Chapter 7: Punishment Awaiting

The ship moves to a small green field as we start hovering above it as we sway back and forth when Abbi is trying to say in one spot. Abbi turns to Leo and I when were at the hatch as it opens as she yells "I can't land here its to easy for me to be spotted. Hurry off now I'll meet you here in an hour." Barely hearing her Leo nods as he yelled "Okay Abbi see you then." His shoots up giving her a thumb up of approval. Throwing down a rope Leo waves his hand and orders "Grab this and slide down princess. I'll be behind you." Jumping and sliding down the rope with everything lighting up by the soft moonlight as the cool breeze goes through my hair as I lower myself to the ground. Taking in a deep breath as I land onto the ground as I whispered to myself "It's nice to be back." With a smile coming across my lips as the cold kisses my cheeks with a light pink coming over them as I face the stars lighting up the sky with the moon shining even brighter along with the small clouds blowing by.

Taking a few steps forward I drop to my knees pushing my hands into the dirt feeling the grass. Not even noticing Abbi flying away as I rub my hands on my pans Snapping me out of it to hear Leo when he spoke "We need to keep moving princess. I don't want us to get caught." Shrugging my shoulders with the smile melting away as my thoughts start flowing through me like a waterfall of emotions as I ask myself. Is this all real or is it a dream? Mumbling to myself without realizing I asked it "Is this all really happening?" Leo stopped and I get to my feet as I look to the ground taking a few steps to him as I'm abruptly stopped by him figure. Taking a step back I quickly speak "I'm… Sorry! I didn't realize you were standing there. I thought we had to keep moving?" My face turning red as I stammered with the confusion on why he stopped. With a sigh he turned his gaze to me as he asked "Princess?" To me humming and looking into his eyes he grabbed my hand as he looks into my eyes as I look into his "Do you have anyone you want to check up on? Friends? Anyone come to mind?" My eyes widen when the words flowed from hims mouth. Surprised at the act I look to the ground and the thoughts of Ashlyn came through with what happened only a day ago was ketching up having a lunch together. Thinking about it would be nice to tell her everything and too….. Suddenly for a moment thinking of what they would do to her if she was involved I didn't want to make her a target.

Looking into Leo's scarifier blue eyes I stutter as I explain "Leo… I. Um-mm. Well I have someone in mind, but I don't want to put them in danger putting a target on there back. They don't deserve that." Shaking my head as I try not to think about what evil, terrible things they would do to her. Giving a light squeeze of Leo's hand he nods when he spoke "I understand princess. I'm sorry we couldn't do more for them." Leo quickly turned around saying "We should get going were almost there princess." With a small giggle coming out I cover my mouth as I try to contain myself as a bubbling feeling starts to suffuse. He turns his attention to me with confusion painted across his face as he tilts it to the side. After a second I to speak with the laughter trying to escape "I know Leo. It's my house were going to anyway." With a slay smile coming to my lips I pull on his hand getting him to stumble on his feet as he tries not to fall on me. Catching his footing Leo turns around and stumbles on his feet as he stutters " Yes princess… Of course. Then lead the way." Waving his hand I let his hand go as I giggle when I skip by him leading the way to the road as we make it to the light wooden area with the moon light shinning through the leaves casting a shadow along the road. A little ways down the trees start to open up to a small home surrounded with overgrowing plants with little flowers in pots by the door. Grabbing the key from under a pot were the light purple rose sat in its same spot by the door. With key in hand I place the key to lock only bumping the door open as it squeaks open a few inches.

My mind ran through my memory double checking if I locked the door and I know for sure that it was locked. Glancing over my shoulder as I gulp my nerves "Leo it's not locked and I know I locked it when I left." As my body shakes and trembles as his face turned into an on crap as his face changed from the bright-eyed prince to the dark eyes of an uncontrollable animal.

