Chapter 26: Happy Huntresses

~Third POV~

After the events of Weiss and Eis winning over the Ace-Ops Marrow and Harriet they have accepted to escort the twins to the Grimm they have the choice from the files they got over the incidents.

But since Harriet and Marrow had their aura depleted everyone decided to take a day to rest up to full strength than to the next day, they will begin the hunt.

As soon as the new day came Eis and Weiss are ready to get their first Grimm to hunt down everything was ready for their hunt.

But the targets they want are at the far reach of each other, so they had to separate from each other, but they had the Ace-Ops with them to help out in the scenario if they were in trouble.

Harriet, Vine, and Elm were the three-man team sent with Weiss to help her get her summons as well as some help.

While Clover and Marrow are with Eis escorting him to the Orochi Taijitu first before going after the Megoliath since it's in its herd.

Currently, Eis is traveling by the Bullhead towards their destination to the Orochi Taijitu apparently it only made a few appearances in the outside wall of Mantle that was damaging the walls in order to get an attempt inside.

The Soldiers and Huntresses that were stationed around the wall found some extreme difficulty from it since whenever a large group of people comes towards it the Grimm just burrows down into the ice using its skulls armor as a drill to get away from them each time as well as some unfortunate soldiers were also swallowed up whenever they saw a shadow beneath them then the Grimm comes out from there to take the bite.

When Eis has read from the report he was quite interested in it mostly because it seems that the Orochi Taijitu seems to be intelligent in its actions and its unique abilities…

~Eis POV (12 years old) ~

Still though as interesting as that Grimm is its best to be on my toes as for that thing can kill me if I'm not being too careful luckily I have my Stands to guard me I don't know if I encounter one that can match or overpower my Stands best to be over-cautious.

I look over to the small passage room with Marrow and Clover asleep waiting or conserving their energy when the time is right…

Which reminds me I still have my BT from the last mission I could pay another one but not this time since I'm in no hurry this time around but considering what I need in the near future how about I try my luck on part 6 Stone Ocean since I still need some Stands from that part.

So, with that in my mind, I started to ask the System through my thoughts, 'System use my BT on part 6 Stone Ocean I have a good feeling this time around.'

With that, I just waited for the results to see what I get.

Well, I can't really say I'm disappointed with the results considering I got one of the Stands I need from Pucci and a level up which is good in my book.

With that done with I check the stats of Whitesnake to see if I need an item to evolve him into C-Moon or it does it by itself?

Well no use waiting let's see what this Stand does can do but I'm more interested about its disc ability.

Hmm…

I guess I don't need to absorb a baby to obtain C-Moon? Oh, thank god! I don't have to I mean where do I even begin to go with that idea get a crazy scientist to do it for me?

Well there is one somewhere in Remnant that is hiding on a unexcluded island but I'm not that desperate to find one or do the plan…

Still though at the very least I know I can take the memories of anyone now with Whitesnake ability and it looks like Whitesnake ability is counted as the same as C-Moon… nice.

Now on to the other one Planet Waves if I recall correctly it has the ability to summon small rocks from space and can't be heard before it's too late right?

Ok so basically, I can spam meteors albeit small can still be very deadly in a fight if wide in the open well better to save that ability of Planet Waves for another day.

I look outwards to the window on the Bullhead to see the city of Mantle I really can't believe it at times it reminds me a bit of DC from Gotham city its dirty and economically poor or at least it should be very less poor considering Jacques was also a reason for it but also the already existing heated tensions with Atlas and Mantle for each other treatment.

The original history of the world of Remnant was that Jacques and probably a few higher people in power let the tension between the two cities were then further worsened an example would be Jacques Scum bag, who in a reckless bid to win the council election, shut down all of the SDC's "non-essential" operations all over Atlas, specifically those within Mantle.

Essentially by doing that he effectively laying off hundreds of Mantle's citizens from their jobs and leaving the rest unable to access the Company's dust supplies vital for their survival and day to day lives, causing the tensions of the kingdom to worsen to the point that a mass riot and severe civil unrest to erupt all over Mantle that although suppressed and the Grimm attack caused by it was repelled many of its citizens were all notably dejected and in despair by the Jacques' actions.

