Today was the day the attack would take place.

Clayman would be stuck in the Walpurgis, leaving him to Rimuru and Karna.

After being teleported to their locations, the plan began.

Souka was in charge of taking care of their first target, Yamza.

"How can it be that there is not even a single human around?!" Yamza exclaimed.

"With the warning that Milim gave them, they cannot move within such a short time.

Even with teleportation magic, it's not possible. Search for them! They must have hidden in secret places to make it appear as if they have left."

"Yes, sir!"Once Yamza was left by himself, he got ready to meet with the dragon faithful under Milim.

He was about to exit when his senses screamed danger.

"Mission accomplished. No room for error," Souka reported to Benimaru.

Souei was currently escorting Shuna and the newly created holy division with Hakuro.

Their target was the skeleton king, Adalman, Clayman's index finger.

Killing him was a last resort. Karna had already instructed them to reason with him first.

From the information they had gathered, the skeleton king used to be a cardinal when he was alive.

If their information was correct, Souei could see why their lord had requested them to try to recruit him.

His strength would no doubt be of great use, and he could provide valuable information about Lubelius.

The mist around them had thickened since the moment they entered, and the moment they had been waiting for had arrived.

The mist cleared to reveal they were surrounded by hundreds of skeletons.

Standing in the distance was the man they had been looking for. Stepping forward, Shuna spoke.

"Why is it that you continue to serve Clayman? Wouldn't you rather work for someone who is good to their people? Who doesn't treat everyone around him like puppets? My lord has extended his invitation to you."

Shuna then used Holy Bell, and the holy division together used Domain Purification to clear the undead.

This sight was a huge shock to Adalman. He had just seen monsters using holy magic, something that should have only been reserved for humans, those who followed Luminous.

"Was my faith a lie? It seems I lost my faith when those bastard Seven Luminaries killed me.

"Shuna used Curse Purification, which she had learned from Karna, to free Adalman from Kazalim's control.

Adalman dropped to his knees. Though he did not have a face, pure shock could still be discerned on his skull.

"I surrender to you. From now on, my faith in Luminous is no more. I have seen the light of your god, and it has brought me greater faith than I have ever had before.

Please allow me to serve him."

At Tempest

Rimuru and Karna, along with Veldora, were discussing the demon lords while Testarossa prepared coffee for them.

Then a blue-haired woman in a maid outfit came in. She saw Karna had a unique presence around him.

But as soon as she saw Testarossa, she flinched and became shocked.

It took her a few seconds before speaking.

Rain: "I-is Rimuru Tempest-sama here? I am here to pick him and his escorts for Walpurgis."

"Yes, I am Rimuru Tempest."

"Then please follow me..."As they went after the blue demoness, Testarossa spoke.

"Ara, Rain chan ? It sure has been a while since I met you.

By the way, I am now named Testarossa."

Rain: "So you are now named... is there anyone else too?" she asked, avoiding eye contact.

Testarossa: "Hmm, oh right, I forgot about Diablo. It's Noir's new name, and he is currently on a mission that Karna-sama gave him.

"Now Rain's nightmare began, and she was cursing her existence, wondering why she was the one escorting them.

At the same time, they raised their feet as magicules gathered beneath them and stomped on the ground, causing countless soldiers of Clayman to fall into the pitfall.

"You! Ack-"Countless miserable voices could be heard on the battlefield.

Then Gabil and his comrades appeared and started stabbing those who could fly out of the pitfall, turning the situation into a one-sided massacre.

"Don't let a single man escape!" Gabil ordered his men.

At Walpurgis

Karna's POV

I'm using the same antics as Guy, hiding my aura by giving fake readings and I already told rimuru to do his best at hiding his ultimate.

At this moment, there were only two people missing.

As if he had been waiting for everyone to enter before him, Clayman arrived, carrying a small fox in his arms.

He was walking behind Milim, who had a blank expression as if she was lost in thought.

