11 The Wand and The Owl

Minerva McGonagall was taking Jack and his parents to the backside of the Leaky cauldron. Jack's parents were stunned as they pass through the way as the leaky cauldron from outside was like an old building and soon they arrived at the wall which was like a gate to diagon alley.
"see the sequence for opening the entrance"
She tapped the bricks while speaking to them, the bricks moved and the whole diagon alley was in their sight, this time Jack was smiling he had previously seen the alley but how many times you look it cannot be enough, the atmosphere here was full of magic and wonder. the shops, the people doing magic here and there and the food, etc.
"How is it," she asked to me Jack just was smiling and nodding and replied "Amazing ".
The major shock was to the parents to see this much, their whole life they did not know that there was this community near them and they were not able to see it they just replied it was "Magnificent".
Aunt Min then brought them to the Gringotts bank while giving a brief introduction to the shops along the way. The Aunt Min came from his sister calling her by that name and jack too started saying Aunt Min to her she did not mind and was rather happy than taking it offensive.
Speaking of his sister they left her to Jack's grandmother to babysit. Jack was having second thought if he should tell her about all the stuff the magic and all. he saw as his sister cried the whole night when the parents said to her that they were sending him to a boarding school for the whole year.
He naturally spends time with her and promised to arrive at all the holidays and to bring her the best chocolates, treats, and presents for her.
The Gringotts bank was the same when he arrived before, Aunt min took them to open a new account and to exchange the currency with her along it was smooth for all the proceeding. the parents and jack were informed about goblins before by aunt min brought here and the customs and all.
They started buying all the stuff needed for the first years the books, the trunk, the cauldron, potions stuff, etc.. Now they arrived at Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions for the school uniform. The measurements were taken by magic rulers and the lady Madam Malkin was a friend of his aunt min and they were chatting.
"so this is your Nephew" she looked at him and asked aunt min nodded towards her and she glances at me to introduce himself.
"Hello my name is Jack Wilson" he introduced himself.
"come dear I will personally take your Measurements" He did not know why she said that but he just nodded along and soon all was done.
The family was enjoying ice cream Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor it was a famous parlor as aunt told them about it.
"whats next," the aunt asked him.
"WAND" Jack replied immediately he was nagging her till they first came to diagon alley.
They arrived at the Ollivander's it was written "Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C.". he arrived inside the store with his aunt his parents were waiting outside with all the shopping. the first impression was,
The shop's display consisted of a solitary wand lying on a faded purple cushion in the dusty window. The shop was tiny, empty except for a single, spindly chair in the corner. Thousands of narrow boxes containing wands were piled right up to the ceiling of the tiny shop, and the whole place had a thin layer of dust about it.
After they entered they did not see Garrick Ollivander but the listened to the noises at back but after 2-3 minutes Garrick Ollivander come at the counter withholding three boxes in hand he looked at him. then he looked toward his aunt and said "Professor McGonagall, how is 9½", Fir, dragon heartstring fairing" she nodded and said it's fine.
"A new Hogwarts student," He asked obviously as she brought them regularly
"Yes and added he his my Nephew," she said and Jack after that also introduced himself.
"Well Mr.Wilson here is your wand choose among them"
Jack did not understand why he wanted him to choose between these 3 wands, he was thinking of him as an eccentric old man and he then looked towards his aunt for some questions.
Ollivander then said by introducing the wand wood of the wands, that Vine wands are among the less common types, He continued and said that about the Vinewood, these wands can emit magical effects upon the mere entrance into their room of a suitable owner so he went at the back collecting the three Vinewoods he have and said that it has happened two times already and this is the third time.
Jack stared at Ollivander and thought something like that happened he just arrived and these wands started emitting magical energy he did not believe and then he took a glance at his aunt she just nodded, so he approached the three boxes he just waved his hand over the boxes and selected the middlebox. Ollivander then opened then presented to him he took the wand into his hand and he instantly felt that he was connected to the wand.
It was an 11'' inches long wand and there were colors flying through the wand as he started waving he instantly knew that this was his wand.
"Curious indeed how these things happen. The wand chooses the wizard, remember... I think we must expect great things from you, Mr. Wilson".
He told them about the Core inside which is Phoenix feather. "a unique combination of Vinewood and phoenix feather " he looked and repeated, " The wand chooses the wizard".
the cost was 10 Galleons which was 3 Galleon more than normal wand it was due to rare Vinewood.
My aunt insisted him to buy the wand holster, which is used to keep the wand safe instead to keep them in school dress.
Next, My aunt took me towards Eeylops Owl Emporium, she said that it was her gift to him, he can buy any owl he likes. jack started browsing the store to find an owl.
He wanted to use his soul power toward the owl and see if there were special, so he moved inside the shop where he was not seen by his aunt and slowly used his soul power toward the owls.
There was one owl that showed a response to the soul power it was black and white, mixed color it was an unusual owl it was placed at the corner. he arrived next to the owl and again used his soul power the owl responded with making noise and flapping its wings.
Jack decided to buy it. he approached his aunt said that he wanted this owl, then they went to talk to the shopkeeper about the owl.
The shopkeeper replied that the owl was a troublesome and unusual owl it did not comply as the bonding was not successful between the previous owners and the owl. so they were trying to shift her to another location so that's why it was kept in the corner he said all about the owl due to his aunt as he was acquainted with her.
Jack insisted that he wanted that owl and his aunt helplessly brought him the owl as she said that it will be her gift.
After he arrived at home he first started testing out his wand with the basic spells it was a lot more easier far quicker than his wandless magic. The flow was smooth like it was like a Rhythm it was fated to be. the wand chooses the wizard it makes a lot of sense the words.
A pair of eyes were watching him as he was going through all that. He met those eyes it was the owl
It was like analyzing him he wanted to know about the owl. (it is a She)
Jack used his soul power and he saw the owl was reacting to it like it could sense the soul power too
so jack started to move the soul power to the owl. the owl was going through some changes like it was trembling so jack stopped he did not know it was good or bad.
The owl was gazing on to him as she enjoyed it so jack started pouring more soul power onto her but nothing happened he started to feel the owl through her wing and her body like he was petting her, suddenly she bit his finger there was some blood but jack ignored as he felt there was some soul power around her.
Jack now knew that now they were bonded as he can feel her existence through his soul. it was unusual as normally the pets are bonded by magic there was some mystery to the owl as she can sense soul power. so it was like a soul contract thing instead of magic he thought to himself.
