Chapter 8 Quirk Assessment test-2

With Aizawa's declaration, everyone started to prepare for the upcoming physical test seriously as no one wanted to be expelled from U.A. Test 1 is the 50 meter dash. Bakugo lined up next to me as he wanted to race me. I activated my quirk on the starting line and he also prepared for a run up before using his quirk. With our feet on our pedal, we heard the robot announce the start up and as he started a run up before using his quirk, I had already sped past him with my 10% speed which proceeded in 1.25 seconds in the 50 meter dash, while he got a 4.13 seconds. I nodded in my head as I was almost 3 seconds faster than Bakugo and almost 1.5 seconds faster than Ida who had 3.04 seconds.

Bakugo's eyes widened in surprised and quickly became angry that I was faster than him. I looked him and said to him, " We were almost at the same level in physical strength. Now that I also have my quirk, do you really think you can beat me?" I smiled as I waited with the others who had completed their tasks. Bakugo started to tremble in anger and tried his best to hold back but for now, that should be all the taunting that I want to do to him. I know that Bakugo could probably be faster as he needed to warm up to use his quirk but that's just too bad for him since I don't need to.

Everyone got the same score as they did in cannon and then we proceeded to the next test which was the grip strength test. On this test an onwards I continued to use my 10% strengthening and got a power of 650 kgs worth of strength scoring higher than Mezo shoji, the person with the duplicate arm quirk, who scored a 540 kg strength.

The next test was the standing long jump which I landed outside the sand box easily. Next test was the repeated side step I scored the fastest but only by a small margin ahead of Minoru Mineta. Next was the soft ball throw test which I didn't need to participate in because I already did it and watched the others. Like cannon, Uraraka scored infinite and Bakugo had 705.2 which he was proud of because that seemed to be the only that that he had beat me in so far. After this, we took the standard physical test that we didn't need to use our quirk for such as set ups, seated toe-touch, and long distance run which I also excelled in thanks to the one punch man training that I had started to train at the age of 4 and mastered around the age of 11.

As all the tests have been completed, I ranked first as everyone followed along as cannon as Momo was second and Mineta was placed last. As he placed last, he began to panic as now he was going to be expelled from U.A. but Aizawa chimed in saying, " By the way, I was lying about the expulsion." Hearing this statement, almost everyone got a speechless expression as some of them thought that they were going to be expelled if they were last and Mineta showed a relief expression now that he wasn't going to be expelled. Some of other classmates showed confident expressions as they knew they weren't going to be last anyways if the expulsion was real.

After the quirk assessment test, we proceeded to head home as that was all that was planned for the day. Laying down on my bed, I was excited for the fight tomorrow as I will be able to fight Bakugo and defeat him for good. I hope he will be ready for a beatdown and quickly fell asleep with a smile.

Waking up the next morning, I did my regular morning routine and quickly went to school. This morning, school is just like any regular school as I attended class and listened in class. All the subjects so far were subjects that I already did in my previous life so everything was just small reviews. Luckily there were no college courses required to become a hero so at the end of high school, I can get my provisional license already and just work in a hero agency and build up my experiences and reputation. Being a hero, we also get paid based on popularity so once I become the top hero or even listed in the top hundred I think I'll be pretty well off.

I had lunch with Uraraka and Ida who me and Uraraka became quite good friends with so it was the cannon trio and that was enough for me. After lunch will be when we have class with All Might where we will be having a combat test. I've been looking forward to that since school started.

As we waited in our class, a loud announcement came from the door , " I AM... coming through the door like a normal person!" As soon as All Might arrived everyone in class became excited at the sight of the number 1 hero. He was wearing his silver age costume which gave him gold bands that went from his wrist to half his forearm as he wore a red top with a white symbol that ran across his arms, chest and down his sides. He had a golden belt on his waist with the grey steel buckle and wore blue pants and a blue cap.

All Might was in charge of Hero Basic training where he trains us in different ways to learn the basics to become a hero. Today he prepared for us was combat training which excited Bakugo greatly as he revealed a relishing grin. After that, before we started he had us get into our hero costume and I was really excited for that. Aside from my green hair and average looks, my body was really toned and I provide specifics in my superman like armor battle suit without the cape and S on the chest.

We all went into the changing room to change into our costumes and about ten minutes later, we walked into the combat field area with all of us in our hero costumes.

As we all looked at other people's costume, I noticed that everyone was the same as cannon and saw Uraraka's body suit. " You look nice Uraraka. It suit's you really well."

She smiled embarrassingly as she rubbed the back of her head and examined my costume. She blushed lightly by how the muscular I looked and said, " Wow Izuku, I like your costume. It goes well with your look and reminds me a little like All Might and makes you look really strong."

I laughed and thanked her. All Might also saw my costume and nodded his head in how it looked. My costume was almost like his as was mostly a body suit but for me I wrote how I wanted some parts to be reinforced with armor that was located around my feet, arm, and upper chest area. With this, it gives the most protection and damage to where I will fight in the most or take damage in.

Now that everyone was prepared and ready to go, All Might decided to start the class. With the question by Ida, everything was going as cannon as All Might explained that instead of Urban style combat, we will be participating in indoor combat with two vs two and one side being a villain that hides and protect the designated bomb and the other side being the hero where they will either apprehend the villains or touch/capture the bomb within a certain amount of time. The teams will be random as well as the opponents. The teams allocated were the same as cannon as Me and Uraraka was paired together and Bakugo and Ida were paired together etc.

Once the teams were chosen and and who were against who, me and Uraraka came together and wanted to come up with a plan. Hopefully Bakugo would act like cannon and go at me ignoring Ida. However, the Bakugo is a little bit different this time. He has fewer outbursts and more competitive with me than just a simple person every time I show him up one.

As all the times converge together and plan, Bakugo and Ida also talk to each other.