<She's doing an excellent job acting.>

Walking next to her, Clayman tried to show off his strength by punching her, but the moment he swung his fist, I vanished.

"It's ungentlemanly to strike a woman. Didn't your mother instill any manners in you?" I said, grabbing his arm before he could hit Milim.

He glanced around at everyone and saw that they were all mocking him.

Clayman then took his seat."Now then, let me thank you all from the bottom of my heart for gathering upon my summons.

Clayman did all his trash talking, claiming that Tempest conspired with Carrion to kill his subordinate Myurren.

While he was ranting, I spoke with Rimuru.

I pointed towards Carrion, who was in disguise.

Rimuru asked. >

<That's Carrion.>

<Haaah. He was shocked.>

< When will you grow up. Even with help of super assistant like raphael. I couldn't help but worry about your future. >

He was embarrassed as I treated him like a little kid.

Rimuru's POV

My pride! It's in pieces. Rimuru was crying internally because of the pity he received from Karna and Raphael

Clayman finished his speech, then Rain, who was the emcee, called for Rimuru to take his turn.

"You are Clayman, right? You're a pretty good damn liar!"

When I said that, Clayman was like, "Nani?"

"First of all, Myurren is still alive, and also Carrion too!"

"Nani? Huh! That's impossible, Milim killed Carrion for me."

"'Killed Carrion for me,' is it? Then does that mean you're the one who ordered Milim to kill Carrion?"

<Oh. When did Rimuru become this sharp? Karna thought.>

He was sweating while looking at karna.

"Hahaha, as expected of you!"After some conversation with Carrion, I looked back at Clayman.

He looked really shocked to death.

"Now see? Carrion's alive. Also, you've already lost. Your forces near Eurazania and the forces in your castle, we've already defeated them."

"W-What?!"

"It's true, you know. Look at this.

Karna came in front of me and tried to make a conversation with Clayman.

Karna's POV

"Hey Clayman! Let me guess, there's someone you can't disobey, right?" I asked him to waver his morale.

"How di-"

"Kazaream, that's his name, right?"

"How did you know that?" He became furious when asking that.

"Hmmm... But first, there's someone much higher than all of you, right? He's also the one who made Farmus come to us, right?

"How did you know that?!!" This time he was fully shocked.

"Hahaha!" I laughed, and even Rimuru and some demon lords chuckled.

When I looked at her eyes, she tried her very best not to smile.

"Now Milim, stop your acting, we already know the mastermind."She didn't budge.

"Well, if you continue your act, I'll ban your sweets and honey for a lifetime at Tempest.

"She immediately yelled, "That's not fair, noda! I just want a mock battle with you," she said, coming towards me and shaking my body.

Clayman was speechless and yelled, "You should be in control!"

"No one can manipulate me, you know?" Milim added, smiling while she hugged me."

< Oh lord veldanava, your daughter is already taken. Guy watched how milim and karna interact.

This guy sure is interesting. His power is greater than a demon lord. >

Hiee! That can't be, that was my trump card that can control even demon lords!" He yelled, in a state of disbelief.

"You're funny, Clayman," Rimuru mocked.

Carrion then came and yelled at Milim for destroying his capital city while Milim just hid behind me and blamed Clayman for all that she did. In the middle, he even became emotional.

"Don't worry, Carrion. With the help of the labor force from Jistav and my companions, we can make Eurazania even more beautiful than before."

"Thank you, Karna. No, Karna-san." He offered a handshake.

Rimuru and shion already take care of Puppet and golden coloured fox.

Because of all the shock and anger, Clayman's power surged as he kept laughing maniacally. (He achieved a pseudo-demon lord evolution.)

"Look! I have—I have acquired power!" he cackled.

Sensing Clayman's surge in power, Carrion gritted his teeth and said, "Karna-san, let me help."

"No, Rimuru and I are enough for Clayman." I turned towards Guy, and he made a green barrier and expanded the space within it.
