4 Chapter 4: The Worst Birthday Pt.1

~Eis POV (7 years old) ~

I woke in the morning to look around my room to search around the place to change into, "Ok now that I know that there are people coming it's time to prepare."

My room is pretty much the same as Wiess, much like the rest of the house, has white walls and a white reflective tile floor. The white ceiling forms an arch, and a little over midway up the walls is a thick blue border with gold edges.

In a few places around the room are arch-shaped bookshelves attached to the walls. The room has gold sconces with blue teardrop beads hanging from them.

The entrance area is three steps lower than the rest of the room and has a pair of white armchairs with gold frames next to a glass coffee table with a gold frame. On the floor beneath this furniture set is an ornate off-white rug with borders of varying thicknesses in a pattern of gold, white, gold, blue, gold.

Nearby is a fireplace, above which hangs a mirror with gold curved, leafy designs on the black frame. Hanging to the left of the door is a thick blue curtain pulled to the side by a lighter blue tie.

In the back of the room is an enormous window with equally tall, thick blue curtains pulled aside by lighter blue ties. Next to the window is a simple white desk, to the right of which hangs a portrait of a suit of armor of my grandfather.

On the opposite side of the fireplace is the sleeping area. The king-size four poster canopy bed sits perpendicular to the wall and is dressed in white fitted sheets and a light blue blanket with a pattern of rhombus shapes and black dots.

At the head of the bed are three large, white pillows and one small, circular, light blue pillow. The bed frame is pale blue with curved, leafy, silver decoration with an apple shape at the top on the footboard and the top of the headboard. The headboard has the same light blue rhombus-and-black-dots pattern as the blanket in its middle portion.

At the foot of the bed sits a glass bench, the length of which matches the bed's width. To the left of the bed is a pale blue vanity that has a large, ovular mirror and two drawers with gold handles.

When I look in the mirror, I can't help but say to myself that I resemble Weiss but as a guy, "Still… I can't believe I look at a gender bent version of Weiss but with the short hair still, at least I can be my own person at least."

On the floor, in front of it, is a small, off-white rug with white, ornate designs. Nearby is a small, circular stool with a golden metal frame and a light blue cushion. In the far corner on this side of the room is a gold conductor's stand.

When I look around my room, I can't help but wry smile at the size of it to me it just looks like it's too big for me at times, "Seriously I don't know how my family could like these big rooms? Whatever for now though it's time to get everything prepared."

With that, I quickly go into my closet to change into a different set of clothing to get into wearing a white shirt with a black vest and dark blue pants with black shoes to match.

I swear that in my younger years I was a baby Winter and Willow would dress me up in all kinds of clothes that made me cute and when I mean all I mean ALL kinds of clothes I was crossdressing for a while.

With that in mind I have my aura now which in turns means I have my Semblance Glyphs, let's see if remember correctly they are used for summoning foes they have defeated does that mean Humans and Faunus as well with the Grimm and what are the other effects used other than lighting Dust to speed things up there are like a lot of open possibilities to go with Glyphs with each element…

Sigh… pullback here Eis remember I have to practice using it I can't see myself using it till I grow but first thing first is that I should go meet up with Weiss, "Oh! Yeah, I almost forgot to get my bottle of water!"

I went to grab my bottle of water for today out of all my fastest stands in combat are Horus and Geb at the ready in case something happens I want to be ready.

Geb can dodge Star Platinum punches which are as fast or faster than light itself because it's nimble and flexible so it's pretty good to call for a quick sneak attack when no one can notice, and the strength is good enough as well.

Horus is good for the situational time it can create ice quickly or underneath the assassins as well launch icicles that act as missiles and ice boulders that are strong enough to crush cars…

I may have abused that ability crushing Jacques's expensive cars from time to time mysteriously falling down the sky hehehe…

But seriously though Horus OP in Atlas considering in the series it was in the desert maybe it was strong to show ice all around it but in a snow-like environment let's just say using Horus in Atlas doesn't drain me much of my stamina.

With that in mind, I go outside my room heading towards Weiss's room, "Still this place is so huge? I wonder what grandpa had in mind building this place, it seems a bit overwhelming for a kid?"

I shake my head no but hurry on ahead over to Weiss room that is on the other side of Mansion while remembering that some of the staff left already for the day and have a good view of the hallway.

Decorating one long hallway are nature paintings that exclusively use white, gray, and pale blue colors. Running the length of each hallway is a long blue rug with white floral designs, and along the walls are occasional black armchairs and glass coffee tables with metal frames.