Pulling his gun out he held a hand out as he pushed me aside. Leo whispered, "Stay here princess." Seeing him push the door open and walk in as he points his gun down the halls of my home and to the rooms that I called a safe place that has now turned into something of violence and distraction. My body trembling uncontrollably in fear as it starts building up grabbing my gun with my trembling hands as I built up the courage as I snapped and rushed into the front room turning on the light to see all the shattered glass across the floor. Gasping at the sight and I ask Why? Why would you want to do this? Everything I worked for that was mine was now crushed and left on the ground like trash. The feeling of losing everything is nothing I ever wanted to feel, but I am nowhere standing at the hard work I did was gone. The anger made my blood boil and skin tingle from the strength of fear and anger making me tremble with frustration. Walking alone on the floor to feel, hear the cracking of glass as I look around the room feeling the walls now empty from the picture frames that were once on the wall, but now shattered on the floor. To see the couch stuffing turned inside out and spread across the room I come to the doorway of the kitchen then get to the hall. Going down the dark hall to see the bathroom to then get to the end of the hall to open the door to my room to find my pillows opened up with there insides spread alone the floors the desk. Switching the light on to its flickering light as it shows the room in disarray that I once called my safe place. Looking at the pictures of friends and the years of school dances. Even the ribbons that was once on the shelf are now scattered on the ground. To the bed to the closet to be unable to see the floor, but to see clothes shredded and pictures of everything I worked so hard for.

To see a purple blanket, the purple blanket from my mother the blanket I was wrapped in when I was left. The blanket now shredded feeling my leg give out from under me as I scream as I curl up into myself as I grab what's left of the blanket as tears start to fall down my cheeks. With my head brushing the floor as tears start to flowing out like a river rolling through me. With anguish and frustration, I felt defeated. As my messy screaming sob starts to overflow me and flies out of me. To hear Leo rush through the door to find me trembling I try to speak, but a crying mess speech comes to my lips "Why did he do this? Why am I so important for Gonolest? I have gone through enough just being abandoned. So why? Why me?" Screaming out the tearing words cracking. Looking up to Leo I start to sob when I ask again "Why is he so cruel? Why does he want to do this to me?" Tears staining my face to get engulfed with Leo sliding down holding me to him as he rubbed my back calming me down as he said "Princess. He wants to break you so you won't fights him. That's what Merkel wants. That is why he's doing this. All I can tell you is it will get better when we fight together." Cupping my cheeks with his genital hands rubbing away the tears as he continues "I know I won't be there all the time, but I will believe in you and I'll be the first one to tell you that you are not alone anymore." My eyes widen with a smile coming to my face as I crash back into his arms hugging him tightly than to feel him hold me even tighter. With a sigh, I whip the tears away from my face as I stand to my feet "Then let's get what we need and get back to Abbi so we can kick this bastard's ass." Holding my hand out he nodded he grabbed it getting to his feet and pulled me into one last embrace. Finding a backpack I fill it with some clothes I could use and one piece of the blanket with the blue star still in-tacked somehow. Shoving it into my pocket I grab some towel trees and go back to find Leo in the kitchen grabbing some knives and batteries.

Looking to Leo I leaned against the doorway as I speak teasingly "You ready to start a war?" Giggling at my question he said, "It has already begun." With both of us smiling Leo leads the way out the door, but before taking a step out side I grab his arm and wrap my arms around his wait without thinking taking in his sent of spice Leo holds his hands up in the air as his voice squeaks as he stammers out "Princes what? What are you doing?" Nuzzling my face into his back I spoke softly "I just wanted another hug before we get back I know it's not princess-like." Tightening my grip he lowers his hands to mine as said "I understand princess. Everyone needs someone to depend on and everyone needs a shoulder to lean on." Rubbing his thumb on alone my knuckles he held them and gave it a light squeeze.

Letting him go I said, "Thank you, Leo." Holding a hand to my chest I look up at his back with his blue eyes glancing my way with a smile on his face. "Leo. Can you call me Alana when were alone like this please I understand if you don't want to and you just call me princess, but I'd? Um." As I spoke and started to mumble as my words leave me. Leo turns around he smiled and said "Yes Alana, but to keep it professional for Captain I'll call you princess when we're with everyone else okay." Grabbing my chin to tilt my head up I nod as I hummed "Okay Leo." With a smile, we head out the door with Leo ahead of me my a step or two. Stopping for a moment I turn to the place I once called home and turned back to Leo looking to me with a hand held out. Reaching for his hand I felt a pinch on the back of my neck as I grab his hand. Grabbing my neck I snip "Ouch. What was..." Moving my hand as I find to get a hold of a little metal dart and an orange puff ball at the end.