Well that was originally going to happen but now that his gone and Winter changing things for the better, I can't help but feel that a revolution in Mantle would be inevitable in the end since these people can't just continue like this for long unless something is changed.

Heh, I guess I can understand why Robyn wanted to become the next to be elected to change Mantle for the better in all honestly if Jacques is out then that means she would really win in the future I for one can't help but see it.

However, if the people of Mantle would dare try to harm my family…

I shake my head of those thoughts for now though that is still too far away to even consider it there is still a lot of time before anything happens.

But for now, though that is far away from now currently I'm Eis Schnee hunting a Grimm for the time being I noticed that we finally landed on the outside walls of Mantle seeing the other Huntresses there as well.

What got my attention most was the leader of the group was standing there is none other than Robyn Hill and the rest of her graduates as well they all seem to be in there mid 20s if I go by age wise knowledge.

When they saw the Bullhead that had the Atlas Military logo on it they just glare at it, just great this is what I need right now a team of Huntresses pissed off at Atlas Military just great.

Robyn is a young woman with tanned skin and violet eyes. Her light-blond hair is tied in a ponytail. She has a beauty mark under her right eye and another one on the left side under her mouth.

Robyn wears a black sleeveless coat with gray accents over a red double-breasted sleeveless vest, a brown high neck shirt, and a light gray short-sleeved shirt with one right short sleeve that has a black cuff whilst the other sleeve is longer. She also wears a brown belted waist clincher with matching brown pants tucked into black knee-high boots with dark brown cuffs.

Around her neck she wears an olive-green scarf with tattered looking tails hanging behind her. She also wears a pair of black archery styled gloves with the index finger missing on both of them. She wields her weapon, a crossbow, on her left arm.

Fiona is a young woman with short and messy swept styled white hair and olive eyes. She has sheep ears as her Faunus trait with a small hoop earring on her left ear and a small bell earring on her right ear.

Fiona wears an olive-green sleeveless coat with dark brown lapels with the Happy Huntress' Brooch on the left lapel. She sports a green long-sleeved shirt with a white orange trimmed breastplate over it. She wears an orange belt, which holds her coat tightly around her waist. She also wears dark brown pants tucked into gray under the knee boots with the tops folded over revealing the white lining. The soles and toes of the boots are a darker gray.

She also wears dark fingerless gloves accompanied by white and gray forearm armored pads with the left arm covering up to her upper arm whilst the right only partially covers her forearm.

The next person after Fiona is Joanna is a tall, dark skin woman with masculine features and short dark green partially spiked hair, beige eyes and tattoos on her nose and forehead. She wears a cocoa brown coat with dark brown lapels and white trim and hem detail over a light beige long-sleeved top.

She wears artichoke green and white armored pads with emerald green straps on her arms alongside brown gloves. She sports a pair of brown trousers tucked into black boots with emerald green cuffs. She also wears a light gray and pale green breastplate that sports the Happy Huntress' brooch emblem in the Centre.

And the last one in the group May is a fair-skinned woman with medium blue hair, a long butt length ponytail wrapped in white bandage-like fabric, and yellow eyes. She wears a dusty brown coat with a small split in the rear, dark brown lapels with the Happy Huntress' brooch emblem on the right lapel over a gray waistcoat and dark brown top.

She also wears dark brown shorts alongside matching forearm length gloves. May wears gray armor padding over her forearms and the backs of her hands. Alongside a pair of gray thigh socks and dark brown thigh-high boots and an orange scarf.

When we finally arrived on the spot with the Atlas military Bullhead, I noticed their quick change of expression to anger but they almost hid it well except for… May fuck…

From what I remember she was one of the Atlas family nobles at Atlas but wanted to prove to herself that she is cut from the same cloth and is willing to do any means if Robyn gets in seat of power and her family labeling her not there son anymore...

But she also hates more specifically Atlas nobles as well which includes me why couldn't there have been other Huntresses or Huntsmen hunting the Orochi Taijitu today!

When we landed Marrow and Clover woke up and started to get up only to receive some glares to them from the Happy Huntresses group led by Robyn while Clover just stands professionally while Marrow is a bit nervous from the glares.

Its official were doomed…
