#13 - Small Little Timeskip

A/N: It's awkward to say "My idea of heaven", or "My heaven", or something like that, so Mc will refer to his idea of heaven (Peace) as "Nirvana", which is the state of not desiring anything in Buddhism.

~Around Two Months Later~

---|---

It is now June, and i'm not in school still.

Because me, on my infinite stupidity, thought that school started in june.

No, it Ends in June.

So school has ended. That means Jojo will be around much more and in three months i will go to school.

Surprisingly, George wanted me to go to school, I didn't dwell too much in it, but since i accepted his proposal, i would have thought he wanted me to get specialized on his affairs quickly.

Maybe someday i'll ask him why.

---|---

Training has being going fine lately.

I don't know if my mastery over hamon has gotten greater because of my talent or it's all work of my Ravi.

Maybe both.

Jack did various improvements, as now he can swim while not getting wet, not just slowly moving in water, but full on swimming.

That's insane.

The sendo waves would need to be really dense and continuous for that to happen,

Jack himself doesn't think too much of it.

I don't know if he has some sort of inferiority complex or geniously doesn't think it's that great.

Perhaps having a young age helps him with the talent.

Something like ¨Young people learn things faster than old people¨

Whatever. The thing is he's now strong.

His body is way better than a normal person should be.

I mean, he eats a lot, works out a lot and practices an art that makes you peak human

It would be weirder if he was still that weak boy from 2 and a half months ago.

He's still shy though.

Can't do anything about that.

Perhaps he will grow up to be the ¨Shy and good looking¨ kind?

Yeahh, even more now since he has more time without school getting in his way.

---|---

I have finally talked to Erina.

The conversation was more of an exchange of plesantries.

But still.

Oh wait.

She will leave soon right?

Something about his father going overseas if i remember correctly.

Now that there is no Dio around here, then she won't have to evade Jojo, so when she will leave England while being in good terms with Jojo.

They'll send each other letters and stuff like that.

Seems like everything is going fine over there.

---|---

George became a little intense with my lessons.

Jojo's are still fine, but my lessons are more practical.

While Jojo is learning about the world map and filling essays about what he wants to be in the future.

I'm learning how to have a way into this political society

Have you ever seen a scene where the mc does a really weird word play, and then everyone around him laughs and says "You are certainly clever for your age"?

Yeah, I'm him now.

I'm that mc.

Or at least I'll have to be.

Oh, George has also told me to make some far objectives.

Something around the lines of "Where do you want the Joestars to go?"

I still can't wrap my head around him leaving me all of the joestar lineage in my hands.

Well he said something like "This wasn't meant for Jojo, a gentleman"

Did he meant that I'm not a gentleman? Yeah

Did he meant that since I'm not his biological son then he doesn't mind having me do this heavy stuff? Maybe.

Still, it was me who made the decision.

So I'll see it through fully.

I have been recently getting along with the servants, i'd say.

Remember Maria, the servant?

Well, she's surprisingly nice, more than a servant would.

She acts friendly with me, asking me about my day, about my relationships with my father, with Jack, with jojo, if i have any injuries from ¨playing around¨ near the river...

All of this while in her job as a servant.

What i mean by this is that she doesn't overstep any lines that might be offensive to the young master of the house.

She's a nice person, a genuinely nice person, who worries about me beyond having to accomodate to my needs.

Something like a mother figure I've never had...

In neither life actually.

Huh. Is this a cliche?

Whatever, I like it so it's good.

By the way, I just realized I'm actually interacting with the servants more...

Maybe I'm getting closer to my Nirvana with this...

---|---

Talking about the servants, they have been putting more attention to me now.

They already have been doing that, since I was the adopted son of their boss, master, or whatever they call that here.

Actually i think it's master, since they have begun calling me "Young master".

I didn't knew they did that.

I knew they said ¨Your Highness¨ to the heir of the throne, but that's it

I thought that "Young master" was something that only appeared in Chinese media.

I wonder If I'll hear ¨Courting Death!¨...

Back to the point. Apparently some of the servants noticed how George treats me differently than my brother.

These servants told other servants, who told other servants, who told other servants...

Soon enough the mansion knew that the Family Head was being stricter with me.

And most of the servants are familiar with George's personality, so it wasn't a case of "Mean stepfather".

The quick ones figured out that George wanted a succesor.

So I was called young master, not sir.

While Jojo was being called anything other than that.

Sir, Oldest, first born...

I don't think he noticed, and if he did he wouldn't have chalked it up to me getting called young master.

I'd hate if he thought that I'm trying to steal his position, then again, he didn't thought like that of Dio, so I'm pretty much clear.

After a bit of helping around i now have 18 tickets.

I would have 24 but i spent some figuring out the rules.

And I think I got them...

First: The items can't be too strong or usefull and outside of this universe.

If i pick something strong, then it has to be from this universe.

If i pick something not that strong, then it can be from outside the universe.

That's why I couldn't summon the omnitrix or the senzu bean.

Second: The items that i summon need to have special value.

I can't summon a random rock or a pile of hay, my summons need to be something special.

That's why I couldn't summon Master Roshi's sunglasses.

Third: Some things can only be summoned under special circumstances.

So when i tried to summon weigthed clothing with 4 tickets, i was near my closet, so it worked.

I later had to throw them away to not make anyone suspect why such a particular thing was inside my room, but it worked.

Leaving the rules aside, i also condensed some tickets

-----------------------------------------------------------------

- Inventory

 - 18 [Item tickets - Tier 1]

 - 1 [Item ticket - Tier 2]

-----------------------------------------------------------------

And I figured out that they don't go 1+1=2

For tier 2 i needed two tier 1s.

But for tier three i need 4 tier 2s, that's 8 tier 1s

If it follows a x4 from tier two and onwards...

Then I would need 128 tier 1s for a tier 5.

How much did I need for the heart?

"Heart of the saint's corpse" I say with a ticket in my hand.

"3 tier 5s and a tier 4..."

128x3 + 32...

Thats 416 tickets...

Ouch.

Ouch.

Yeah, that's more than a year of helping people daily.

Whatever, what other things can I get?

"Requiem Arrow"

...

"5 tier 5s, 3 tier 4s, 3 tier 3s and 1 tier 2..."

What.

What.

That's uhhh...

730 tier 1s...

Dude, that's like two years of helping people....

Why is it more expensive than the heart too...

Maybe it's because evolving the stand is way harder than getting one...

That's so bullshit.

Oh well.

I wasn't planning to spend my tickets on this anyways.

I wonder if i'll get a different ticket someday.

Something like a weapons ticket, or an armor ticket.

The item ticket can summon those already so, it's kinda redundant i guess...

---|---

And like that, spending my time in my side quests, the next three months passed...

It's now time for school.

Let's hope I have a nice slice of life...

I made the requiem arrow more expensive because the arrow gave GER, while the heart gave D4C. The whole body is more expensive than the arrow though. I'm not saying who's stronger btw, just that 9 parts are more expensive than one arrow.
