Chapter 57 Demon General 2_1

The sun set in the west.

The last bit of daylight gradually disappeared over the horizon.

Darkness began to fall.

"Gosh, I'm so tired..."

As the Crow Demon swiftly landed and morphed back into his half-demon form, he sluggishly moved towards the stone cave.

"Why does this feel more exhausting than patrolling the mountain all day..."

The Crow Demon entered the cave, immediately collapsed onto the ground, sighing heavily.

"Chopping wood is definitely more tiring than patrolling a mountain..."

Red Pi picked up the conversation, went to the corner of the cave where firewood was stored, carried the logs over to the stove, and began to start a fire.

"Bang, bang..."

Two flintstones were easily struck together. Sparks fell onto a small piece of kindling, quickly igniting it.

The firelight illuminated the inside of the cave.

Giving everything in sight a warm glow.
