.

"Hey do you think instead of going back to the school we can go where Yuji and the others are?" Yuichiro asked, wanting to see if Yuji and others needed help.

Akari only nodded her head still not quite getting over the fact he beat a special grade curse in its own domain and got in the car. Yuichiro got in the backseat and thought back to the fight with the tengu curse.

'I doubted myself, questioned if I could even win, and because of that I was sloppy even though I was physically faster and stronger than it, but what was that? Those black sparks, they not only made my punches stronger but also cleared up my mind. Hell, it even allowed me to 'unlock' a new function with Kamui, I can teleport!' 

As they were driving towards The other first year's mission Yuichiro started to have a bad feeling. 'I have a bad feeling about this, lets just hope that they're alright' 

Meanwhile with Megumi

'Yuji' pulls his own heart and says "I'm gonna take this brat hostage!"