To look to Leo to see the fear in his eyes and I tried to speak, but my body goes numb to fall into his arms. Pulling me to him he looks into my sleepy fading face as he panicked "No no no no no." Rolling me to my back he moves my bag to my head. Leo speaks, but I couldn't tell I could only see his lips moving. I start to panic as my shaking hand comes to his face to the only fall into his hand as I mumble "Leo? Am I dying? What is this feeling?" Blinking my eyes a few times I could only hear someone speaking not able to make out what there saying. Leo looks to them then to me as I could only read his lips as they read "Everything is going to be okay Alana." Laying me down he pushes the hair out of my face and cups it for a second as I lean into his touch as he leaves. Using a bag for a pillow as Leo walks over me as I reach out to him. Slowly rolling over I turn onto my side as I sit myself up to see Cameron.

Finally putting it all together I yell to the best of my ability "You! You're working with the Zalian troops aren't you?" Crawling on my stomach as I gather up the strength I could to get to my feet then fall back to my knees. To hear a laugh crackle as he leans into it. Snapping himself back to look right at me with his cold eyes on me feeling the enjoyment he's getting out of all this. Leo holding his ground as he's charging up as blue lightning shocks the ground covering himself as Cameron's evil smile grows. A small gust of wind came through as Cameron vanished in front of us and then appeared behind Leo looking down on me as his lips turn as he swings his arm hitting Leo in the back making him fly and roll across the ground through the window of the building. Looking to the ground fighting the injection of whatever it was as I sit up to then be slammed into the ground as I feel Cameron's foot on my back. My body starts to burn and sting as I turn my head to him as he puts more pressure on my back to hear it pop. Trying to use my power, but to no avail, Cameron grabbed me by my hair pulling me to my feet.

Stumbling over into his chest he holds me tightly with his slimy hands as his body smells like fish in all the wrong ways. He slides onto my lower back as it slowly gets lower and lower making me discussed. Trying to push away with little the little power I had as my body starts to feel heavy. "Let me go!" Is all I could muster as he grabbed my chin tilting it to face him. Looking into his eyes I can see how giddy he is as his grip tightens around my waist pulling my face closer to his. Getting too close for comfort I spit in his eye to see him flinch as his eyes close to letting my chin go as he whips the spit away looking into my eyes as he licks his fingers freeing him from it. As my skin curdles at the motion I try to hold back my vomit as he speaks "You are to sweet." The devilish smile comes to his face as he leans in to kiss my cheek making his way down to lick my neck. As my hair stands up on the back of my neck my arms flinch and gives me enough straight to push me away as yell "Don't touch me!" Falling back to the ground knocking the wind out of me for a moment as I roll and crawl to Leo as he slowly climes out of the ruble to see tears falling down my face as Cameron grabs me by the back of the shirt lifting me to my feet as I slouch over. As my body snaps, I feel the rush of energy as I feel wait come to my fingertips as I start to hold something. Looking up to Cameron I smile as I glow finally feeling my ability come back to me I swing my arms to him striking him across his chest as I ketch myself with the weapon slouching my shoulders as I pant like a dog as I try to breath.

Looking down at the sword that is now holding me up I can feel the handle as the tip of it is inches in the dirt. Looking back to Cameron his smile not leaving his face when he vanishes once again. With my body stumbling all over as I look around to see Leo running to me with dirt covering him and small cuts alone his skin. Narrowing my vision to see Cameron behind him nailing him in the back of the neck slamming him to the ground. Not see Leo move I rush over to fall then crawl to him as I call "Leo!… Leo!" Grabbing the earth and dragging my body alone it till I get to his hand painting to see a blade by Leo's throat I stop and gulp to look up to Cameron as he speaks calm and collective "Princess. The antiseptic is starting to take a hold and I have a deal for you. If you stop fighting and just come with me I won't kill him. Deal?" His head tilts with a smile painting his lips as my tears stain my face  as I look to Leo and nod as I ask "Can I at least have a moment?" With only a nod Cameron moves the blade away  as he giggles from  him saying "Ten seconds." Turning away I quickly move my hand to my pocket with the blanket and placing it into his hand and folding his hand around it. To move my hands away and look to Cameron as the blurry figure comes to me and lifts me to my feet  sweeping me off my feet as he breaths into my ear " You're now all mine princess." To close my eyes as I'm placed in a deep slumber.
