Journey of the Moonlight Swordsman

When a popular game and reality became connected, the world changed. Dungeons began to appear everywhere, and humanity quickly started to lose their territories. Fortunately, though, with the dungeons, the people that played this game received powers from their in-game characters, and this enabled humanity to fight back. The story follows a player who’s called Finn, and he is one of the weakest players there is. After being met with misfortune all his life, he went into a dungeon to earn some money for his rent, but because of his terrible luck, he found himself being chased by monsters. Due to a miracle, he barely managed to escape, only to stumble upon a huge door that even titans could walk through. The moment he pushed it open, he was given another chance to change his terrible past, but that was not the only thing he received after he opened that mysterious and sinister door... -------------------------------- Hello! This is my first ever novel, and I have always loved reading novels that made me feel an emotion, be it a sad one or an excited one. So, while writing this novel, I wrote some of the chapters with the sole purpose of making the reader feel the same emotion that I felt while writing it. Sometimes, I had to stop writing to wipe my tears away. ;-; Anyway, I hope you enjoy my first novel!

Fashionable Muse

Finn didn't have time to think of a smart plan, so he did what he had to.

Sacrifice Erelith.

He quickly used his ring to change his appearance and voice to match Erelith's and grabbed Lusha's shoulders.

"Wait here, honey. I am going to take a bath with Finn, and once I come back, I want you to try being the one in charge. Don't listen to anything I say and just fuck me, alright?"

"O- Okay darling! I will prepare myself while you are in the bath!"

Lusha didn't quite understand what was going on, but she did want to try to be the one in charge for a change, so she immediately agreed.

"Yes, do that. Also, give me two bathrobes."

Hearing Finn, who sounded like Erelith, Lusha quickly opened the cupboard and gave him, two bathrobes.

Finn then left Lusha inside the room and quickly entered the corridor.

He then transformed himself into looking like himself again and began heading towards the baths.

Walking through the corridor, Finn knew where to go because Erelith talked about the royal baths so much that he could probably get there with his eyes closed.

So once he entered the changing room, he took his clothes off and then entered the baths.

It was pretty much a huge pool filled with steaming hot water, and in the middle of the pool was also a huge, golden fountain that kept spewing out more water.

Finn noticed that Erelith was already sitting inside the bath and relaxing, so he went to join him by sitting next to him.

"You found the bathrobes?"

Erelith raised his head to look at Finn.

"Yeah, but it was really dark, and it took me some time to find them."

Answering, Finn intentionally mentioned that it was dark so that if Erelith found out that Lusha was there when Finn was looking for the bathrobes, he would think that Finn didn't see her because of how dark the room was.

"That's fine. As long as you found them. I can't wait to go back to my room and go to sleep, though. I am really tired."

Erelith chuckled, and as the hot water was relaxing his muscles, he felt himself getting more and more tired.

"…"

Finn felt pretty bad because he knew what fate awaited Erelith once he entered his room, but the sacrifice had to be made, so he just closed his eyes and also soaked himself in the water.

After ten minutes, Erelith got up and grabbed his bathrobe.

"I will be going now. Do you know how to get back to your room or do you need my help?"

"No, I can get there myself, so just go without me."

Erelith nodded at Finn's words and left the baths, while Finn kept enjoying the hot water.

Finn felt a little apologetic about telling Lusha to fuck Erelith as soon as he was back, but at the same time, Erelith would most likely be happy about it, so Finn didn't really let it bother him too much.

After waiting for ten more minutes to make sure that Erelith was gone, he also got up and went to his room.

Luckily, his room was empty and didn't have any elf queens inside, so he jumped on his bed and went to sleep.

---

When it was almost afternoon, everyone was having a late breakfast, and while Sophie was feeding Fae some delicious-looking food, Finn noticed what Erelith looked like.

He didn't know what had happened after he went to sleep, but seeing Erelith have black circles under his eyes and how his expression radiated tiredness, Finn could somehow guess what took place.

'Your sacrifice won't be forgotten!'

Finn's eyes brightened up, and he nodded at Erelith. Luckily, nobody saw this.

Lusha, on the other hand, was smiling a lot more than usual and looked very happy.

Just as Finn had read online, female lions force male lions to have sex with them 20-40 times a day, and they will bite the male lion's balls if he rejects them. That was how Erelith looked to Finn right now, a tired male lion.

"Are you okay, dad?"

Fae also noticed her father's condition, so she started to worry about him.

"I'm-"

"He is fine, Fae. Just eat your breakfast."

But before Erelith could even answer, Lusha answered for him.

He looked at his wife with a questioning gaze, so Lusha leaned towards him and gave him a peck on his lips.

Instead of being happy, though, Erelith looked down at his plate with a depressed expression.

'My man is living the male lion lifestyle…'

Finn just shook his head with closed eyes, like he was grieving for his friend who had just died in a war.

When Erelith got back to his room from the baths and noticed how horny his wife was, he was pretty happy, even if he was already tired.

