In the small town, the group lingered for a few more days but, still finding nothing, Liu Sisi then headed to the next small town.

Just as they left the small town not far behind, Liu Sisi's party brushed past a troop of carriages and horses.

Liu Sisi was riding in a carriage with the curtains originally open. When she noticed the approaching soldiers were numerous, she let down the curtains and urged everyone to pull over to let the officers and soldiers pass first.

Right after Liu Sisi lowered the carriage curtain, Ah-Niu and Fan Ying, in the midst of a conversation, walked right past Liu Sisi's carriage.