Lining the walls of every room and hallway are black sconces with pale blue teardrop beads hanging from them, topped with white candles.

Across the ceiling of each hallway is a series of chandeliers, each made up of a metal ring with an upside-down semi-transparent dome on the bottom, blue teardrop beads hanging from it, and candles around the edge of the ring surrounding a white cylinder in the center. When lit, the candles on the sconces and chandeliers emit a white-blue flame.

The hallway that runs alongside the piano room has the entrance to Jacques Schnee's study and bears a portrait of the Schnee family. The portrait appears to have been made when me , Weiss Schnee, Winter Schnee and Whitley Schnee were children.

Our mother has a stern expression on her face, while their father's expression is neutral. Winter and Weiss are frowning sadly, and Whitley is smiling brightly. In this portrait, Jacques' dark hair is graying. Above the door to Jacques' study is a crest-like design consisting of curving, leafy lines around an eight-pointed starburst shape.

When I stop to look over the family portrait I only scoff at the frame while expressing disgust for the man, "Tch! One of these days that scum is going to get it. Unfortunately, he also had to not be here today as well taking care of company business how lucky for him."

With that I get on going to the other side of the hallway to Weiss room but still I can't help but complain that why is our rooms separated from each other, "Sigh… still at the very least this birthday is going to be at least surprising."

With that I finally got to Weiss room and see Klein outside and notices me and tries to bow to me before I stop him while raising my hand, "Klein stop I told you before you don't need to bow every time with me it's fine I just want you to treat me as a normal kid."

Klein looks at me but stops before he could bow and says to me with a happy expression, "Why of course Master Eis, I'll stop that immediately I'm waiting for mistress Weiss to come out. You know young master you do look a lot like Weiss in some cases but with short hair and also happy birthday to you and Weiss."

I scratch behind my head embarrassed I guess this is going to be a trend happening in my life now doesn't well at least I don't have to cross dress again.

Then I heard the door opening to reveal a 7-year-old Weiss Schnee wearing a white blue dress around till she noticed me and hugs me while expressing her happiness, "Brother Eis its good to meet you and happy birthday!"

I returned the hug and smile at Weiss as well showing my happiness to match, "Yeah how you are doing sister Weiss and also happy birthday as well!"

When we were done with our hug, we turn our attention towards Klein who was enjoying our moment he begins to speak, "Awe just look at you two growing up before my very eyes the young miss and master snowflakes growing up into fine people makes me so proud."

Weiss and I smile at Klein caring about our birthday since our scum bag of a father left during our important birthday and took Whitley with him to understand business opportunities and Winter should be with Willow in her private garden.

Then Klein starts to explain about a certain someone coming over that I didn't consider coming to our birthday, "Aw yes, young miss and master today we have a few guests today from the newly appointed Headmaster at Atlas Academy and two of his newly appointed Ace-Ops operatives coming here today."

When I heard that I froze on the spot now this was something out of the ordinary from the story but if what Klein said is true then Ironwood is here, and two future members of the Ace-Ops are here this…

This…

This is perfect!

If those guys are here, then I don't have to worry whose here if I know Ironwood from the song and the series, he will always put the lives of the people first before himself…

When it's convenient but the question here is why is he here?

Weiss then asks Klein with clear confusion with her voice and an expression to match, "Uh… Klein why is General Ironwood here on our birthday is he invited too?"

Then Klein answers Weiss question while nodding his head while his eye color changes, "Well yes but he came here to evaluate your bigger sister Winter an interview before she enters Atlas Academy."

Oh, I guess his here for an interview big sis Winter huh, I guess the more you know, I guess.

BANG!

BANG!!!

When everything was calm down that was when we all heard gun shots all around the mansion that seems to get our attention then Klein quickly says to me and Weiss, "Quick young master and mistress get in your sister room immediately and hide."

But that was before we saw down the hall some group of people that consists of two having guns on their person before they started to shoot at us while yelling, "Quick we found the brats and butler fire!!!"

When I saw this, I immediately knew that Weiss and Klein can't avoid the attack of bullets coming towards us there was only one choice now.

When Klein tried to use his body to shield me and Wiess while she had a scared expression, I brought out my stand, "Come out Horus!"

My Stand Horus materialized with only me seeing it and stared to decrease the temperature to noticeable levels to show that there ice all around the area around me but not enough to harm Weiss or Klein.

Just like that an ice wall suddenly appeared to block the rows of bullets while I have a worrying expression, 'I hope mom and big sis are fine…'
