Silver Coin

Alex collected some herbs when he was in the forest and now he was on his way to the market place.

'For me to make a pill... I need a cauldron...but I don't have any money' thought alex while looking at a particular shop that sells cauldrons and other instruments.

'Let's see...how much would it costs' thinking this alex approached the shopkeeper while wearing a mask. As this is a small village, there is a chance that they might know who he is and also he just want to buy the cauldron not the problems.

"Excuse me sir, how much is for one cauldron?" Asked alex while changing his voice to an elder voice.

'Hmm...he seems like a cultivator and he looks like he is not from here... let's make some extra money' thought shopkeeper with excitement.

"Yes sir, just two silver coins for one cauldron" replied shopkeeper while placing a nice cauldron infront of alex.

'WHAT....two silver coins?'

"Okay" said Alex and he turned around to go back home as he got the price of it.

"Wait sir...wait...I will give it for one silver coin just for you" said shopkeeper hurriedly as he saw alex leaving after knowing the price. The shopkeeper thought that alex was leaving because he quoted the price too high so he said the original price in the end.

'Haa..so he is lying earlier..but I don't have any money now' thought alex.

"Actually I forgot to bring money with me so I will come back tomorrow" said Alex and left the shop.

'What? I even quoted the original price...forget it...I will sell it to someone else' thought shopkeeper while looking at the disappearing figure of alex.

Alex kept thinking about how to get money to buy the cauldron. Initially, he thought of asking his mom but one silver coin is not small amount and his mom will ask for reasons as well and same goes with his father and his only option is his sister.

It was already past evening by the time alex reached home and just after few minutes his sister along with his father came back from work.

After an hour, they all sat for dinner and just then Adam started speaking to alex " I talked to cora about your choice and she seemed a bit happy about it".

"Ofcourse she would...she is going to have my precious boy" said ava while scoffing.

"What mom? Are you getting jealous here" said Alice while laughing.

"Why would I be jealous? He is my boy" said ava while evading eye contact with her.

"Okay...okay..mom..I believe you" said Alice while laughing even harder.

Looking at them, alex and Adam just laughed. Soon they finished having dinner and his sister along with his father left to their respective rooms only leaving behind alex and his mom.

"Where did you go today?" Asked ava with little serious tone because he didn't pay much attention to her today.

"Well.. I wandered around the village" replied Alex confidently.

"What? Really?" Asked ava with suspicious eyes.

"Yes..mom" replied Alex while looking at her beautiful body.

"Okay just be careful" said ava and continued her work.

"Okay mom" said Alex and left her alone.

Actually she was expecting him to do something naughty with her but to her disappointment he left just like that.

'What.. he left.. did something happened?...maybe he is nervous about the upcoming entrance exam...yes that must be it.' Thought ava while cleaning dishes.

Alex straight away went to his sister room and hugged her for behind.

"What do you want? Alex" asked Alice with a smile.

Without replying he hugged her even tighter and at first he hesitated a bit but later he decided to ask her about the money he needed.

"Actually..sister.." said Alex after releasing her from his clutches.

"No matter what it is you can ask me" said Alice while ruffling his hair.

"Sister.. i need some money" said alex getting confidence from her words.

"Is that it? How much do you want?" Asked alice while bringing some bronze coins.

"I need thirty bronze coins" replied Alex while looking at her reactions closely.

"Okay..thirty bronze coins...WHAT?" At first she didn't do the math and only thought he needed some bronze coins but once she did the match she was shocked and at the right time he closed her mouth with his hand.

' Why did he need that much money?' Was the only thought in her mind.

"I will give it to you only if you tell me why you need that much money" asked Alice after claiming herself down.

"Sister, I will pay you back later" said alex.

"I hope you are not using this money on something stupid" said Alice while handing him a silver coin.

"Sister, you are the best. I will definitely pay you back." Said Alex after that he hugged and kissed her on the cheek before leaving to his room.

Next day, after having breakfast alex went to market place to buy cauldron. He walked for few minutes and now he infront of the shopkeeper.

"Here is the money for cauldron" said Alex after placing a silver coin on the desk.

"Haa..what cauldron..hoo..sir I didn't thought you would come back" said shopkeeper. Initially he thought he was someone else and after looking at the mask he realised that he was the same customer from yesterday.

"Here is the cauldron sir" said shopkeeper after handing over it to alex.

"If you need anything else please visit us first sir. Thank you" said shopkeeper.

Alex immediately threw it into his storage ring and returned to his home. He instructed his mom to not disturb him and later went into his room.

Soon he placed the cauldron and controlled the fire with precision under it and dumped all the ingredients necessary into cauldron and closed the lid and after few minutes there was a sound indicating that pills are ready and once he opened the lid the room is filled with nice fragrance.

He took the pills and stored in a small bottle and when he looked at the quality they are top notch.

Later, he again started making another pills and this continued till afternoon and as to not create any suspicions he went to have lunch with his mother.
