Declare War

"What is it?"

A deep and powerful voice from the other side asked.

Ein "Sir, we have a problem"

Ein went straight to the point, as he knows the man on the other side doesn't like to beat around the bushes.

"What problem?"

The man on the other side asks.

Ein "Sir, someone infiltrated our main base in Alola and captured it. We lost the cry... crystal"

Ein said with hesitation.

Venus, who is standing right behind him, is also surprised to hear this. Their main base in Alola was hidden from the other members, and only the admins knew about it. The base also had more than a hundred members, so whoever captured it must be strong.

Venus couldn't help but frown upon hearing this. This is troublesome as Alola plays a big part in Cipher's success.

They cannot fail their mission in Alola, or the underworld will come after them.

The voice from the other side of the device stayed silent for a few seconds, making both Ein and Venus nervous about the silence.

Ein "Sir?"

Ein asked nervously.

"Do you know who it is?"

The voice asked.

Ein sighed as he got a reply from the man. Ein would be shitting his pants if the man didn't speak and ended the call.

Ein "We don't know, sir"

Ein answered.

"Which organization does he belongs to?"

Ein "Sir, he is al... alone"

Ein answered nervously.

"What do you mean by alone?"

The man on the other side asked and raised his tone.

Ein "Sir the survivor said that the whole base was infiltrated and taken over by just one person..."

Silence followed from the other side once again as Ein gave his answer. Hearing no reply from the other side, Ein started to get nervous and continue to speak.

Ein "Sir, the man who infiltrated gave us a warning as well..."

"What warning?"

The man from the other side spoke again. Anger could clearly be heard in his voice. Ein trembled in fear, but he maintained his composer.

Ein "Sir, he warned me that he is coming from Cipher and he is going to des... destroy us..."

Ein said.

Venus's eyes went wide as she heard this. Someone blatantly threatened to destroy Cipher all on his own. She doesn't know if this person is either stupid or very confident in his ability. The more she thinks about it, the more she thinks that this person is an idiot.

The man on the other side went silent again before suddenly bursting out in laughter.

"HAHAHAHAHA... HAHAHAHAHA... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... HAHA... HA"

"Did he say he is going to destroy us?"

The man asked, but this time he is growling in anger and Ein felt it in his whole body. His body shivered in fear as he heard this man growl in anger.

"Ye... Yes sir..."

"Good... Good... Let's see what he can do... Prepare the force. Let's take over Alola and be done with it sooner and louder than hide around. Declare war"

The man said and ended the call. The room fell silent again, and only the sound of some machine that is running in the background could be heard.

Both Ein and Venus remained silent as they processed their order.

Venus "What are we going to do?"

She asks.

Ein finally realized that she is in the room and turns around, he sees that Venus is a little pale from fear and he couldn't blame her for being in such a state as he is in no better shape as well.

Ein "What can we do other than follow orders? We will be dead if we go against his orders"

Ein said, and Venus nodded.

Venus "So a war then? Who is going to lead it?"

Venus asked and looked at Ein. Since he has been put in charge, he will be the one to assign the commander for this war, and she doesn't want to go to Alola and face this unknown threat.

If this person really wiped out their whole base with hundred people in it, she wants no part in it.

Ein "Let's send Miror B. He and his personal goons can handle it"

Venus sighed in relief as she heard this. She couldn't be any more grateful to Ein for choosing Miror B for this war.

Venus "How many are you going to send?"

Ein "A two thousand should be enough, right? Alola is not that big of a region and they don't have a lot of force to fight back so we can easily capture all the islands before reinforcements arrive.

Once Alola is under our control, we should be able to fight off the resistance and back up with our technology"

Venus "How long will it take to prepare the army?"

She asks.

Ein "At the earliest, it will take more than a month. The numbers can be filled, but arranging the equipment will be hard"

Venus "I will leave it to you then"

Venus said and left as she doesn't want to deal with this at all. She has a bad feeling about this and she doesn't want to be involved with this situation in any way, shape, or form.

Ein just glares coldly at Venus. He can't believe he is working with idiots. One is a dancing monkey, and the other is a poser who wants to be seen as a star.

Ein "Pathetic"

He voiced and got to work.