But after finishing three times, Lusha still wanted to continue, and no matter what he said to her, she didn't stop, so they ended up using a special potion and doing it sixteen times.

After Lusha finally allowed him to go to sleep, he felt like an empty husk, and when he had finally fallen asleep, he had one tear leaving his eye.

---

After breakfast, Erelith went to sleep a little more, and Finn went shopping with the girls.

They didn't have guards walking with them, but there were a lot of guards watching and protecting them from the shadows.

Fae didn't want Finn to feel bad, so she rode on his shoulders this time.

Sophie also held his hand as they walked through the capital city, and Finn was happy that he was finally being shown love by those two girls who acted like he was a bother yesterday.

Lusha was the one leading them through the streets because she used to live there before she married Erelith and moved to the palace.

They first visited a store that fixed Finn's equipment because it was on the verge of being destroyed after Erelith slashed through it, and then they continued walking to a clothing store that Lusha kept praising.

"This is my favorite clothing store."

She pointed at a store that had a sign with the text "Fashionable Muse" on it.

Finn was pretty experienced when it came to women going shopping, and today he had three girls with him, which meant even more time waiting for them to go through every single item in the store.

Mentally preparing himself, Finn entered the store with the girls.

Looking around, he saw a huge amount of clothing, and he started praying that they would be able to make it to the festival on time.

It was clothing for women only, and looking around, he also noticed that there was probably every single type that he knew of, and it always had different styles and different colors.

So he put the excited Fae down, who was looking forward to buying a new dress for the festival, and looked at Lusha, who was talking to the store clerk, who seemed to be her friend.

There were some elf women in the store already, but Finn couldn't see a single guy.

He knew that they would be in this store for some time, so he wanted to go sit down somewhere.

But suddenly, Sophie grabbed his hand and started pulling him.

"What is it, Sophie?"

"I am going to choose clothes, and you will tell me what you think of them."

Answering him, Sophie said it as if it were an obvious thing that he didn't even need to ask.

"Do I have to rate every clothing piece you choose…?"

Finn asked, hoping that he wasn't right, but Sophie stopped and looked at him.

"Of course. Every single one."

"…"

He wanted to cry, but then he remembered how he sacrificed Erelith and knew that this was karma for throwing his new friend under the bus.

After walking through the store for a bit, Sophie sat Finn down on a bench in front of the changing rooms. She would always go inside to change into new clothes, and Finn had to say what he thought.

Sometimes she would come out wearing a dress that tightly hugged her body, and sometimes it would be a frilly dress that was really girly.

She also tried wearing pants and baggy shirts that looked really fashionable, and anything she chose looked like it fit Sophie perfectly.

In the beginning, Finn always knew what to say. Of course, he only complimented Sophie.

"You are beautiful."

"You look gorgeous."

"You are stunning."

"You are very pretty."

"You look extremely alluring."

But Sophie didn't stop, and she kept bringing more and more clothes, so Finn's vocabulary was starting to run dry.

It also wasn't like he was just saying these words to satisfy his girlfriend, because he really did mean what he was saying, but as time went by, he understood that Sophie had no plans of stopping.

When she stood in front of Finn with another blue dress that she had chosen, he didn't know what to say because when he tried repeating the same words, she scolded him for saying the same thing.

"…Sophie, you look absolutely great in everything you wear. No matter what you choose in here, it will look good on you, so just pick what you like and I will buy it for you, okay?"

Giving up on praising her, Finn tried to persuade her into finally choosing a few pieces of clothing that she liked.

"Then I will take all the clothes you have complimented so far."

Walking towards him, she decided to not make Finn sit through her shopping spree any longer, and as a reward, she would let him buy all the clothes he liked so far so that she could wear them on their future dates.

'…OOF! That's like, what? I don't know, but it is a lot!'

Sophie had shown Finn so many different clothes that he had already stopped counting, and if he wasn't rich because of the money he earned from his gang activities, there was no way he would have enough to pay for everything.

Even so, the shop they were in was the most expensive and most prestigious clothing shop in all of Eliglade, so his bulky wallet was about to meet its maker.

Suddenly, Lusha, who was helping Fae buy clothes, walked up to Finn and Sophie.

"Don't worry, I will pay for everything. You guys helped us out so much that this is nothing in comparison."

When Finn heard that, he breathed a sigh of relief because he planned to buy something during the festival, but if he were to pay for everything, he wouldn't even be able to buy a single lollipop.

After Sophie placed all her new clothes into her inventory, Finn noticed that compared to her, Lusha and Fae bought only three pieces of clothing each, but he didn't want to look like he was judging her, so he remained quiet.

Once they were finished, they didn't go to another shop because they had spent a long time in this one, and so they went to the palace to have dinner.

On their way there, Fae kept showing Finn all the cute dresses she had bought with an adorable smile, and he made sure to praise each one, which made Fae giggle in happiness.

And after arriving in the palace and eating dinner with Erelith, who looked a lot better now, they went to their rooms to prepare themselves and wear nice clothes because the Starry Night Festival was finally about to begin.
